Well, in that case I’d better get cracking, we shall do fried eggs, over easy, we can do scrambled also, with chives and cream cheese, bacon, and sausage, fried potatoes, toast, and for those who aren’t so big on grease, I will do some of my great Grandma’s homemade pancake’s. I will also have plenty of OJ and milk. I don’t have any coffee though, so someone will have to help me out there. Enjoy!

I prefer eggs and some pork…fried. (rustle, rustle). Yes…a bit of fat back. This should crisp up nicely. A nice white-trash fritatta….

Hi Shika just got back from a walk and only Nox is left cleaning up the mess everyone left. Ah well. I’ll have the oatmeal Shika but with fresh strawberries and walnuts. I’ll follow that with a coddled egg and toasted homemade multi-grain bread and a slice of orange. Or perhaps pea-meal bacon and fried eggs with hash browns. Anyone want to join me?

I remember once that a friend of mine saw my dog Kaya doing tricks. He decided to show me how his cat could do a trick. He repeatedly called his cat trying to get her to go to her water dish. The cat just sat where she was, not moving. Eventually he got irritated and picked up the water dish and placed it in front of the cat. I looked at the cat and said, “That was a good trick.”

Bounce This Along!

The US Postal service sent out a message to all letter carriers to put a sheet of Bounce in their uniform pockets to keep yellow-jackets away.

Use them all the time when playing baseball and soccer. I use it when I am working outside. It really works. The insects just veer around you. All this time you’ve just been putting Bounce in the dryer!

It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them. It also repels mice. tabby - Make sure you pick a password you can remember this time! My son tells me his passwords, just so that if he forgets, he can ask me. Also, he has to change his password for his college account every 90 days, so when he changes it, he only changes it by one character, and then it isn’t so difficult to remember. I have so many passwords & logins to remember that I have to record them to remember, but I don’t have them where just anyone can find them.

Rmom thanks. i only have me and i normaly use something simple or important to me, but this time i forgot it. wow i never do that. and it sucks. i will be writing it down and sticking it somewhere safe.

I thought about suggesting that you tell one of your parents, but then I remembered your family situation, and decided that might not be the best thing. My son couldn’t think of a great password, so he’s using one of my standards, with a slight alteration. I have a ton of different accounts that I have to keep track of, because I take care of my mom’s stuff, besides my own family’s. As I get older, my memory’s getting worse, so I know better than to rely solely on my memory, which means I’d better record them somewhere, but I hate to look up a password every time, so I try to pick ones I can usually remember, but that a hacker wouldn’t guess too easily.

Rmom it okay. i have to “be a grown up” sometime. so this is something i have to do on my own. I already have a new one picked out and about to write it down, and hide in a good hiding place. lol

i just tryed the tv and computer one and its cool i think it worked.

I have a handfull of passwords that I use depending on the site. Usually they are variations of each other so easy to guess. At work they used to make us change our password every month (now it’s every three months). I would open up the dictionary and find an 8 letter word that would be easy to remember and then each month change the last two digits to 01, 02, etc. I do have some other passwords at work for other sites I need for my job, but I just write down a letter to help me remember what it is (again just variations of work type passwords)

Hmm, a new kind of Saturday night water fight?

oh no ive messed up now. i have gotten attached i named a duck. :(

we found some ducks in the yard and the mom was dead someone ran over her. so we got the babies now 4 of them and mrs. sherrie (one with the chickens) has them at her house. one is mine. and we were trying to find a good home for them because we cant get them to eat and are getting worried. all they eat is crackers and it cant be enough of them. but i named the smallest one today… i was thinking tiny but that is so boring so im going to find a better word for small or tiny. lol

The greatest excuse ever:

I urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to take leave.

I thought that maybe if I acted “Crazy” then he would tell me to take a few days off.

So, I hung upside-down on the ceiling and made funny noises.

My co-worker (who is blond) asked me what I was doing.

I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb, so, that the Boss might think I was “Crazy” and give me a few days off.

A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked, “What in the name of goodness are you doing?”

I told him I was a light bulb.

He said, “You are clearly stressed out.” Go home and recuperate for a couple of days.”

I jumped down and walked out of the office…

When my co-worker (the blond) followed me, the Boss asked her, “.. And where do you think you’re going?!”

(You’re gonna love this….)

She said, “I’m going home too. I can’t work in the dark.”

Pretty tame day today, but still fun. Everyone have a good rest of the night!!

carmy - Yes, I did. The house I was at had this spectacular view of the sound with the Olympic peninsula visible in the near distance and the Olympic mountains visible beyond that. It was neat watching the ferries come and go, along with sailboats, tugs with barges and two cruise ships. The day was stellar sunny and comfortable.

I can tell by Shikas post, it’s happening to her too!
