A dribble of rain here and quite a bit warmer than it has been. It is 49 degrees at 6:50.

Thursday and Friday supposed to be in the 30’s no higher, rain, rain and snow mixed, and if it gets icy all the leaves are still on the trees, so they are predicting major power outages and fallen trees! HAPPY NOW DOC!!

That’s what I’m saying, Cleo. We sure do change our minds as the temps get colder. Two months ago 60 would be chilly. Now I’d love it!

I don’t dare go outside until I have to, and as much as I don’t want this to be the case, I might have to use my winter coat! Drat!

Good morning DigitalFrog that’s more snow than I care to see at this point. Hope the drive home goes better. Terry, I have been able to get away with a sweatshirt covering 3 or 4 shirts, but that is starting to fail to. With this coat, I can go out with just a T-shirt on, and still be fine until the subarctic temperatures come.

hi Dry, Carmy, (though she’s left) Cleo, Doc, jdoc, DF, & Terry current temp is equal to 37 F with a forecast high of 45. sun trying to force its way through the clouds to make the “sunny” forecast a reality. a nice crisp fall morning!

Dry as soon as i finish my puzzles, i’m back to adding the captions on my pics. when i’m done, i’ll explore ways that are not facebook for sharing. i’ll let you know when i get to that point. time for puzzles.

Dry–I honestly did not know that they had long johns for women. During my hunting days female hunters just got “hunter’s clothing” for the cold.

JFri & MoPar - Hello you guys. I am sitting at home on an absolutely lovely day awaiting a visit from the UPS guy. He will be arriving sometime between 8AM and 7 PM. I have to sign for a case of wine I am receiving and I have missed out on a bike ride and a couple of other things.

We are going to be gone until sometime Saturday so I will not be posting anything tomorrow and Friday, unless I can squeeze a moment in the morning.

Dry–I’ve got to ask her about that. She is cold even when the kids and I think it’s warm. I think she would like them. She also works in the Records Department of a hospital and they don’t heat those rooms real well I guess.

Cleo–You are on the move quite a bit lately. Is this for pleasure or business?

My wife has a nursing seminar on Friday in Olympia. Her dad has a summer home there so we will tie the seminar in with a visit with him before he and his wife head to their winter home in Green Valley, AZ.

Capilene is lightweight under garments that work well to wick sweat and keep you warm without being bulky.

Cleo–That sounds like a nice mini get-a-way for a few days.

The weather here is driving me nutso, too. I wait to take the dogs out until it stops raining and as soon as I get them out there, it starts again!

LOL Terry get a towle and keep by the door. when they come back inmake them go in one at a time and wipe there feet and body off then let them in. baby wipes help the “wet dog” smell. :D

I’m watching Hogan’s Heroes as I am working & playing on the “puter. No matter how many times I see the episodes, I still laugh my tail off at them!

Tabby,–Doc, the Husky I do that with. Zoe, the Papillon is so spastic, that it’s almost immpossible to hold her down when she first comes in. And on top of it I need the baby wipes from me being wet! LOL

My lab Cleo was amazing. You could take her for a walk on a rainy, wet, muddy hike. She would lie down in every mud puddle and when we would get home she would be as clean as if she had taken a bath. I love the greeting that you get from pets when you come home. Even if you have been a jerk and everyone is shunning you the dog is excited at your arrival.

My dog thinks I am the best even when I’ve been a jerk to HIM!

A guy in another league keeps giving me a hard time about a bad move I made, and he won’t let it go, so I gave him some bad words, and Yahoo doesn’t censor posts!
