Hello all. I find it unusual to understand that people have a difficult time grasping onto the concept of people getting together on a great comic strip and just reveling in the fact that people can have a good time and become friends through conversation and listening to another person’s opinion and respecting it. Life is about trust and some people believe in trust and others try to bypass it. I love Big Top and the friends that I have made here. Everyone is welcome, you can do here what you wish, but if you want friendship you have to approach people with an open heart and an attitude that is accepting. Everyone can post and everyone has a choice as to whether they want to answer a post or move on. It is a shame if you do not see the benefits of making friends.

And since we’ve said that, and it’s JFri’s fault I’m first, and he slipped out the back door, what should I feed the hungry multitude, which so far is just me and you!! LOL!

Scrambled eggs with green and red peppers, onions, and monterey jack cheese mixed in, Canadian bacon, Jimmy Dean sausage links, pancakes with Vermont maple syrup, fresh blueberries and honeydew melon, and for drinks, Choclate milk, V8 , cranberry juice, apple juice, Earl Grey tea, doc’s coffee,

    What else Cleo?

Dawn - Thanks for looking! I’ve decided I’ll just post the “1” as our code that I can’t see that page. Then, if anyone posts something on that page that they want me to see, they’ll know why I missed it. Otherwise, life is too short to let those little things ruin my day.

I wondered if the problem on page 2 had to do with someone catching bigg’s typo - leaving the “e” off, when he probably meant pulling out of here.

I’m happy to get to see all of you for a bit this morning. Dawn, I left you a chocolate bar. RRAMom, the ice cream flavors are: Double Strawberry, chocolate, and Banana Split. It’s Blue Bunny ice cream, so it’s very tasty.

Now, RL beckons, so I’ll probably be back much later. Have a good day, All.

thanks for the belated birthday greetings, though that isn’t why i mentioned it. and DawnAvril, it is a good day every year. the one time when i get my whole family together at my place for a big visit. i live in a condo apartment and i usually wind up visiting them, but the yearly stress of getting the place uncluttered enough for company is worth it.

Of course, it’s MonsterQuest, how reliable can it be? We were only watching to kill time until something else came on. It was interesting, though.

It was supposed to be a gray, rainy day . instead it was sunny and beautiful. We went to a country nursery, to a resort town for a lovely seafood lunch, an organic lamb & beef farm and home to sit on the deck in the waning sunlight. I love these “rainy” days.

Mopar - I don’t know about the van. I drove it home yesterday, parked it in the garage, and haven’t messed with it. I’m hoping with a 3-day weekend my hubby will have time to look it over at least, but I know better than to ask him to do stuff on Friday evening that can wait until Saturday. Especially when he helped me with a different problem this afternoon.

I’ve found it a necessity to have at least one spare vehicle, since my hubby usually does the work on ours, which means it sits between the time it breaks or he tears it apart, and the time it takes to get the replacement part & install it. With all of our vehicles having more than 100K, and most having 200K+, it isn’t unusual to have one needing repair.

Ah yes the streak. I remember the time when my cousin and her mom were visiting. This was during the 70’s and I was around 19 to 21. My cousin encouraged me to streak through the living room in front of my mom and her sister, which of course I did without hesitation. Maybe that was the start of my illustrious life as a person sans clothes. :-)

My brother and sister in law were originally planning to marry on Sept 5th because it exactly half way between their respective birthdays. They didn’t, but their daughter was born on that date 2 years after they did tie the knot. just thought it was an interesting coincidence. back later.

My wife is a Jeffersonian admirer. I am not sure if you are familiar with a fellow by the name of Clay Jenkinson. He is a scholar from North Dakota but becomes Jefferson, Theodore Rosevelt and Oppenheimer. He will sit and answer questions as if he were one of the three men. He is particularly known for his take on Jefferson. He will answer questions on Jefferson both during his lifetime and how he would react to what is going on in the world today. We went to the University of WA and listened to his lecture. Very informative and interesting.

Dry- Is that the theme to Fantasy Island? Hey, I am glad that you are up, but didn’t you want someone to tell you to go to bed if you stayed up late?

Dry - Are you just not sleepy, or are you stressed out about your dad?

Barry White has always been the music one plays when love making is on one’s mind. I hardly think that anyone is going to play the greatest quotes of “The Tribe” when in an amorous mood.

Well, come to think of it, maybe some of the peanut gallery would consider our words amorous, or so it seems. Bizarre as that may be.

Dry - Are you happy with your choice of facilities for your dad? It is tough making such decisions, but all you can do is analyze the situation and make your best guess. I am sure that you did your due diligence. You can only do what you can do and not dwell on whether you did enough. You are a good daughter and whatever decisions that you have made have had a good heart behind them.

Dry - Yes I have and have a good sleep. Forget your worries for the night and just drift into a trouble free relaxed sleep.

    See you in the morning.
