Neither charcoal, nor baking soda nor any other type of deodorant was strong enough to kill the stench in thousands of refrigerators and freezers in the New Orleans area after Hurricane Katrina. With electrical power being out in many places for 3 weeks or more, and people not allowed back to their residences sometimes for even longer, many folks never even opened their coolers up when they returned. They simply duct taped them shut and put them on the curb for the sanitation department to take care of. Among the worst smells was a cold food refrigeration warehouse out near New Orleans East which was filled up just before the storm, and had no backup power source. You could barely get within a mile of that place without smelling it. And in my opinion, rotted chicken smells worse than most rotted fish.

It sounds like the movie stinks worse than the fridge.
