Huey: Another Kwanzaa has come. Shunned. Forgotten. Existing just outside of the public eye. We all know it's there, but nobody wants to acknowledge it.
Caesar: It's the Essie Mae Washington of holidays!
Where I’ve generally been, Kwanzaa is recognized, but not observed. Like Essie Mae, “Oh, that.”Not exactly artificial roots. Uprooted & poorly grafted, they wanted to establish a spiritual connection to their biological roots.(& piss off ofay.)
