Granddad: And just what kind of costume is that? Riley: I'm the great bag snatcher! Every year the great bag snatcher rises up out of his crib. He runs through the streets snatching the bags of candy from all the good little boys and girls. It's a Halloween tradition, granddad. I have to be out there! Granddad: No way, boy. You're staying in tomorrow night. Riley: C'mon, granddad. I'll cut you in on the action...

My brother would put ice cubes in kids’ paper bags so the bottom would fall out. He did a firecracker one time. He dug the Trick part of Trick or Treat.

Had a thug like that back in the 50s, eventually the neighborhood kids figured out who it was and we beat the s__t out of him. He was nowhere to be found the next Halloween.
