Granddad: Spring of '95.
Gramps was a Tuskeegee Airman, but he never mentions it in the strip. More mention on the TV, but he doesn’t milk it. There are plenty of vets that love bragging about their war service.
Unless the South Vietnamese were shooting at us the way the Shiites did within two years of our “liberating” them, no, it isn’t fair to Vietnam to compare the two.
