Happy Monday, everyone!! Hope it’s a good day and week for everyone.

I just checked my fantasy baseball team, and the nice lead I had in 1st place is almost completely gone. I wish I knew what I was doing there. I was in first place in my fantasy hockey league for a while, but ended up in 4th place in the end.

Codpieces? Is that safe in the circus? ‘Course, if they’re caught printing the money a codpiece may be helpful in the slammer.

Morning, fellow tribesfolk! MMMM - I very seldom think to order poached eggs. May I have one on rye toast with a small side of fruit, Dawn? I brought chilled juice and hot tea to the table. It’s sunny but in the mid-40s so wanted to make sure there was something hot for those who would like it. Well, off to make the rounds. I’ll check in before I head off to the bad place.

My players pretty much didn’t start playing until two weeks into the season, and I am still trying to catch up. Yesterday for some reason, Yahoo! put Edwin Jackson, my Tigers pitcher no less, on my bench so I didn’t get the millions of points he got me for doing fantastic yesterday. Frustrating.

Hello tribe. I’m late as usual, but just wanted to address a concern Tabby legitimately had. I lurk, but I am not a…how to put it…stalker? I don’t comment because there are so many comments ahead of mine, I’m short on time and nearly everyone is asleep anyway.

I’m wary about giving out geographic details, or even if I’m male, female or undetermined. I’m as old and the hills and as young as yesterday. As close as you’re gonna get to me is I’m on EDT and too close to the Atlantic for comfort (being from the gulf coast I am very wary of hurricanes).

I am owned by a feline fleabag…working on getting rid of an infestation of fleas. Lovely little yappy dogs next door….never had this problem last year.

Gotta run, supper’s ready. My feline, who is also named Stormy, is annoying me for her supper, too. Have a good evening, Tribe.

Oops, I misremembered. It’s September 19, with its own website: http://talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html.

But maybe, in honor of our local crew of cutthroat ruffians, we should make it a week, at least???

Wow! That is a lot of subscribers - and I don’t even subscribe. Wonder if it means all of the people who subscribe to the papers that carry the ‘toon.

Well, I didn’t get out for my walk. Will go after supper when it’s cooler. It is 28 degrees Celsius - That’s 82 1/2 Fahrenheit! Too hot to walk.

Congrats Serena - that is a big step.

Carmy, glad it went fairly well. I too contribute energy.

Quaby. No worries. With a cat named Stormy, you’ve got to be a good lurker. Welcome, and bring Stormy along to keep my lad Mua company. Sometimes you will see Mua in my avatar. This week I went for a cat and duckling, in keeping with the theme at the time I picked it.

You know, I must admit that when the chatter gets on the horns being blown, I keep remembering back to one of Microsoft Window’s (??) game packages, including the marching mice, the thief-treasure grab, and various other forms of silliness, including one with horns that caused various cobras to rise from their baskets and push the falling basket tops back up into oblivion. There were three, if I remember: one in particular was brassy, and another was more the “traditional” snake charmer’s flute or horn (a nay??).

bmonk. I never saw the snake charmers. sounds like fun. I have a photo of a snake charmer that my dad took in the Punjab when he was there during WWII. Woven basket, the whole shebang.

No, I just was laughing about it…blaatt!

    Weeenh!

Alas, the games are gone with the program they came with…like these haiku error messages:

A file that big? It might be very useful. But now it is gone.

This site has been moved. We’d tell you where, but then we’d have to delete you.

You step in the stream, but the water has moved on. This game is not here.

Serious error. All shortcuts have disappeared. Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

Your File was very large And did many useful things. Alas, it is gone.
