Well, last posting was 2 hours ago, suspect no one is home. ‘Tis just as well, I need to get back to bed (virus scan completed, computer was still on).

But first, what a beautiful breakfast spread. Thanks Ladywolf

Pancakes with syrup, about 5 pounds of bacon (I love bacon) and orange juice.

Once I have wolfed this down (tongue in cheek) I go back to bed. Everyone have a great day!

But when you come back, CocoMocha will be added to Ladywolf’s menu, and if that doesn’t wake you up, nothing will.

(Doctor Toon’s Nuclear Coffee, on the other hand, might wake you up, but then it might just turn you into a mutant with superhuman powers…not always the best thing to be when you’re coming into work on Monday morning.)

LADY. A wonderful breakfast to start the week. WOODEYE I always felt like a low life drinking beer for breakfast, then I discovered Sunday morning Bloody Marys, a high class drunk in the morning.I used to ride to a high class town to enjoy my “breakfast” Then I laid down my bike coming home, I quit motorcycles but not drinking at that point in life.

Then I discovered DOC TOON’s nuc coffee. Now, instead of my hands shaking uncontrollably cause of last night overindulgence, they shook uncontrollably cause of today’s caffeine OD.I hear there are 12 step programs but I’m scared I might spill my coffee on the stairs

Morning TRIBE! I jumped out of bed and cried, “OBoy, I wonder what’s happening at work today?” Then I skipped down the road with a smile on my lips and a song in my heart to see my loving co-workers and understanding supervisors who recognize, acknowledge and reward my every effort.

    Hello Tribe

Just popped in nosing around for bacon scraps. (sniff, sniff, poke, scrabble) Ah, there’s half a slice. Just enough to keep me going through choir practice. We’re doing the Hallelujah Chorus from The Messiah. We have a cd with just the orchastral music, we sing to that and it sounds like we’ve got a philharmonic in the church. And it frees up our musicians (flutes, voilins, oboes, clarinets and guitars) to sing with us. Considering we are a small choir that’s really great (our regular Sunday choir, the ‘chancel choir’ is 7 people strong, all female. We have soprano, alto and malto (really low alto).

Got to run. Ya’ll take care. As is often said around here, Peace and Love

“…I fear no man, but women scare the crud out of me!”

Hey, I was just on a three day “little course” in Christianity with about 80 women–24 new candidates, plus the rest coming back as leaders, backup, cooks, etc. Only guy among the girls…and we did fine. My ears may take a couple of days to recover–oh, and my voice (got a touch of bronchitis, I believe), but other than that I’m fine!

Still, it is kinda odd to be the only man in a room full of 50 or 100 women–and the only one wearing skirts…

Dry, I am making dinner tonight and since you like hot you would love this (I think). It is called Dak_Galbi, or Korean spicy chicken. I am marinating the boneless, cut up chicken thighs in a ton of cayenne, Korean hot pepper paste, garlic, grated ginger and some corn syrup, sugar, sesame oil, mirin and pepper. It should be very hot.

No bone, cleo, but plenty of good eating. I managed to pick up a nice supply at a low price, so there’s more of those in my immediate future.

Gotta do the dishes now, but I’ll be back (Schwartzenegger voice).

Dry, I’ve found a site that sells the complete set with original music and uncut. I’m considering getting it, but with the knowledge that it won’t be with the best quality. But then again, a lot of good movies have terrible transfers to DVD. I’m thinking it may be worth it. I may try to acquire it before the end of the month.

Well my Korean spicy chicken had my wife coughing before she even sat down at the table, from the pepper. She took a few bites, altered it with tofu and no sauce and proclaimed it still to hot. She has been coughing on and on for 45 minutes. Oh well, it spiced up our relationship. LOL

Dry, I will let you know. I just ordered it. I know you already purchased the first season, but it would be better it you could get it all intact, don’t you think?

That show does not show up much in syndication, but when it does, it’s all cut to ribbons with music that I never heard of.

To see Les in right field again and Jennifer wearing those short shorts. Then there was the wrastlin’ preacher and Bobby Boogy among other gems.

I have 8 shows on tape including the pilot episode, but believe me it’s not enough.

Grog OH yes I know! And even Blockbuster is down to the first season, and Netflix (I googled them) doesn’t have it at all). I would LOVE the original music, but I doubt you’ll get that. I should get the set, you’re right, because it is getting scarcer and scarcer to find. Just check the one with Little Arthur, let me know what the music is! Don’t wait too long to tell me, though, ok?

I won’t, Dry. The one I want to see is the one where Les has a date with Jennifer to the “Pig Ball”. While Les is putting on his rug, Hot Blooded is supposed to be playing. I will expect no less.

I called these people some time ago, and they assured me it was all the original soundtract. As soon as I get it, I will play a few of my fav’s (and yours) and let you know.

The best part about having a TV/DVD player in my home “office” is that I can give you a play-by-play of what I’m seeing.
