Cleo, Please get some halibut too. When I lived on the Kitsap Peninsula, I had a friend who lived in a nearby town. Her house was close to a wooded area (a little forest). She had a squirrel feeder filled with sunflower seeds chained down by the forest. One day she went to check if the feeder needed refilling and the feeder was gone. A few days later she went for a walk through the forest with her husband and son. They came across some sunflowers growing from a pile of bear scat.

Tabby sorry. I didn’t mean to duck and run, butI wanted to get my sheets off the line (rain) and then it stopped raining so I put Miracle Gro on my strawberries, and potted up a couple of flowers I bought today.

And I may have to run again, severe thunderstorm coming and my husband will shut off the computer! Dang him anyway!

From Appel farms (jalapeno gouda & cheese curds). I have lots of crackers and my homemade baguettes that I have sliced thin and baked until crisp and rubbed with garlic. Dinner will be later but wine and cocktails are ready. Like I have said before. I have all the booze, just bring your mix. I do have organic lemonaide and Canada Dry Lemon Lime Twist, which is like club soda with citrus. Be here or be square.

@Drystyha, caught your post about buying too many plants and then having to find places to fit them all. LOL: Mom’s house was always full. She even had an ivy plant from her bridal bouquet that an aunt rooted for her while they were on their honeymoon. That was 55 years ago. At least a couple of my sisters had ivy from that same plant in their bouquets. And then there was one of my dad’s brothers who at one point had over 1000 plants in his apartment. He specialized in bromeliads, I think. I, on the other hand, didn’t get the family green thumb; I think mine is more of a black thumb… :-(
