TABBY I’d like to eat everything but I’d grow fat, er, fatter. Wait, virtual food equals virtual weigh gain. Virtual weigh reduces physical weight. Therefore, to lose weight I should eat more. I love cartoon physics.
Morning TRIBE! Be sure to pick up a copy of Lewreader”s Virtual Weight Loss, sold in better comic strips everywhere.
doct I hope she showed you some of her own generosity. tabby I forgot to thank you for the grits - they were yummy. It was fun to stop in on the weekend, but not sure I’ll be back again. Take care, everyone!!
No Problem, Doc. I was bushed last night and didn’t go shopping. My co-worker’s father died early Friday morning so I’m holding down the fort. My supervisor, who’s been helping me keep on top of stuff, got sick as well, so I slogged on as best I could.
I still had lots to do Friday but at 5:45 our boss ran us out. we were all there until 5:30, when our lone gentleman left…he had an appointment (date?). At 5:45 our boss called out for us to go home. I was so tired I said, I’m shitting down now…..and it took me 15 minutes to close everything down.
Anyway, I hope to have my desk back in my room sometime next weekend. This weekend I’m turning my bed around (to make room) and preparing spaces. And dashing out to the dragon early today, I have a piece I’m pushing to finish.
You should be nervous Doc! It is warming up and the snow is melting, but there is still SO much on the ground! And there is a HUGE thick solid piece of ice hanging from one of the rain gutters. It looks pretty, but I’m afraid of what may happen before it melts!
Morning, Tribe!
Congratulations, *Terry!
Welcome, Grandma!
I’m trying to hurry up & get laundry & my comics read before I lose power. We’re getting a mixture of rain & ice now, and probably more ice this evening. The freeze line is right around Wichita - north gets snow, south gets ice. I’m south. As much as I dislike snow, I really hate ice! At least with snow, there is less chance of losing our electricity & internet.
Cleo & Doc - Speaking as someone who is great at delegating work…(now if I could only get those people to do the work I assign…) Just don’t do the job up to the expected standards. This, of course, isn’t a good strategy for staying employed, but if you WANT to lose the job, this will usually keep you from being asked to do it again. This is the main reason I’m not having any male help at my mom’s right now. Us women will search through everything before we toss it in the trash, unlike the males in my family. We’re finding all sorts of interesting stuff in the process. Like brochures from the World Trade Center in NYC, saying on the front “The closest some of us will ever get to heaven.” Spooky!
Rmom as I think I may have mentioned I had to go through my parents house when my dad died. I had to go through everything because I would find money in cards they had received. It was an 8 week full time job. Good luck.
WHOO HOOO Just submitted my taxes. I should have my refunds in about 8 days. WHOO HOO
It’s a draggy day here, but I gotta put up the clothes, wash my hair and get over to the dragon. I heard a new shipment of beads has arrived, and I can put them on layaway!! How cool is that??
Rmom, concerning the quilt, does “Drunkard’s Path” ring a bell? Wolfangil finally remembered and says it’s a form of that. The block style still is a fan pattern, though.
Terry - “Drunkard’s Path” sounds right. I know it was just something my mom told me, so I don’t have anything written to verify. Mom used a lot of the fan block pattern - all the double wedding rings have it.
Doc do you have to wear a tie at work? When I was working in the state liquor stores, way back when, there was not bigger pain in the neck than wearing a tie when bringing in and putting away a shipment.
cleo - Clip-on or bow ties might be a better solution. I can’t say I see very many guys outside of the store manager wearing ties in grocery stores anymore.
since everyone seems to be leaving (and i won’t be long myself) i’ll keep this short. i’ll have ice cream - if there’s any left - for lunch (since i’m waaaay too late for breakfast).
welcome aboard to GrandmaT (i like the “T” on the end to show the connection to DocT but wonder what the rest of you think). i’m sure the rules have been explained, so i won’t belabor the point.
and congrats in advance to Terry on BB (i haven’t read it yet, but the comments would indicate that Thom has honored you, so…) oh, and ‘good luck’ on your pool playing.
tour time!
Good afternoon cleo
I was in the Strand area. I didn’t really notice any dying oaks. I noticed the palm trees lining the blvd. were doing alright. A couple buildings boarded up, but it looked like the whole area I was in was open for business.
For the moment though, there’s even free parking until they get the meters fixed - then it’s rumored they’ll increase the price.
I actually bought the painting that I was looking at. Rainbow Row, Charleston, an impressionist piece.
hi cleo & BC13
the bourbon baked beans sound pretty good, cleo though i usually eat mine baked with molasses.
BC13 i had another attack by the spam malware thing again before i even had a chance to post, today, but i figure there’s no sense griping constantly. so far, it’s just an invitation to disaster that i won’t accept. the pain in the neck is having to close down and start up again when it pops up.
still touring, but getting near the end.
Speaking of dinner, I better start getting mine on. It’ll take a bit to bring it up to boil and then another 3 hours to simmer.
But the bourbon baked beans do sound good. It’s making me hungry right now. Oh, and I’m cooking up corned beef and cabage for tonight. I’m gearing up a little early for St. Patrick’s day.
Corned beef and cabbage sounds good, I haven’t had it in a long time.
We have a friend coming over to dinner tonight. I am making a potato and wild mushroom gratin with gruyere and my wife is going to make sausages with red peppers and onions.
If I heard what everyone was having for dinner tonight I’d probably want to try a little of everything. As it is I can’t wait another 3 weeks for the corned beef.
At the moment I’ve got the Great Escape DVD on. They’re on the scene with the home-made hooch on the ‘4th of July.
i’ll be having shepherds’ pie. i don’t really cook, so i try to keep things as simple as possible. often i just take something storebought as ready to eat (like soup or chili) and then add a few additional items and some spices to make it my own.
yyyguy
For some reason that makes me think of steak & kidney pie. The last time I had that was in an Elephant & Castle in Edmonton. But I don’t think I could make it myself.
On the other hand maybe I can. During the Christmas Holidays I made a French Canadian meat pie from scratch. It was pretty good, too.
BC13 they’re very similar. instead of having a crust of some sort surrounding your filling, just cover the top of it with mashed potatoes. that’s essentially the difference.
I love Tourtiere. We had it this last Christmas Eve and do it guiet often then. I used to spend my winters in Southern Texas. There are a lot of Quebec visiters and they would make it each year.
One thing from Montreal I wish I could make on my own is the smoked meat sandwich. Pastrami and corned beef are ok, but don’t quite cut it. I miss the smoked meat from Reubins Deli.
cleo
I didn’t think you’d be familiar with it, but then again if you did time in Manitoba I suppose you would be. There’s a fair French community there, too, as I understand it.
I’m more inclined to add onion and potato. I think adding carrot along with the cabage might be a little more fiber than I can handle - but I might try it some time
Dry beef, some carrots, i remember tossing in some of the frozen deluxe mixed veggies (cauliflower, brocolli, baby corn). it’ smells great [please don’t drool on the keypad] and, yes, mashed taters on top.
Yyyguy- I like either WhyGuy or UncleWhy the best……..but will call you whatever you prefer. I call my nephew Why.
I am so not good at staying on task! This is not what I should be doing. I must go make cookies so they will actually be there when I say…….No Cookie For Me!
BC13 i used to buy “Montreal smoked meat” from deli counters locally until a friend brought me back some from Montreal one time (along with some Montreal bagels). it was absolute heaven, and put the local stuff to such shame i rarely even try it any longer (though i do still eat local bagels).
LuvH8 you can call me what ever your little heart desires (as long as i can recognize myself in the name - else you might think i’m ignoring you when i just don’t realize it’s me you’re speaking to).
Yguy I put peas in mine too, and make a thick gravy.
BC13 oh I forgot, yes I put potatoes in mine also, and I don’t always use carrots. I see I typed too fast and misspelled “corned” but I have too many bolds in there to bother to go back and fix it! :-)
Thanks, Lonewolf
On week-ends I usually will wake up in time for the mid-night posts. Instead I woke up around 3AM - made a few posts and off to bed again. Then it ways a day of errands including a quick stop in Galveston to pick up that Kinkade painting. I’ll attach a link if I can find one.
sounds like we’re about to get yappy again! finished the stumper in 19:48 (yay me! as Tabby would say).
hi to Shika, Terry (congrats in person, man, for BB) & Saucy. and i think i missed “Hi Quaby” earlier.
by the way, the strip [remember the strip? it’s just above] reminds me of what i think some of our “parties” might look like. either that or one of the breakfast runs when Carmy drives!
seems that way Shika. my viewing times have been all over the map the last month or so. this week i spent 3 days without even finding time to go online at all. haven’t found any time to finish the album i started on photo bucket, or to view any of Rmom’s recent additions to her albums there. i agree with you about DocT’s avatar. very photogenic. any how, 1 more crossword site to visit…
bye Shika
(wow! i just realized my “won’t be here long” statement was a whole page and 2 hours ago. but i definitely won’t be much longer - the shepherds’ pie is almost ready.)
shameless plug! shameless plug!
but it’s all right, because it’s Chief Thom Thom
and since my “brief” time is up, i will say sayonara. does anyone care about Canada vs. USA in Olympic Hockey (mens version) tomorrow night?
Shika move to say that, although i’m cheering for Canada through thick and thin, i thought that the Russians might actually have a better chance of winning the gold medal this time around. (before they lost to Slovakia, that is. now???) it’s going to be fun, and i can’t wait to see how the women’s team does against USA either.
my facebook avatar is a mock up of the back of an olympic sweater with my name and number on it. i’ll have to see if i can save it to use here. now gone for sure!
bye Tribe
Congrats to Lonewolf. I just reread all my comments and see that I forgot to mention that. Sorry for being so late but it couldn’t happen to a nicer friend. Who’s next, I wonder?
Everyone has been talking about such good food that now I’m hungry. I’ll have to go see what I can find that looks good.
Well I’m happy to say my corned beef is coming along nicely and I’ve just started the cabbage, taters and onions up. I better go and keep a closer I on them. I don’t want them boiling over (like I did with the corned beef). When I’m close to serving, I like to drain the water and saute in a little butter.
I’ll try to drop in again later tonight or early in the AM
back again, had to check on something and couldn’t resist a quick drop in. want to assure Dry that the ”BALL OF FIRE” (‘dust mop’ indeed) will be back, probably once the Olympics are over.
btw. it’s a number zero to signify there is none better! (i mean if you’re going to love your country, you’ve got to go all the way, right?) the other part of the explanation is i get tired of folks who always say “we’re #1” about everything, so i’m going one better. [either that or i’m ready for blast off!]
See ya later Doc.
Dry, I need to be on stage singing Saturday Night? I think I’d get stage fright.
Actually, I’m going to head out too.
Peace and love all!
So grandma t do you walk on your tippy toes or do you keep everyone on theirs? I walk on my toes and front pads when I am bare foot (much of the time) and because of that have developed pretty good calf muscles. Why I do it, I don’t know, I just find it comfortable.
bc13,thanks for the link! I love Thomas Kinkade! I never thought to look for him on the web. I cant afford to buy his paintings but I do have a Bible illustrated by him and a devotional.
grandmatippytoes I have seen his devotional artwork. My mom loved it. She only ever bought his calendars, but I still have some of them, because she kept them all!
lonewolf, cleo, luvh8, shika, all the names I dont remember yet , Thank you.
all the food makes my fat tummy growl. I make my baked beans the easy way with Bushs canned baked beans, add barbecue sauce and canned chunk pineapple and bake about 30m. My mom made home made with molasses n brown sugar but bourbon sounds good. I really love home style baked beans
gotta go eat now. c u l8r
Well Ill try to keep him in line. Never been much for tippy toes, but I remember family calling me that as a tease. dont no where it comes from. Maybe one of you no it. I was old when I was a kid.
Just checked in to see if anyone was still around, but I don’t think so. To those who liked the link to Kinkade I say glad you liked it and glad to be of service.
To LuvH8 (and Lonewolf) I say you can bank on it.
To Dry I say there are plenty of left-overs, but just wait until Saint Patricks Day. There’ll be Corned Beef and Cabage, Irish lamb stew and Irish coffee.
Lonewolf of course it was Life, but I momentarily lost that brain cell. Thanks!
Now, I’m going to try to catch a little shut-eye. Maybe I’ll be talking to y’all in the midnight hour.
UncleWhy - I like this avatar better, the other one was nice (really nice actually) but it was so calm I kept accidently passing you by…..and not realizing it until it was too late.
Yes, another day come and gone. I’m going to stay for the turnover, catch a bit of the toon tour and then get ready for the horizontal position. I need to be up early as James is singing in the choir at church these days. But it is so nice.

But the bourbon baked beans do sound good. It’s making me hungry right now. Oh, and I’m cooking up corned beef and cabage for tonight. I’m gearing up a little early for St. Patrick’s day.
Be back in a bit.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Corned beef and cabbage sounds good, I haven’t had it in a long time.
We have a friend coming over to dinner tonight. I am making a potato and wild mushroom gratin with gruyere and my wife is going to make sausages with red peppers and onions.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
If I heard what everyone was having for dinner tonight I’d probably want to try a little of everything. As it is I can’t wait another 3 weeks for the corned beef.
At the moment I’ve got the Great Escape DVD on. They’re on the scene with the home-made hooch on the ‘4th of July.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
i’ll be having shepherds’ pie. i don’t really cook, so i try to keep things as simple as possible. often i just take something storebought as ready to eat (like soup or chili) and then add a few additional items and some spices to make it my own.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
yyyguy For some reason that makes me think of steak & kidney pie. The last time I had that was in an Elephant & Castle in Edmonton. But I don’t think I could make it myself.
On the other hand maybe I can. During the Christmas Holidays I made a French Canadian meat pie from scratch. It was pretty good, too.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
BC13 they’re very similar. instead of having a crust of some sort surrounding your filling, just cover the top of it with mashed potatoes. that’s essentially the difference.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
I love Tourtiere. We had it this last Christmas Eve and do it guiet often then. I used to spend my winters in Southern Texas. There are a lot of Quebec visiters and they would make it each year.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
One thing from Montreal I wish I could make on my own is the smoked meat sandwich. Pastrami and corned beef are ok, but don’t quite cut it. I miss the smoked meat from Reubins Deli.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
cleo I didn’t think you’d be familiar with it, but then again if you did time in Manitoba I suppose you would be. There’s a fair French community there, too, as I understand it.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi BC13, yguy and Cleo! Just stopped in but you guys are making me hungry.
yguy shephards pie as in mashed potatoes being the crust? Made with lamb, venison, or beef?
BC13 croned beef and cabbage, yum? Do you add onions and carrots sometimes?
Cleo as always, your meal sounds delicious too!
NO FAIR! NOW I”M STARVING!
And the Great Escape is one of my “favoritest” movies of all time!
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I haven’t run into any French Canadians here or during the time I spent in Dallas - but Cajuns, yes. I work with one.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi, Dry.
I’m more inclined to add onion and potato. I think adding carrot along with the cabage might be a little more fiber than I can handle - but I might try it some time
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I hope you don’t mind. I’m used to the name Gramma.
You can keep an eye on Doc for us. Make sure he doesn’t catapult anymore snow. Especially Dry.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Dry I might also add that you’re not the only one who’s hungry, but I’ve got my stash of Jalapeno fritos handy to keep me going for the moment.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
Dry beef, some carrots, i remember tossing in some of the frozen deluxe mixed veggies (cauliflower, brocolli, baby corn). it’ smells great [please don’t drool on the keypad] and, yes, mashed taters on top.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Actually as a kid, my grandma made a finish meat pie that was very similar to tourtiere.
Ooops! Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Yyyguy- I like either WhyGuy or UncleWhy the best……..but will call you whatever you prefer. I call my nephew Why.
I am so not good at staying on task! This is not what I should be doing. I must go make cookies so they will actually be there when I say…….No Cookie For Me!
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
BC13 i used to buy “Montreal smoked meat” from deli counters locally until a friend brought me back some from Montreal one time (along with some Montreal bagels). it was absolute heaven, and put the local stuff to such shame i rarely even try it any longer (though i do still eat local bagels).
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
LuvH8 you can call me what ever your little heart desires (as long as i can recognize myself in the name - else you might think i’m ignoring you when i just don’t realize it’s me you’re speaking to).
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
time for my Saturday Stumper (crossword puzzle) so i won’t see anything for about 20 minutes or so. bbs.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Yguy I put peas in mine too, and make a thick gravy.
BC13 oh I forgot, yes I put potatoes in mine also, and I don’t always use carrots. I see I typed too fast and misspelled “corned” but I have too many bolds in there to bother to go back and fix it! :-)
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Dry LOL. I know what you mean. If it were anywhere else but here, I’d fix it or have JAD call me an idiot.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Hi Tribe!
Back from pool early today. We won most quickly and I didn’t stay afterwards as I usually do. The stomach is not doing so well today. :^(
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Hello Yguy, BC13, Shika & anyone else I might have missed earlier!
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi Loneowolf I hope our food talk we’ve gotten into won’t further upset your stomach.

Good afternoon, tribe.
Love that HOT NOW, sign Quaby, but must resist.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi Terry Congratulations! Neat tribute.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
BC13, now that I am home, it will settle down I’ sure. Good to see you man!

Good afternoon Saucy!
Hi Shika! Thank you so much!

Hi **Quaby, Saucy, Serena, LuvH8, Doc, yyyguy, Drycleo and BC13”” That’s just this page.
Hi to everyone else too!
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Thanks, Lonewolf On week-ends I usually will wake up in time for the mid-night posts. Instead I woke up around 3AM - made a few posts and off to bed again. Then it ways a day of errands including a quick stop in Galveston to pick up that Kinkade painting. I’ll attach a link if I can find one.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Doc, if you catch this when you wake up, I left you a response at “Zack Hill”.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
sounds like we’re about to get yappy again! finished the stumper in 19:48 (yay me! as Tabby would say). hi to Shika, Terry (congrats in person, man, for BB) & Saucy. and i think i missed “Hi Quaby” earlier.
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I like your blue-eyed cat Doc! We had one like that called Snowball. (Honestly!)
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Mua has blue-green eyes. Very pretty too.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
by the way, the strip [remember the strip? it’s just above] reminds me of what i think some of our “parties” might look like. either that or one of the breakfast runs when Carmy drives!
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Hi yyyguy Not too often we are on at the same time!
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
More like a breakfast run yyyguy, although a party would look like that too!
I’m the one “wreathed” in smiles. :-D

seems that way Shika. my viewing times have been all over the map the last month or so. this week i spent 3 days without even finding time to go online at all. haven’t found any time to finish the album i started on photo bucket, or to view any of Rmom’s recent additions to her albums there. i agree with you about DocT’s avatar. very photogenic. any how, 1 more crossword site to visit…

Hi Shikamoo and Saucy1121
Shikamoo Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I’m off to do some homey things (like cook, eat, shower) and then start writing my paper. Expect a late night post from me, if at all.
(Or early morning.)
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
BC13 let me second the thanks for the link. a lovely picture, indeed.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Take care Shika! And thanks again.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
bye Shika (wow! i just realized my “won’t be here long” statement was a whole page and 2 hours ago. but i definitely won’t be much longer - the shepherds’ pie is almost ready.)
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Thanks yyyguy, shikamoo and Lonewolf
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I can’t keep up with all the posts.
Bye, Shikamoo
Enjoy yyyguy. I know I will enjoy my corned beef when it’s finally ready.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
BC13, check out the strip “Birdbrains”. You might like it.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
shameless plug! shameless plug! but it’s all right, because it’s Chief Thom Thom and since my “brief” time is up, i will say sayonara. does anyone care about Canada vs. USA in Olympic Hockey (mens version) tomorrow night?
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Heh, heh, Yguy. I know how it sounds, but the strip is good everyday, not just today. I’m so glad to be part of it.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago

GO CANADA!!!COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Canada is favourites in hockey, but I hope the USA pulls it out!
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
Shika move to say that, although i’m cheering for Canada through thick and thin, i thought that the Russians might actually have a better chance of winning the gold medal this time around. (before they lost to Slovakia, that is. now???) it’s going to be fun, and i can’t wait to see how the women’s team does against USA either. my facebook avatar is a mock up of the back of an olympic sweater with my name and number on it. i’ll have to see if i can save it to use here. now gone for sure! bye Tribe
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Have a good evening, Yguy.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
avatar change worked. how’s that for wearing your heart on your sleeve, so to speak.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Cool, Yguy!

Lonewolf See my comment on BB. If this is as good on a daily basis as you say, I’ll have to add it to my list of linked comics,
serenasakitty almost 15 years ago
I can’t keep up to all the comments either.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Thank you very much Serena. I feel the same way with you! :^)
BC13 From what I’ve seen of your posts, I really think you will enjoy the strip on a daily basis.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Well I’m happy to say my corned beef is coming along nicely and I’ve just started the cabbage, taters and onions up. I better go and keep a closer I on them. I don’t want them boiling over (like I did with the corned beef). When I’m close to serving, I like to drain the water and saute in a little butter.
I’ll try to drop in again later tonight or early in the AM
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
My computer’s upstairs and my kitchen is obviously downstairs.

johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Good evening all! Out of work, now, and wondering how best to spend the rest of the night.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
I am back, that wild mushroom dish took forever. Lots of slicing. It now cooks for an hour and a half.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
johnny, a Saturday night, you are young, why of course you will choose to spend it with us. LOL
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Hey Doc, I get a kick out of your avatar. The expression is like, “I’m in disbelief, I can’t believe you said that.”
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Cleo have you already added the mushrooms? Are you baking the dish in the oven?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Johnny you need to be there doing this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhdwvx_qcAg
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Yes Dry. It bakes for an hour and then I add more grated gruyere and parmesan and bake another 30 to 45 minutes.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Yes some of the comments are pretty out there all right. Of course we here are so superior, LOL.
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Well, first up I need to go collect some belongings that I left at a friends house last night. It is possible that I had too much fun last night.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
back again, had to check on something and couldn’t resist a quick drop in. want to assure Dry that the ”BALL OF FIRE” (‘dust mop’ indeed) will be back, probably once the Olympics are over.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
DocT fun is definitely what counts here, and JDoc? it is not possible to have “too much” fun. enjoy the rest of your evening folks.
yyyguy almost 15 years ago
btw. it’s a number zero to signify there is none better! (i mean if you’re going to love your country, you’ve got to go all the way, right?) the other part of the explanation is i get tired of folks who always say “we’re #1” about everything, so i’m going one better. [either that or i’m ready for blast off!]
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
Yyyguy, I didn’t mean that, I meant I drank too much, and did something stupid. Cleo, it is just my bag back. My stupid deed wasn’t that stupid.
johnnydoc5 almost 15 years ago
See ya later Doc. Dry, I need to be on stage singing Saturday Night? I think I’d get stage fright. Actually, I’m going to head out too. Peace and love all!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Johnny No, just out on a Saturday night having some fun! Do it while your young! LOL!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Yguy It still looks like a dust mop to me! Know why? Because my mom had one that color when I was growing up! :-D
grandmatippytoes almost 15 years ago
hello tribe Thanks for the welcome.
Dry, consider Doc walloped but are you sure you want me to? He does seem to enjoy a little too much.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
So grandma t do you walk on your tippy toes or do you keep everyone on theirs? I walk on my toes and front pads when I am bare foot (much of the time) and because of that have developed pretty good calf muscles. Why I do it, I don’t know, I just find it comfortable.
Ooops! Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Okay, no time to stay but:
Lonewolf - Shameless plug away, Today Just Be Happy!
BC13 - You Will Read Birdbrains Daily!!!! (I think your comments would be a fun addition to the strip.)

bc13,thanks for the link! I love Thomas Kinkade! I never thought to look for him on the web. I cant afford to buy his paintings but I do have a Bible illustrated by him and a devotional.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
grandmatippytoes I have seen his devotional artwork. My mom loved it. She only ever bought his calendars, but I still have some of them, because she kept them all!
grandmatippytoes almost 15 years ago
lonewolf, cleo, luvh8, shika, all the names I dont remember yet , Thank you.
all the food makes my fat tummy growl. I make my baked beans the easy way with Bushs canned baked beans, add barbecue sauce and canned chunk pineapple and bake about 30m. My mom made home made with molasses n brown sugar but bourbon sounds good. I really love home style baked beans gotta go eat now. c u l8r
