Hmm, I suppose I am in charge of that. Well, how ‘bout the old stand-by. An omelet, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon cream cheese, green onions, green peppers, olives, shredded cheese, and toast. I have milk and a variety of juices to try, but coffee I will leave to Doc. I will also have homemade pancakes and I think I have some grapes and musk melon for the pickings. Enjoy.

Where is she? The one you all call ladywolf17. She has not delivered her story tonight, and no one wants to tell me why. I know she comes here because by clicking on the avatar or the name you can see what comics they comment on. So can anyone here tell me why she has vanished and when to expect her return. I look forward to her story telling, and hate that she seems absent tonight.

Please can’t anyone here help me. I’m not anything you need to fear of. It’s just that over at Pibgorn the comic doesn’t update tonight and the party over there is a bit boring, without her entertaining all of us there with her stories.

So you have been here too! I see darkwraith you have insulted ladywolf’s stories so I am angry with you. There was a time when I was a troll, I hated ladywolf17 and her dad, wolfbyte36. But over the months I got to know them better. They are good people. Sure they have had their share of problems, but who here hasn’t. Fact is you have insulted someone that I respect and admire . Not only has she entertained us with great story telling but my wife and children also love her stories and have come to adore her when she comes on. If I ever catch you insulting the people here or anywhere on this site again. I WILL FLAG YOU INTO OBLIVION. That is all I have to say.

Sorry about that fellow Tribe Mates, This was something important that I had to address.

I hope that ladywolf is having fun with her family. I look forward to her return as do all of you.

Maybe one of these days she’ll tell some stories to us. Of course we need to encourage her into it. She wont tell any stories to us if she thinks that we wont approve. Her dad has told me in our instant messaging sessions, that ladywolf considers all of us as high class people and that she feels humble because she’s nothing but a kid with a talent. She looks up to us and want’s to please us. But at the same time she’s afraid that she might upset too many people. So I ask each and everyone of you tribe members, Elders included, what then shall we do? Do we ask her to entertain us with her stories like she does at Pibgorn. Or do we ignore and do what we have been doing.

I guess I was so tired last night I dozed off and was out for the night. This rehab with my stamina gets the best of me sometimes.

As far as ladywolf/wolfbyte goes, I am trying to learn to take a lot of what goes on with a grain of salt. Over dramatics burn into me. I like people for who they are, not for who they try to be. But I also don’t give up on people easy because I am a people person and enjoy making new friends/acquaintances.

As with the stories, they are on Pigborn and I know where to find them if I want to read or am curious.

Again, as with all of us on this public site, whether elder or not, it’s also just my opinion.

And as with all of my opinions, if it’s too much, let me know and I’ll decide my next move accordingly.

Doc I’ve driven through Colorado on the way to Montana. In the military, I rode the Cavalry Recruitment horses out of Ft. Hood, Texas. I was fortunate to ride the route of Custer’s Last Stand. We all wanted to stop in Colorado and get some skiing in but the Big Boys said no.

The scenery in CO was awesome with the winding roads and all! Loved it tremendously.

Good morning. docT how safe is that silo of yours. I’m sure I’m ok on the east coast, but I would have to lose Colorado as a state.

lonewolf I think you’re right about family with lady and her dad. I think just posting her stories in Pibgorn should work - this way we can find them and it’s not extra work for her.

Quaby what did you think about Being Human? I’ll definitely watch it again, but I’m not addicted to yet. I just wonder how much is edited for our viewing - I saw one word get bleeped out and a few blurry backside pictures. I have a feeling England gets to see and hear it all.

I have a problem with the wolf family discussing their personal problems on a comics forum. They would be better discussing these things together privately. They seem to have a bit of a problem with boundries. People here are kind hearted and wish to be helpful and lend an ear, but none of us are professionals at counseling.

Akenta I liked Being Human. It has a lot of promise. Vampires, werewolves and ghosts just trying to live normal lives like anyone else. And, unlike True Blood, there is no substitute to help the vampires.

I’ll try to pop over to find the stories on Pibgorn. I usually don’t read many comments there, it’s just too flamin’ many of them, even before the Tribe took over the Big Top. The way I see it….Big Top is for the yappy natter and the other comic comments are more for comic comments. BT rarely had a comment.

Got to run, having a ‘movie night’ starting mid-afternoon at a friend’s place. Got to do the bills (((yeech, bleech, phottohie))) Have a good week guys!

Morning Tribe! Yes, Cleo we enjoyed the rain too. And it was strange not seeing the lightning. Especially since I am from the prairies. There was the occasional sheet lightning. Went to Victoria’s Luminara last night (a lantern festival) and we were rained out. Took an hour to get out of the parking lot. I agree with the majority. I enjoy reading Ladywolf’s stories on Pigborn and have trouble getting through all the comments here as it is. But, Ladywolf do continue writing. You’re very talented.

Hi Marg, it is now just after noon - when almost all the rest of the Tribe is getting ready for supper, I’m just making brunch. Yes we retirees only have two meals a day. Makes for easier cleanup. Today, brunch is oatmeal with cinnamon,raisins, craisins, raspberries, blueberries, walnuts sunflower seeds and a little oatbran. Takes as long to make as a sandwich and much better as far as I’m concerned! We’ll follow it with homemade bread toasted and topped with homemade strawberry jam. You are all invited to partake!

Of course, we had a couple of lattes earlier…

I agree with Cleo. Thanks Shika, for the rain. IT was much appreciated.

It is days like these when I am glad that I live on a lake, It’s hot, but the way our house is situated, it is a rare day when we do not get a breeze off of the lake which helps on a day like this and also keeps the bugs away.

Akenta I’ve also noticed Louiseitis is attacking lightenup. I think I may have missed the original spark, but I did notice lightenup mentioned Louiseitis by name as being a grouch or something along that line. Pretty mild. But after that, Louiseitis has really gotten hateful (might have already been that way - I just didn’t notice before). I just started flagging her/him each time I read one of its hateful posts. Maybe if enough people flag them, it will help.

I glad you guys got the rain. I guess we have more here than we thought. We had a doozy of a storm during the sermon today. I could see the lightening hit the building and run down the sides.

Quite the theatrical effect, with our pastor preaching about the wrath of God LOL.

He’s led quite a life, and the reference to the molten iron was from his teen age days working in the furnace room of a big iron smelter. Quite a job, kind of like a literal he77.

Then he was a parametic and then a fireman before becoming a pastor. If anyone faints during his sermons, he’s there before anyone else.

Hi Tabby Terry, my league is just cumulative point total, in which I am in 6th. However, I was at rock bottom to start the season so I’m getting better. Yes It’s the Tigers/Sox going. I have been loving this series because they seemed to be done for the year, but they have come out hitting against the Sox. They have a chance today, though, Porcello has been shaky lately.

I’m going to say good night and watch Doctor Who. I think this will end my tv addiction for a while.

I missed seeing Jimi in concert in Vancouver, BC, because he was busted at the border for drugs, but I did see him walking down Granville street awhile later. I would have loved to have seen him in concert. Quicksilver, I did see in concert at a rock festival in Mission, BC.

I can relate - my husband has had neck problems, and we’re having to make payments on what insurance didn’t cover. You might check with their Accounts Receivable and see what discounts/payment plan they can help you with.

hymenoxis - We have our dry period every year at this time is well. All of our plants have to be drought tolerant for the months of July and August.

Same here in North Texas. We’ve got soaker hoses buried in the flower beds to keep the indigo spires from collapsing completely.
