Had some acid reflux, and am waiting for the meds to settle it down so I can lie back down & sleep. So I won’t be on too long, I hope. This is tricky, because without my contacts in, I’m using my bifocals. But as long as I stick my nose up in the air, and look down at the screen that way, I’m getting by. My eyes are being weird anyway - see Thursday’s postings for details.

Sorry all, I was pulled away after my post and did not get a chance to post today’s breakfast menu. Yes, I have more fresh blueberries and raspberries from our garden. I also have some seedless watermelon and cantaloupe. I have scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, fried potatoes with garlic and onion and my wheat bread with your choice of honey, orange marmalade and plum jam.

good morning all!! all of these late nights and earlyer mornings are going to kill me… they are starting to catch up with me. i got up at 6:50 to go get the kid. i didnt get to sleep till after 1. so fun. its now 8:13 and i got 2 kids out the door and on the way to day care and my best friend ready to go and out the door by helping with the kids. and now i have the 3rd kid here playing in the room.

oh and i did some laundry. so tired when he goes hom later im taking a nap…. if my friend is not here. hits head on desk theres to many things to do all the time sigh

Hello everyone. I just popped in to say hi and to see what was for breakfast. EVERYTHING sounds so good that I’m glad to see that someone came up with a fun game to play. Chasing and popping baloons should wear off a little of these fantastic snacks. I think I have aboout as much willpower concerning food here as in real life. It’s sooooooooooooo hard to pass up good food.

I think I may take the dayoff today, except for the laundry. I rode my 18 miles, baked, and attended a meeting from 5:00 to 7:00 PM yesterday. I took an hour’s walk this morning, and am feeling very lazy right now.

It isn’t really that big of a deal compared to some of the other ailments I put up with, but I was wide awake (some weird dream about doc and ladywolf - that would wake up most people and give them heartburn). Since I wasn’t real sleepy, and I knew it would be pointless to lay down until the acid settled down, I decided to surf.

But the workshop was pretty intense. Good movement and pacing, so we were rarely to aware of how hard we were working, but by the end of the work each day, we are just exhausted!

And about cats and their fights, followed by communal naps as a catball: I’ve also wondered about cats who are napping, and suddenly realize they are late for an appointment (usually with an empty space) at least 20 feet away. So they spring into action, rising from their nap and running full tilt until they…quit. And like as not go back to napping, now in the next room.

Where did you train?

As is, ls last night as I laid in bed trying to sleep My mind went into another deep thought period and suddenly another story idea developed.

You can guess where Eastern Time is. You know I have to be careful. But I do have an idea where you are, and so at least we are in the same longitude, more or less.

I’m in Michigan. Physically anyways…lol. Don’t care who knows, because there ain’t nothing you can do with that info.

Deep thought does that to me. Some people call it day-dreaming, but I think it is just a sign of intelligence.

Of course, I have to say that. I admit to losing myself in thought. What else am I going to say, lol

I did Ranger Training at Fort Benning, Georgia and Special Forces Training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

I’ve always wanted to go to Canada. Dad and I are hockey fans. Love the Monteal Canadians.

Ladywolf I dono’t know a lot about hockey, except my two nephews used to play. The older on, who’s 27 now still plays goalie. He’s good too. They both like the Canadiens too. some of the best players come form there.

When I signed on to gocomics i was not aware that the first name is your username. Most places allow for your profile to show a seperate name for “username”. I have used lonewolf and lonewolfseven for 15 years now on most sites.

Lonewolf I wasn’t laughing at the Fort. It was the name Bragg. Sorry, I just have a slap-stick style of humour, and names make me giggle.

My best friend met her husband in the Canadian forces. She trained out west in boot camp. I forget the name. They’ve lived in Greenwood, N.S. and Virginia, and now in Ottawa.

She was a navigator before she took time off to be a mom to 4 kids. Now she’s a lawyer. He’s one above a Major. Starts with a “C”

Lonewolf, you should be proud of your training and service! It’s very special. My Dad taught pilots during WW2.

I am a super hockey fan. I played 4yrs in high school.

Detroit and Chicago are part of the original six hockey teams along with Toronto, Montreal, Boston and New York Rangers. Two were Canada and four were U.S. lol

Ladywolf, RL Stine may not be the best literature but he started many a boy or girl reading because his books caught their interest. They progress from there.

My Dad was a radar mechanic in WWII. He was in the RAF and then the RCAF when they formulated it. In India, Calcutta in those days. Called the Punjab.
