1.Cover your car with fake snow in the middle of summer.
2.Walk up to strangers, and start talking to them as if you know them.
3.Pretend that you don’t understand someone.
4.Pretend ignorance to sarcasm.
5.Maniacal Laughter for no apparant reason.

7.Carry a stuffed animal around with you, pretend that not only is it real, but that you are carrying on a two sided conversation with it.

Lox? There were 27 varieties of it in the local store when I grew up ranging from$7.99 a quarter pound to 2nd mortgage a quarter pound. I was the token gentile, but they still sold it to my mom. The mortgage will be paid off next year.
Good morning, tribe!Terry - Thank your better half for the information on the quilt. I’m wondering if it had different names, because that name didn’t sound familiar. For some reason I want to think it had something to do with a drunk walking.
I’ve got a double wedding ring quilt that my grandma (who died before I was born) made for my parents. I can remember seeing it on their bed when I was growing up. I’m so thankful that several years ago, I asked Mom to make one for my bed, so I’ve got that one too. She made me a “Sunbonnet Sue” for my twin bed when I was a teenager, using scraps from clothes she had made for me. She made a “Farmer something” (I can’t remember if it is Bob or what) for one of my boys, but since he didn’t care for it, that one’s in good condition. Maybe an “Overall Sam”?
I’ve got a baby quilt that my grandma started, and my mom finished up, that’s in very good condition. I think that’s a miniture double-wedding ring, but I’d have to look. She made a quilt with airplanes for my other son, but it is in tatters now. I’ve learned now that if you make a quilt for a child, either it needs to be considered disposable, or only use it under supervision.
I’ll have to get busy with the camera and round up the quilts here, so I can add them to photobucket.
But today, I’ve got to drive up to her house and work some more. Who knows what I’ll find today?
Morning, Doc! They are saying we might get some snow later this weekend. Northern KS is supposed to be getting it now, we got rain instead. (Thank goodness rain doesn’t need shoveling!) It is good to have the reservoirs and water tables filled up, but I’d rather have sunshine.
Rmom, that’s funny that you should mention that other name. Wolfangil also said something to that effect, but could not find any documantation to back up her thoughts. The only thing she could find with that similar pattern was what I repeated for her. Now she will dig until she finds it. :^)
Snow! I’m sorry )-:. You’ve inspired me to come up with some of my own coffee recipes! Of course, since I was only on my first cup of coffee I have no idea where I left them.
Hey Rmom I have a note from my Gma, promising to make me a quilt. No quilt though. She made a lot of things but still hasn’t made that.
Rmom, I’ve learned if you make a quilt for a child that is something they are going to want when they grow up, you hang it on the wall, for a lovely decoration. Then get them a disposable one from the store for use.
Add: Actually, I’ve never made a quilt for a child. But I did make sure the monkeys didn’t destroy theirs before they were old enough to appreciate them.
We don’t bother to shovel snow out at our place. We’ve got a long gravel driveway. 3 of our 5 vehicles are 4WD, so we don’t usually get stuck. If it snows this weekend, I may end up having to shovel at Mom’s house, just for safety’s sake. (Her driveway is paved.)
LuvH8 - I at least had more foresight than my siblings (who are all older than me, so that’s not an excuse) to ask Mom to make things for me before she got to the point of not being able to. She did several wheat paintings, and I may be the only one who got one while she was still living. Out of the 5 of us kids, I was probably the closest to my parents, although my folks would never say so, but they did pick me to be the one to handle their affairs. I’m going to have to find a picture of me in my wedding dress, and post that. She had made several wedding dresses before I got married, so I requested the most elaborate style I liked. She was so great at changing patterns to make something just the way I wanted it. My mother-in-law loves to sew, but she can’t change patterns at all.
I’d love to stay and chat, instead of going out in the drizzling weather, but duty calls.
Good Morning!
The salt and pepper in my hair are having a territorial dispute. I’m rooting for the pepper!
Doc, my BIL in Chicagoland has picked up several snow blowers that have been pitched to the curb for the garbage pickup. They usually only need minor repairs. He has kept some and sold some. Maybe someone in your local Tribe can help you find a snow blower to use at WildCheetah’s.
Thanks Sweet Tabby!Doc, okay, I understand. You just want to shovel so you can stay looking buff for wildcheetah.Cleo, I am thankful. My husband has more salt than pepper, but he shaves it all off.
Pulling a Shika move here….
LuvH8 - One thing about kids and quilts. If they like the quilt, and love the person who made it, they feel like they are wearing a hug from that person. (Yep, my kids will wrap themselves up in one of those quilts, and walk around it in, even to this day.) I just didn’t have the heart to prize the quilts higher than my child’s feeling of being loved. The only quilt that I put away to save was the one that my grandma started and mom finished. The rest were to be used with love. The quilts she made for my kids later were simple block patterns, so she didn’t put as much time into them, knowing they would get heavy use. Love is so much more precious to me than any object.
You are right about love being more precious than any object. In my kids cases They loved looking at the quilts and I knew they would enjoy the memory they would have as they got older. They weren’t into cuddling into blankets (too active). And I knew that the quilts would be the only thing they had left that was made by that person just for them.
I have a patchwork quilt in the attic, made by my great-grandmother. Used it on my bed as a child, but it won’t take another use so I keep it as a memento.
Doc, good for you!
Cleo, I’m sorry. You continue to do what you want, your happiness is more important. My husband’s bald head looks kind of lumpy, I guess it’s from all the hard knocks.
good morning Tribe
i know i’ve been a bit scarce lately, but life and the olympics have been keeping me busy. just a quick drop by to try and keep from getting too far behind, but that malware “your computer is infected with many viruses! download our cure now” thing is interfering with my attempts. hope everyone is well, and i’ll leave some good karma in the bank for those in need.
BC13 the virus would be in what i download. it isn’t my computer telling me i have many viruses, it’s a piece of spam popping up from gocomics that looks like a warning. it might also be a phishing program, but i’m not going to tempt it. problem is, every time it pops up i have to exit from the site to get it to go away. i wish they could do without these (&(&^)^^%$&@#$)! pop ups.
I have Norton, so I knew right away it was a gimmic, but it seemed like the virus and Norton had a battle going, because that window DID NOT want to close.
Dry same problem I had/have with it. have to close down the tab and then reopen it to get rid of it.
BC13 so far my anti virus is staying ahead of it, but i will be watching it carefully.
cleo the avatar is a photo of my computer screen taken in a dark room with no flash while playing Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” and then editing to reverse the colours. i took a few pics, and this was the one i liked best, but a couple of others are a close second.
still touring…
Good Morning BC13. A virus trumped Norton on my last computer as well. I try to be extra careful who I have contact with, but if Go Comics is a culprit- I’m up a creek.
Dry dustmop? DUSTMOP?? (actually i guess it does look a little like one. i thought of it more as a “ring of fire” myself.)
hi Shika & bye Shika.
time for me to get ready for work (past time, actually) so i will take my leave. see you when i see you (say it Dry.)
Tabby
Reminds me a lot of my younger days when both my sister and I almost got caught doing things we shouldn’t be doing when my parents got home, and we’re just sitting there like 2 perfect little angels…but they knew we were up to no good.
Bc13 LOL oh we do the same. my little brother would jump up and hide the food he was eatting in the livingroom, like he was told NOT to do. lol and i would hide the sweets i was eatting in the kitchen somewheres. we still do that. its just bc we are told not to do so so we do. lol
It just dawned on me JFri, you’re a walking George Thorogood album, beginning with “One Bourbon, One Scotch & One Beer” then ending with “Bad To The Bone”.
i have not heard “bad to the bone” in so so soo long. i was like 5 or 6 the last time i heard it. i used to sing that to my little hearts content along with “akey breaky heart” lol
lol Cleo its okay i so know that feeling. :0) i mailed something right donw the road to my old highschool just tues, and it still has not made it there yet. i should have just went drop them off.
farm fresh eggs. LOL. As I drove to meet her I could just see someone watching me waiting in my car. Suddenly another car approaches, I get out and hand her money. She hands me a bag and we both drive off. Illicit egg dealing.
Howdy bunnymonk. Hey, it is better than monkyface.
It is a sad song, but we are kind of a sad lot. Maybe we should be a Tribe Called Quest. That would fit. The Quest for comic excellence. I am stretching, I know. I am off on a short hike. BBS
Wolfangil is at a co-worker’s Bday party tonight so James and I are on our own! We’re going to order something out to eat and play some Halo. Haven’t figured out what to eat yet, but we’ll see. BBS
I’ve never thought of us as a sad lot–just yappy, with both ups and downs, never afraid to play around, or to share news, which multiplies the good things and divides the sad ones…
Bunnyface I did good. i was beautiful. This song fits how i feel perfectly. I did well I know where she is at. I only cried a couple of times. I miss her very much, but i know she is home now. Thank you lord for the peace in my heart.
Good evening!
I just got back from a long day’s work at Mom’s house. Guess what I found? Several 33s of Jim Croce and one of the Carpenters. I had thought I had sold them, and had kinda regretted it. Now I’ve got to find that record player Mom had, and play them!
BC13, Shika, & anyone else having problems with that pop-up… I was having that irritating pop-up several months ago, so I had my son install Firefox on my computer. I now use Firefox for my main browser, and only use IE for a few things that don’t work on Firefox. I haven’t had a problem with that pop-up ad since then, so maybe that’s a solution for you.
Dry, that is a convertible mini-van (people carrier as they call them in Britain, and possibly elsewhere in Europe). I was just watching a car show where they built it, and tested it in a car wash, among other things. It didn’t work.
Cleo Yes I know about farm fresh eggs, if the yolks are orange, they must be free range. A lady who has since reitred, and worked in a sister agency, raises them. And they were always good and the yolks always orange, and the eggs for the most part were bigger than extra large in the stores.
cleo, should I become JFriGT?? Yes, we have had some very nice weather this week! I took Cache to the dog park this afternoon (played a little hooky)!!
TABBY WAS JUST MADE THE HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE EVER! I GOT A PHONE CALL TELLING ME TO GO OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW, SO I WALK OUT AND THERE IS A TRUCK I KNOW IN MY FRONT YARD. WELL FRIEND J AND FRIEND L ARE CLIMBING OUT THE TRUCK AND SINGING HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I GOT 5 BALLONS AND ABOUT 13 GIFTS AND A CAKE! AND LOTS OF HUGS AND LOVE. I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN BEFORE. IT WAS AMAZING. I LOVE THOSE TWO LADIES! OH THE LOVE!!!
JFri it is great getting out isn’t it. I have been enjoying the sun. It still takes awhile for it to hit our yard and the mornings are cold, but boy it warms up fast when the sun hits our lawn. We live right in the foothills so the sun is late at hitting out place.
Tabby we could start a new tradition. We already have the 12 days of Christmas. I see no reason why we shouldn’t have the 12 days of Tabbyday. After all, most of us would like another holiday.
Hey Tabby, Cleo and Dry!Tabby, that was so nice of your friends to do that for you. Yea, early birthday treats!!! Daughter #3 will be 12 on the 24th and she got an early b-day present too. The Dad got her some red Converse high tops.
And I am dumb enough to stay up as late as I did last night, so with that I will say goodnight *Tabby, Carmy, and wherever you are Cleo. And just in case we have a Shika** move, goodnight girl!
Shane is on but I’m too tired to stay up, and it will be on again anyway sometime!
Carmy that was my 2nd one of the day. Dad had a bon fire going on and little miss Ana had to go see it so we got all smoke smelling so i need another one. lol
walking buddy had not seen Ana in a few weeks, we went over this evening to bring her something and Ana goes up to here and hugs her. Walking Buddy says “wow! you have gotten taller!” ana looks up at here and says “i know, but its okay baby” so serious also it was funny. and she walks away to go play with the dog. i have not seen her youngest since Christmas eve. :0( she thinks Ana has shot up in a couple of weeks imagin how big he will seem to me. she says hes talken now and everything. made me want to cry.
Tabby, I hope you get to see the youngest very soon. Ana is a funny girl. Have you heard Patsy Cline sing “Just a Closer Walk With Thee”? I can’t believe you had never heard “I Fall to Pieces.”
Hey Cleo!
I’m getting really tired. I’m hoping I can take a quick toon tour after the flip, then I will go a snoozin’.
carmy nope never heard that one either. going youtube it in a min. i hope i get to see him soon also. i miss my boys. im getting really tired as well i may be heading out soon as my nails dry and i hear that song.
Well, I don’t really like when they paint their nails, but they do every once in a while. The Dad doesn’t like them painting their nails too often either.
I moved to the comfy corner of the couch.
I think for my Dad its because it is something that catches peoples eyes. He calls the bright colors “hooker finger nail shades” LOL wow! He is funny sometimes. For me, it is just something that girls do and I am more of a tom boy then a girl. So I only paint them on special occaions or when I get a wild hair. :0)

cleokaya almost 15 years ago
JFri & Dry I left you both a comment and Bliss tied up in a neat little package.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I have Norton, so I knew right away it was a gimmic, but it seemed like the virus and Norton had a battle going, because that window DID NOT want to close.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
cleo ans. at Bliss!
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
Dry same problem I had/have with it. have to close down the tab and then reopen it to get rid of it. BC13 so far my anti virus is staying ahead of it, but i will be watching it carefully. cleo the avatar is a photo of my computer screen taken in a dark room with no flash while playing Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” and then editing to reverse the colours. i took a few pics, and this was the one i liked best, but a couple of others are a close second. still touring…
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Norton fought the virus, but the virus won - in my case.

I know it is the afternoon, but since I am having oatmeal for lunch, it may as well be morning.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Good morning Shikamoo There’s still 8 minutes left of morning where I’m at.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Yguy just looking at it from here, your avatar looks like a dust mop to me! :-D
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Can you guys give me those hours? My morning just frittered away.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Good Morning BC13. A virus trumped Norton on my last computer as well. I try to be extra careful who I have contact with, but if Go Comics is a culprit- I’m up a creek.
Did I mention I was a ‘Toon-aholic?
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Doc I hate to see the cold weather go, myself. And we didn’t get enough snow to suit me.
(Is Dry here? I’d better duck!)
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Duck Shika! Incoming!
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
Dry dustmop? DUSTMOP?? (actually i guess it does look a little like one. i thought of it more as a “ring of fire” myself.) hi Shika & bye Shika. time for me to get ready for work (past time, actually) so i will take my leave. see you when i see you (say it Dry.)
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Carmy My salty streaks look like highlights. The advantage to having blond (dark blonde) hair.:-)
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Not if I see you first, yguy!
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi yyyguy! I thought it was a flower. But I see it has a ray of light going through it, so it must be fire.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Pete doesn’t know what a big family he’s got.
I hope that he turns around.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Oh Dry did you send me some snow?
Thank you!!
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Shikamoo I’d like to know who here isn’t a toon-aholic. I think that (or those) person(s) might be a little out of place.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
BC13 You think so??
You are right. No need to confess anything here. We are all in the same boat.- Pirate’s boat! lol
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Off to tour Toonville.

GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Tabby Reminds me a lot of my younger days when both my sister and I almost got caught doing things we shouldn’t be doing when my parents got home, and we’re just sitting there like 2 perfect little angels…but they knew we were up to no good.
The Duke 1 almost 15 years ago
Oh, please, BC13!!! Like your NOT up to no good NOW?? SNERK!!!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
JFri that is like the cat calling the kettle black.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
JFri have you been getting all of this sunny, beautiful weather this week?
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Bc13 LOL oh we do the same. my little brother would jump up and hide the food he was eatting in the livingroom, like he was told NOT to do. lol and i would hide the sweets i was eatting in the kitchen somewheres. we still do that. its just bc we are told not to do so so we do. lol
Jfri and Cleo hello you two!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Hi Tabby.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
JFri Guilty, as charged. I always did have have the devil inside. Never been exorcised.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
It just dawned on me JFri, you’re a walking George Thorogood album, beginning with “One Bourbon, One Scotch & One Beer” then ending with “Bad To The Bone”.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Cleo LOL!
i have not heard “bad to the bone” in so so soo long. i was like 5 or 6 the last time i heard it. i used to sing that to my little hearts content along with “akey breaky heart” lol
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
the Tribe brings to mind many songs Tabby, including “Bring In The Clowns”.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Good Afternoon Tribe
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
i have never heard “Bring in the Clowns” it sounds like it would fit
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Cleo i feel better now. bad to the bone
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Cleo, I’ve heard of the song “Send in The Clowns” but not “Bring in The Clowns”.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Tabby that is it. I messed up the title. Clowns can’t get anything right.
Hello Terry.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
I am off to prune. Will check in.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago

GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Wasn’t that Send In then Clowns? And as fitting as it may be, I hated that song.
Thorogood on the other hand I loved. And also that Steppenwolf song Born To Be Wild.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Well that’s it for me. I am outa here.
I’ll see y’all in the funny papers tomorrow.

I’m going back to work. This was a quick break. Have a nice day Terry!
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Shika, Are Fridays a little more relaxed for you?
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Terry Friday generally is the one day I don’t have to go out. I just have my homework, as usual.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Do I seem more relaxed?
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Yes you do. It’s good to see/feel that after a hectic week.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
I just got back from a rendezvous with a woman…
I gave her money and she gave me….
farm fresh eggs. LOL. As I drove to meet her I could just see someone watching me waiting in my car. Suddenly another car approaches, I get out and hand her money. She hands me a bag and we both drive off. Illicit egg dealing.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
That does sound suspicious. LOL
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
back! again
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Wow, I missed the turnover. Hello Terry and Shika.

cleokaya almost 15 years ago
I am through pruning. Another dreaded task done. Booker’s for all and Dr. Pepper too. Can anybody tell that I am happy?
bmonk almost 15 years ago
Send in the Clowns–a rather sad song…
bmonk almost 15 years ago
It’s already been a long weekend, and it’s still Friday Afternoon…
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Howdy bunnymonk. Hey, it is better than monkyface.
It is a sad song, but we are kind of a sad lot. Maybe we should be a Tribe Called Quest. That would fit. The Quest for comic excellence. I am stretching, I know. I am off on a short hike. BBS
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Yes that IS a sad song, Buunyface(Bmonk)
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Cleo yea!! Dr. Pepper!!!! woo hoo! im happy too.
Hello Mr. Bunnyface
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Wolfangil is at a co-worker’s Bday party tonight so James and I are on our own! We’re going to order something out to eat and play some Halo. Haven’t figured out what to eat yet, but we’ll see. BBS
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
intresting song send in the clowns…. never heard it before now.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
I’ve never thought of us as a sad lot–just yappy, with both ups and downs, never afraid to play around, or to share news, which multiplies the good things and divides the sad ones…
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Bmonk well said!
food? im hungry.
just got the word Ana was being droped off over here bc she is being bad. funny shes being to bad for her mom so she is coming here.
bmonk almost 15 years ago
By the way, Tabby, how was the funeral? Are you ready to talk about it yet? (If not, we can wait.)
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Good evening all!
bmonk almost 15 years ago
@Tabby, I thought being bad was a reason to give the kid back to the mom (or dad), not a reason for the mom/dad to give the kid to someone else…
On the other hand, it shows the mother’s faith in you…
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Bunnyface I did good. i was beautiful. This song fits how i feel perfectly. I did well I know where she is at. I only cried a couple of times. I miss her very much, but i know she is home now. Thank you lord for the peace in my heart.

Good evening! I just got back from a long day’s work at Mom’s house. Guess what I found? Several 33s of Jim Croce and one of the Carpenters. I had thought I had sold them, and had kinda regretted it. Now I’ve got to find that record player Mom had, and play them!
bmonk almost 15 years ago
Nice song, Tabby!
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
bmonk that just shows she shouldnt have had another kid. sorry, but its true
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Bmonk yes it is. thanks. it made me feel better
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
We are not a sad lot bunnyface, but we are a bunch of clowns.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Ana does not like this song. :0(
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Tabby - I’ve heard that song (Homesick) before, but it is a great song.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
BC13, Shika, & anyone else having problems with that pop-up… I was having that irritating pop-up several months ago, so I had my son install Firefox on my computer. I now use Firefox for my main browser, and only use IE for a few things that don’t work on Firefox. I haven’t had a problem with that pop-up ad since then, so maybe that’s a solution for you.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Johnny, is that your set of wheels?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Tabby I love that song!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Rmom, overall my Norton does a REAL good job.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Yeah Cleo! Pruning is all done! I’m proud of you sir! Although we will have to do something about you and those black market eggs you buy! ;-D
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi bunnyface!
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Dry, that is a convertible mini-van (people carrier as they call them in Britain, and possibly elsewhere in Europe). I was just watching a car show where they built it, and tested it in a car wash, among other things. It didn’t work.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
johnnyd does that mean it is now a mobile hot tub?
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Dry farm fresh eggs are so good and the yolks are so orange. Yum.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Hello Doc, good to see you.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
I’m watching the basketball game & the Olympics. If I miss you Doc, have a good night tonight and I’ll catch you in the morning.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Dry what song the fire or homesick?
sorry i ran off i got busy again
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Cleo Yes I know about farm fresh eggs, if the yolks are orange, they must be free range. A lady who has since reitred, and worked in a sister agency, raises them. And they were always good and the yolks always orange, and the eggs for the most part were bigger than extra large in the stores.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Johnny that is interesting. And you mentioned car wash also, Cleo LOL!
Hi Doc!
The Duke 1 almost 15 years ago
cleo, should I become JFriGT?? Yes, we have had some very nice weather this week! I took Cache to the dog park this afternoon (played a little hooky)!!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago

Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Tabby Billy Joel, of course!
The Duke 1 almost 15 years ago
Hi, Dry, Tabby & cleo!
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Tabby, I am so sorry that you do not know how to express happiness and excitement. LOL
Heck, one might think you have a birthday sometime soon.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Dry you and Doc have been getting closer and closer to the avatar lens. Pretty soon I am only going to be able to see your kitty pupils.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
JFri it is great getting out isn’t it. I have been enjoying the sun. It still takes awhile for it to hit our yard and the mornings are cold, but boy it warms up fast when the sun hits our lawn. We live right in the foothills so the sun is late at hitting out place.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Cleo Just keeping an “eye” on things!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Yes, and a very pretty eye it is Dry.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Cleo i have no clue what your talking about.
Dry hey mom
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
And while you like to keep an eye on things I like to present a full moon.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Tabby, I rarely know what I am talking about either. It is a curse of the obtuse.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Tabby, I am glad that you had your friends surprise you. It is always nice to have a pleasant surprise.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Cleo i am still in shock its crazy. they are great! i was not waiting on that not at all.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Cleo Thank you sir!
Tabby are you excited? One would NEVER KNOW!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
A toast is in order Dry. Here’s looking at you, kid.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Dry its the best start to a bday ever
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Cleo Back at ‘ya! :-D
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Tabby we could start a new tradition. We already have the 12 days of Christmas. I see no reason why we shouldn’t have the 12 days of Tabbyday. After all, most of us would like another holiday.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
cleo hey sounds good to me. lol
but its only about 5 days till my bday
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
ice cream any one?
carmy almost 15 years ago
Hey Tabby, Cleo and Dry! Tabby, that was so nice of your friends to do that for you. Yea, early birthday treats!!! Daughter #3 will be 12 on the 24th and she got an early b-day present too. The Dad got her some red Converse high tops.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy i have not forgoten about daughter #3’s bday being on the same day as mine! she is sweet! i bet she was happy as could be.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Tabby, yes. she was very happy. I saw her birthday wish list, yikes! She thinks we won the lotto like the last birthday girl did also.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy lol i have no birthday wish list. i dont want anything, but my friends to be there.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
what does she want? if i may ask
carmy almost 15 years ago
That’s what I would want too, and that’s because we’re not 12 years old.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
LOL true. i have always found it hard to say what i wanted for my bday when i was asked. still do have trouble with it. bc i dont know what i want
carmy almost 15 years ago
I’m the same way.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy lol i must be your twin. :0D
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
movie is over im going hit the showers and ill bbs.
carmy almost 15 years ago
That might be true, Tabby. ;-)
carmy almost 15 years ago
Okay, I’ll be around. I already took my shower.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
And I am dumb enough to stay up as late as I did last night, so with that I will say goodnight *Tabby, Carmy, and wherever you are Cleo. And just in case we have a Shika** move, goodnight girl! Shane is on but I’m too tired to stay up, and it will be on again anyway sometime!
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy that was my 2nd one of the day. Dad had a bon fire going on and little miss Ana had to go see it so we got all smoke smelling so i need another one. lol
Dry sleep well. i love you
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
this was Mrs. Loraine’s favorite song. I like Patsy Cline and cant beleive i have never heard it before.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Goodnight Dry! Tabby, little miss Ana? hee hee.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Well, my movie ended. So hello
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy lol its funny huh?
walking buddy had not seen Ana in a few weeks, we went over this evening to bring her something and Ana goes up to here and hugs her. Walking Buddy says “wow! you have gotten taller!” ana looks up at here and says “i know, but its okay baby” so serious also it was funny. and she walks away to go play with the dog. i have not seen her youngest since Christmas eve. :0( she thinks Ana has shot up in a couple of weeks imagin how big he will seem to me. she says hes talken now and everything. made me want to cry.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Cleo what were you watching?
we watched, the invisible man, now you see me, now you dont.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
i am about to paint my nails for the first time in a while. lol just bc i got 4 new BRIGHT colors to choose from
carmy almost 15 years ago
Tabby, I hope you get to see the youngest very soon. Ana is a funny girl. Have you heard Patsy Cline sing “Just a Closer Walk With Thee”? I can’t believe you had never heard “I Fall to Pieces.” Hey Cleo! I’m getting really tired. I’m hoping I can take a quick toon tour after the flip, then I will go a snoozin’.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Tabby, my older girls paint their nails bright colors too. They have bright green and bright blue.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
carmy nope never heard that one either. going youtube it in a min. i hope i get to see him soon also. i miss my boys. im getting really tired as well i may be heading out soon as my nails dry and i hear that song.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Haha! carmy i just did mine bright green! and i got a bright blue tonight and pink and a light purple.
you have to be the coolest mom ever! my dad hates it and i hardly paint them bc i dont want to listen to him fuss
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
i found the song “just a closer walk with thee” it is lovely.
im going find one now that i think i will send to my pastor.
carmy almost 15 years ago
I’ll be back shortly. The laptop and I are moving over to somewhere more comfy.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy lol my laptop and I have moved to my bed. Comfy? well thats questionable. :0)
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
carmy almost 15 years ago
Well, I don’t really like when they paint their nails, but they do every once in a while. The Dad doesn’t like them painting their nails too often either. I moved to the comfy corner of the couch.
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
good for you comfy is best!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Dads always think like that and that because they love their girls. New comics are up!
tabbylynn almost 15 years ago
Carmy yep that has to be it
