Carmy I SLAVED AND SLAVED IN THIS bleeep CIRCUS TENT TO GET BREAKFAST READY! THE ONLY WAY ANYONE LEAVES HERE TONIGHT/THIS MORNING, IS IF THEY CAN GET PAST THE FIVE MACHETES YOU LOANED TO ME, GIRL!
Now that I think about it, it wasa very sweet lady who at the time was beating up on about 4 Pinata’s at one time, yelling something in Spanish and wailing around the same type of machete I am in possession of!
Hi Dry , Carmy, Marqueritem just dropped in to c whats 4 breakfast. It sounds delicious Dry but can I plz have my eggs ovr medium and Jimmy Dean Sausage and 2 pancakes? Oh and gtta have fruit salad. Thank you Dry
The chef is leaving the tent! All ye who enter, everything is on the heated buffet table. Just in case Doc shows up, make sure he doesn’t go near the big white square thing in the kitchen of which he has no knowledge of! And I don’t mean the refrigerator! ROFLMAO!
Another sunny day in the PNW, although a wee bit chilly to start with. Doc, I can just picture you and GrandmaT sitting in separate rooms both hunkered over the computer here at Big Top.
Oh! Sorry about that you can watch Star Trek and have cookies if you want. We keep cross posting I didn’t realize you had sacrificed yourself for me. Thank you! You are very kind!
cleo, yes, weatherwise and otherwise! It is a great weekend! I was cruising around town with the windows down and the Beach Boys blaring on the CD yesterday.
James & I are heavily outnumbered between Wolfangil’s family and mine as the rest of the men have passed on. It’s six against two here! But we have fun with it.
I’m not sure Lonewolf. It’s not showing up in my guide. NBC’s coverage appears to be on skating and bobsled. I have no doubt they’ll be seeing the hockey game in Canada.
Doc, I understand that. But for the big picture, I’d rather have the days off. I was always able to get more errands done during the day. Besides, you can tape anything you want now a days!
Terry, I think that we are going to hike down to Clayton Beach today. It has been gorgeous this week and once the morning chill is gone it is quite pleasant outdoors.
Terry there are some stunning hikes up in the area of those two mountains as well, where you can walk in flowered meadows on the top of mountain ridges and plenty of alpine likes to skinny dip in.
Doc T This morning I was right behind you on some of the comics and just felt like saying:
I agree with Doc T, he is a doctor after all!
I did it a couple of times, it might be fun to just follow you one day and do that. I stopped doing the comics because I was starting to be an example again.
BTW I would like to watch Curling(?) just to check it out if someone lets me know when it is going to be on I would like that.
The Mount Baker Ski Area has a natural half pipe and we just had the legendary banked slalom which brings the world’s best competitors. The classic “Call Of The Wild” with Clark Gable and Loretta Young was filmed there.
Cleo, Sounds like a lot of fun. I have always liked taking hikes in areas similar to your description. Some that have bicycle trails are enjoyable also as long as they are not too high. Puff, puff.
Okay, I be careful. I think I only said it maybe 3 times anyway. Gee I wish they would make that list of acceptable and unacceptable GoComics behavior clear and easily available because I just can’t figure it out on my own.
Have a good one Doctor Toon. Now that my movie’s over and I’m done with my bleeep, I think I might take a nap once I’ve reviewed the comments thus far.
im a away from the computer…. the fun at this time. till i am finished my essay that i have not started yet. i shall return some time, if it dosent kill me first.
The Russia/Czech hockey game is on now. The USA/Canada game is on at 6:40PM. I went to the Official 2010 Olympic site. Should have done that in the first place!
Hi, Terry!
If we had a TV that would receive, we might watch some of the Olympics, but I’m not rushing out to buy a flat screen just for that reason. Is the Summer Olympics this year? What month?
Carmy I love thunderstorms, guess I said that earlier. This time of year, the 40’s is very nice. Still a lot of snow on the ground, but it’s melting, in time for the next batch.
Carmy - I looked out my kitchen window this morning, and am just sure I am seeing buds on one of our maple trees. I think the redbud is also starting, but was harder to tell from that angle. Usually the blossoms on the redbud tree is the first sign of spring I see around here. I think I did see a robin yesterday, but we have birds all year long, and I didn’t get a real good look at it.
Rmom the summer Olympics are not for another 2 years.
I just came in from sitting in the yard reading a book. I am in that phase I have every so often when I can not brin myself to read, so it felt good to be reading again.
The book that I’ve been reading is the Bible. I get Reader’s Digest and Good Housekeeping, so I read those too. I don’t think I can squeeze any extra reading in.
My favorite magazine is called “The Week” and I look forward to each Friday or Saturday for it’s arrival. Since we discovered it we have turned so many people on to it that it has been awesome just how many of our friends have gotten subscriptions to it.
Cleo, I went and saw her comment on 2 Cows, she told Joe to get a life, hee hee! I guess that might be because he is always harping on how the Cows are not anatomically correct, etc.
Hi everyone just drpped in for a minute. too tired to hangout and Im not quite the SOCIAL BUTTERFLY Doc T is. I love to read, usually novels by Kay Hooper, Patrica Cornwall, James Patterson , DEAN koontz occasionally, etc n so on.. Too tired to stay awake, couldnt sleep at all last nite or 2d. I always have trouble sleeping but had to take pain meds [2 protect myself against Doc T] LOL meds make it hard 2 sleep. Maybe Ill catch you 2m. Wild Cheetah makin baked mac n cheese. yum. Have a wonderful wk and God Bless
I posted over there as well. I love that strip! I don’t mind Joe,. yes, he gets mean sometimes, but he is also very infomative and at times, quite humorous. And Doc’s philosophy is Peace and Love, right? We have others worse than Joe, but for some reason, he has become a target.
You’re right, Dry! Some people complain that Joe rambles, but I’ve seen some ramble and babble nonsense to no end and no one complains about that. What’s up with that?
Doc, I don’t think he’s “playing the victim.” He’s a lot older than some of us and he’s just from those times when people actually respected their elders and the elders were entitled to that respect. Sadly, there’s not much respect around these days.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has sat with an older relative that just kept blab, blab, blabbing. Did we tell this person to shut up? No, we politely listened and we didn’t make fun of them (well, maybe not in front of them).
Thanks for the info, Cleo. You know this household doesn’t follow sports. However, we do enjoy watching many of the Olympic performances. Guess I’ve got plenty of time to buy a flat screen before the Summer Olympics.
Gee, sorry I missed all that. I was taking out the garbage, literally! I have to agree with Carmy. As I have gotten older (gag) I have come to try really hard to look at things from another person’s perspective. I do try to walk in someone else’s shoes, sometimes it comes to where you can’t take it anymore and walk away. And I don’t really think Joe is as bad as Mark Trail or Wuz Two.
If it’s like my house, I have this vision of grandmatippietoes being on the computer, she leaves, and Doc is waiting in the rafters to jump on as soon as she leaves! :-D
Thanks, Terry! Maybe they’ll come down some more in price by then. Although, I am thinking of getting one this year, just to help make space for some of the furniture from Mom’s house.
BC13, I started reading 2 Cows & a Chicken as soon as I noticed an ad from gocomics promoting it. That was some time ago, I have yet to go back to the beginning and read it from the start. When I began reading it, they were already on the their adventure. I did see where they buried the gold too.
BC13 you should keep reading 2 Cows. It is a hoot! You can go back and play catch up, if you have time! I love it! My favorites on here are Big Top, Overboard, CItiazen Dog, Red & Rover, Little Dog Lost, and of course 2 Cows. There are others, but I check those first thing with my coffee, usually makes me rush to get ready for work! LOL!
Who said I was addicted, who? :-D
Back again you happy toonsters. I was trying to explain you all to a friend on the phone today and nothing I tried seemed helpful. I think you have to experience something like this to understand it.
I have loved comic strips since I was old enough to hold the Sunday Paper. That’s where I got started! Couldn’t read much back then, but I liked the pictures!
Terry - No problem. I would have done more, but I need to hang them on a different wall so I can step back further. I also decided to mend & wash the navy blue double wedding ring quilt before I put it away. They are uploading now.
If I still had my Silly Putty Carmy it would still be pristine and so would the egg. Do you recall how I still have my matchbox toys and their pristine original boxes, plus I played with them on a regular basis. I am still that way. If I get a scratch on something it ruins my day.
Terry - I’ve got the latest photos posted. If Wolfangil knows the name of the pattern with the title “unknown artist”, I’d appreciate it. I’ll have to take a better picture of the navy quilt later - after I rearrange some furniture.
Terry & Wolfangil - I forgot to write down the name of the pattern for the one on the bed. Was it “Drunkard’s Path”?
This getting old and forgetful is the pits!
Dry & Carmy
When I first started coming to gocomics, comics.com and seattlepi it was to get all the favorites I used to get for years and years and ended up missing from my local paper in Montreal. The reason I started coming to this site in particular was for Calvin & Hobbes (even though I knew it was classic C&H, I needed my fix.). The other sites had all the others I needed. The numbers has grown considerably since
If I keep this up, I could be reading as many comics as Doctor Toon. But thanks to all of you, I am picking up on some good ones.
Lonewolf
I know some disappointed friends back home who take their hockey very seriously. But I, too, just see it as a good game that I’m not sure Canada can recover from.
Doc, this is for when you catch up later. I’m guessing my Mom is about Joe’s age and with that in mind, I can see how he is sometimes stating the obvious. Also, I know my Mom is very intelligent and if someone tries to say otherwise, her cackles will rise up too because it’s insulting. People from that generation are a lot closer to the senility age than we are. It hurts their feelings if we insinuate that they are already there and they will defend themselves, even though they shouldn’t have too.
No problem Rmom, she enjoys it so much. She said to tell you that you’re welcome.
My mother is the one into crochet, but at her age she doesn’t really do it anymore. I think she wishes her hands moved well enough to do it, though. :^(
Carmy
The Web has opened all our eyes to more than just what’s in our local papers. I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much time on my computer. But to put a spin on an Alice Cooper song ”I want to be addicted!”
BC13, My first foray into internet comics was to look for Redeye, Tumbleweeds, and The Born Loser, which our local paper dropped! Well, it exploded from there! LOL!
Dry
And I never heard of them until you brought it up. It’s funny how regional the papers can be. I noticed this the moment I moved to Edmonton. And then again when I moved to Dallas. By the time I moved to the Houston area, I struck gold on the web and didn’t even bother with the local paper.
Lonewolf
Montreal
The comics I saw on a daily basis that I loved were Hi & Lois, Beetle Bailey (I love Mort Walker), C&H, B.C., Broom Hilda, Adam @ Home, Wizard of Id, Hagar the Horible and Dilbert.
BC13
When I was younger and played hockey in high school, I always wanted to go to Montreal and see a hockey game. Back then all the players in my high school thought that was the most exciting place for hockey!
It was Lonewolf. Been there and done that a few times and been to many Expo games (I was big on baseball)
A few years ago, I had to return home from Dallas to do an audit on a business the company was planning on acquiring. It was also a good chance to get back home to visit friends & family. The trip was in February and I spent the direct flight with a bunch of hyper kids going to my home town to play in a hockey tournament. My luck had me taking a return trip with the losers.
Lonewolf
If you do, let me know and I will give you a couple eateries to check out (don’t know if you’ve been reading any comments with *yyyguy), but I’ve got some favorite foods and favorite places (aside from the Bell Center and the Big Owe). Maybe I can get you in touch with a very good buddy of mine still living in the area.
BC13 I spent one evening and night in Montreal when I was 12. My aunt, mom, my aunt’s kids/my cousins and myself went on vacation. My aunt was the driver, we had a whirl wind tour! LOL! From there we went to Quebec City for a day and then on to Maine, spent the night in a little teeny tiny town surrounded by a forest, went through New England. My aunt LOVED the Kennedy’s. Most of our time was spent on Cape Cod! But when you’re 12, hey, it was an ADVENTURE! In more ways than one! And my dad had a fit because we went at all! LOL!
*Yeah, but with my aunt, at least I saw something besides a continuous blur of, “What was that? Where are we now? Wasn’t that the Canadian border? Are we in New Hampshire now? ROFLMAO!
You had to be there, but we had FUN!
BC13which reminds me of the Frasier episode where he, his dad, Niles, Daphne and Eddie drive into Canada in the motor home! I think that was one of their best episodes, and I LOVED FRASIER!
Shikamoo
See my commentary earlier today with LuvH8
I may as well stay up another hour and do the mid-night hour rounds.
Dry
I saw that episode 2, but like that ‘70’s show, they seemed to have the check-points all wrong for the sake of the story. When you’re going to Canada you see Canadian Customs and when you’re going to the States you see U.S. customs. It would appear the writers never go anywhere on the other side of the border.
okay all good night. ill catch you all latter. i am so tired its crazy.
crazy fact of the day… two of my “moms” that i have addopted have kids who have bdays the same day as mine. funny. so i have a “brother” who is a few years older and a “sis” who is a few years younger who all share the same day. :0)
There was one thing I neglected to mention about my Galveston trip was that on the way to The Strand, I noticed that a brick building was demolished that I do not recall seeing the last time I was there during the holidays. I do not know what it was but I guess it doesn’t matter any more.

Have a good one Doctor Toon. Now that my movie’s over and I’m done with my bleeep, I think I might take a nap once I’ve reviewed the comments thus far.

The Russia/Czech hockey game is on now. The USA/Canada game is on at 6:40PM. I went to the Official 2010 Olympic site. Should have done that in the first place!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Both hockey games should be quite exciting if they play out as expected.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
So far the Russia/Czech game is end to end action. It is exciting so far.

Happy Sunday, tribe.
Is it me or do weekends seem to go faster than ever?
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Saucy hello. For me it’s not just the weekends. It seems as if I am rapidly speeding towards old age.
I am off for a bike ride.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
BOY, everybody must be enjoying the Olympics. Two hours since my last post and not a soul under the Big Top.

Hi Cleo!
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Hi, Cleo & Dry! Just finished dinner.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Hello Rmom
I’ve been watching the Olympics and messin’ with my kid today.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Nice day here today, and yesterday as well. 40’s this time of year is like summer! It’s all relative you know!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Hey Dry, it was a really nice day here too. I think we hit the 60’s.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Hi, Terry! If we had a TV that would receive, we might watch some of the Olympics, but I’m not rushing out to buy a flat screen just for that reason. Is the Summer Olympics this year? What month?
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
We’ve had sleet & rain here - right around freezing.
carmy almost 15 years ago
I just checked, we’re getting thunderstorms tomorrow and the temps will be in the 60’s.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Hi, Carmy!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Hi Rmom, I heard that folks around here have been seeing a lot of robins. I’m taking that as a good sign.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Carmy I love thunderstorms, guess I said that earlier. This time of year, the 40’s is very nice. Still a lot of snow on the ground, but it’s melting, in time for the next batch.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Dry, you all are still expecting more snow?
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Carmy - I looked out my kitchen window this morning, and am just sure I am seeing buds on one of our maple trees. I think the redbud is also starting, but was harder to tell from that angle. Usually the blossoms on the redbud tree is the first sign of spring I see around here. I think I did see a robin yesterday, but we have birds all year long, and I didn’t get a real good look at it.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
I’m going to be popping in & out for the next few hours. I’ve got a literature book I need to read, to know what stories to assign my son to read.
carmy almost 15 years ago
I saw a heron trying to feast on a catfish in our backyard. The heron was stabbing at the catfish with his beak.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
The birds are singing here, that’s our first sign. One of my friends saw a couple of robins the other day.
Carmy wintry mix tmr. Which means rain and snow mixed, it’s supposed to be around 36 degrees.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Rmom the summer Olympics are not for another 2 years.
I just came in from sitting in the yard reading a book. I am in that phase I have every so often when I can not brin myself to read, so it felt good to be reading again.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Dry, 36 isn’t too bad. We know Spring is coming soon, but we can’t rush it.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Hi Cleo!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
HI CLEO! I used to love to read. One of these days, I’ll get back to it.
carmy almost 15 years ago
The book that I’ve been reading is the Bible. I get Reader’s Digest and Good Housekeeping, so I read those too. I don’t think I can squeeze any extra reading in.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Hello Dry & Carmy.
Carmy we subscribe to so many magazines that they keep me busy, plus I pick magazines up at the bookmobile each week.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
It appears that Steve Skelton’s wife has made an appearance at 2 Cows and a Chicken today and made quite a nice comment to the majority of his fans.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Cleo, the two I get keep me busy and sometimes I don’t even read them until I get the next month’s issues.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
My favorite magazine is called “The Week” and I look forward to each Friday or Saturday for it’s arrival. Since we discovered it we have turned so many people on to it that it has been awesome just how many of our friends have gotten subscriptions to it.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Cleo, I went and saw her comment on 2 Cows, she told Joe to get a life, hee hee! I guess that might be because he is always harping on how the Cows are not anatomically correct, etc.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Unfortunately, I believe this is Joe’s life.
carmy almost 15 years ago
I know, but I do learn new things from some of his comments. He just needs to tone it down a bit.
grandmatippytoes almost 15 years ago
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I posted over there as well. I love that strip! I don’t mind Joe,. yes, he gets mean sometimes, but he is also very infomative and at times, quite humorous. And Doc’s philosophy is Peace and Love, right? We have others worse than Joe, but for some reason, he has become a target.
carmy almost 15 years ago
grandmatippytoes, I pray you are able to get some much needed sleep tonight. God Bless you, too!
carmy almost 15 years ago
You’re right, Dry! Some people complain that Joe rambles, but I’ve seen some ramble and babble nonsense to no end and no one complains about that. What’s up with that?
carmy almost 15 years ago
Hola Doc!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Doc, there’s people much worse than Joe around here. I just ignore them.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Good Evening Tribe.
Taking a break from the hockey game. Hi Doc.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Doc, I don’t think he’s “playing the victim.” He’s a lot older than some of us and he’s just from those times when people actually respected their elders and the elders were entitled to that respect. Sadly, there’s not much respect around these days.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Howdy Doc & Grandma T. I am about to have an early dinner, take care Toonsters.
carmy almost 15 years ago
I’m sure I’m not the only one who has sat with an older relative that just kept blab, blab, blabbing. Did we tell this person to shut up? No, we politely listened and we didn’t make fun of them (well, maybe not in front of them).
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Lonewolf You’re getting the hockey game? I’m still getting skiing & figure skating. Bummer
carmy almost 15 years ago
Ice cream run, BBL.

COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Glad you got it BC13
Good Night Doc. Have a good evening.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Thanks for the info, Cleo. You know this household doesn’t follow sports. However, we do enjoy watching many of the Olympic performances. Guess I’ve got plenty of time to buy a flat screen before the Summer Olympics.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Gee, sorry I missed all that. I was taking out the garbage, literally! I have to agree with Carmy. As I have gotten older (gag) I have come to try really hard to look at things from another person’s perspective. I do try to walk in someone else’s shoes, sometimes it comes to where you can’t take it anymore and walk away. And I don’t really think Joe is as bad as Mark Trail or Wuz Two.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
If it’s like my house, I have this vision of grandmatippietoes being on the computer, she leaves, and Doc is waiting in the rafters to jump on as soon as she leaves! :-D
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Rmom, yes, you can take your time picking out that flat screen TV. LOL
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Thanks, Terry! Maybe they’ll come down some more in price by then. Although, I am thinking of getting one this year, just to help make space for some of the furniture from Mom’s house.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Rmom How are you coming with the posting of the rest of your mom’s quilts. Wolfangil asked me about them. :^)
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry - I took pictures of a couple quilts today. Let me get them downloaded, edited & posted. Hopefully I can get that done soon.
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Carmy & Cleo This is my first time viewing 2 Cows & Chicken. Awesome artwork, but I to love the wife’s comment to old Joe.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
No rush, Rmom, she was curious. She really liked the one on the bed.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Hey, hey BC13! Empty net goal. This has been a very exciting game for sure!
carmy almost 15 years ago
BC13, I started reading 2 Cows & a Chicken as soon as I noticed an ad from gocomics promoting it. That was some time ago, I have yet to go back to the beginning and read it from the start. When I began reading it, they were already on the their adventure. I did see where they buried the gold too.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
BC13 you should keep reading 2 Cows. It is a hoot! You can go back and play catch up, if you have time! I love it! My favorites on here are Big Top, Overboard, CItiazen Dog, Red & Rover, Little Dog Lost, and of course 2 Cows. There are others, but I check those first thing with my coffee, usually makes me rush to get ready for work! LOL! Who said I was addicted, who? :-D
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Back again you happy toonsters. I was trying to explain you all to a friend on the phone today and nothing I tried seemed helpful. I think you have to experience something like this to understand it.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
I have loved comic strips since I was old enough to hold the Sunday Paper. That’s where I got started! Couldn’t read much back then, but I liked the pictures!
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Dry, like I said yesterday (I think it was) I never remember a time when I didn’t have the funnies to read.
carmy almost 15 years ago
I liked to use Silly Putty on the Sunday comics, so fun!
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry - No problem. I would have done more, but I need to hang them on a different wall so I can step back further. I also decided to mend & wash the navy blue double wedding ring quilt before I put it away. They are uploading now.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
Carmy I never did that, but watched friends and their Silly Putty. I am so anal that I was afraid that I would ruin my Putty. :-)
carmy almost 15 years ago
Cleo, tsk tsk. So where’s your Silly Putty now? Still in the egg? They still sell it, but it’s not the same, IMHO.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago
If I still had my Silly Putty Carmy it would still be pristine and so would the egg. Do you recall how I still have my matchbox toys and their pristine original boxes, plus I played with them on a regular basis. I am still that way. If I get a scratch on something it ruins my day.
cleokaya almost 15 years ago

Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago

Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
But I thought Felix Unger liked to wear clothes! snerk
carmy almost 15 years ago
Cleo, you’re as anal as one of my sisters, but I still love you anyway too! Enjoy your movie.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry - I’ve got the latest photos posted. If Wolfangil knows the name of the pattern with the title “unknown artist”, I’d appreciate it. I’ll have to take a better picture of the navy quilt later - after I rearrange some furniture.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Gotcha Rmom, I’m headed there now.
Hope to see you after the movie, Cleo.
carmy almost 15 years ago
Felix Unger nakey? Ack, where’s the eye wash?!
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry & Wolfangil - I forgot to write down the name of the pattern for the one on the bed. Was it “Drunkard’s Path”? This getting old and forgetful is the pits!
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Dry & Carmy When I first started coming to gocomics, comics.com and seattlepi it was to get all the favorites I used to get for years and years and ended up missing from my local paper in Montreal.
Lonewolf I know some disappointed friends back home who take their hockey very seriously. But I, too, just see it as a good game that I’m not sure Canada can recover from.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
Rmom
Wolfangil knew as soon as she saw it. She says the pattern is called Churn Dash.
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
BC13
The Gocomics site can really get one addicted to comics.
I know Canada will recover from this game.
The Duke 1 almost 15 years ago
yyyguy, condolences! I know you’re as big a hockey fanatic as I am!!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Doc, this is for when you catch up later. I’m guessing my Mom is about Joe’s age and with that in mind, I can see how he is sometimes stating the obvious. Also, I know my Mom is very intelligent and if someone tries to say otherwise, her cackles will rise up too because it’s insulting. People from that generation are a lot closer to the senility age than we are. It hurts their feelings if we insinuate that they are already there and they will defend themselves, even though they shouldn’t have too.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
Terry - Tell Wolfangil thanks! I do appreciate the help.
Smiley Rmom almost 15 years ago
I’ve got to start getting ready for bed. Good night, Tribe!
COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
No problem Rmom, she enjoys it so much. She said to tell you that you’re welcome. My mother is the one into crochet, but at her age she doesn’t really do it anymore. I think she wishes her hands moved well enough to do it, though. :^(

Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
BC13, My first foray into internet comics was to look for Redeye, Tumbleweeds, and The Born Loser, which our local paper dropped! Well, it exploded from there! LOL!
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago
JFri so Canada lost? Best hockey game I EVER SAW was USA and Russia! When was that, 1984?
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
Dry And I never heard of them until you brought it up. It’s funny how regional the papers can be. I noticed this the moment I moved to Edmonton. And then again when I moved to Dallas. By the time I moved to the Houston area, I struck gold on the web and didn’t even bother with the local paper.
carmy almost 15 years ago
BC13, I know what you mean. It’s amazing what you can find and see on the world wide net. Dry, I think it was, 1980?
The Duke 1 almost 15 years ago

COWBOY7 almost 15 years ago
BC13 When I was younger and played hockey in high school, I always wanted to go to Montreal and see a hockey game. Back then all the players in my high school thought that was the most exciting place for hockey!
carmy almost 15 years ago
Dry, Who be you, looncreative? LMBO! You’re supposed to say, Hark! Who goes there? (still laughing here)
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago
It was Lonewolf. Been there and done that a few times and been to many Expo games (I was big on baseball)
A few years ago, I had to return home from Dallas to do an audit on a business the company was planning on acquiring. It was also a good chance to get back home to visit friends & family. The trip was in February and I spent the direct flight with a bunch of hyper kids going to my home town to play in a hockey tournament. My luck had me taking a return trip with the losers.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 15 years ago

LOL!
GROG Premium Member almost 15 years ago

Shikamoo See my commentary earlier today with LuvH8
I may as well stay up another hour and do the mid-night hour rounds.
Dry I saw that episode 2, but like that ‘70’s show, they seemed to have the check-points all wrong for the sake of the story. When you’re going to Canada you see Canadian Customs and when you’re going to the States you see U.S. customs. It would appear the writers never go anywhere on the other side of the border.
