Roller skating! and yes probably, if I have to do any lifting or other type of job that requires a turning of the wrist.

I fell and landed wrong.

I’m up early. Hopefully, I will go back to sleep before it is time to get up for the day.

Yes, and I don’t seem to have time to take a nap later when I am actually tired. I noticed that I can’t sleep when I am hot at night but for some strange reason, I can sleep during the hottest part of the day.

LONEWOLF Have they given you a culinary award yet? I would like some french toast, please, one stick of butter per, and New England Maple syrup if you don’t have to drive too far.

LADYWOLF Congrats on your new addition. My last rescue only cost $90 THE FIRST Day! Next day off to the vet’s where he charmed the lady doc into just charging me $140. I haven’t had the sofa and chairs reupholstered yet, but I have two estimates on the carpet and my homeowners doesn’t cover it. Ahh, but a furry ball of claws that wants to play every waking hour, his, not mine. And explaining to a persistent pet that the moon is in the window, not the sun. Feeding time isn’t till the newspaper hits the door..And I know others love my kitties when I get cute postcards in the mail reminding me to bring a stool sample when I bring my two fountains of sunshine for shots. Hey, get off that drape!

Gee, it’s a wonder that when I think of getting another pet it is a beta. You make pets sound like a neverending source of love and devotion. For you, not the pets.

Doc our air conditioner doesn’t usually keep up in hot weather, but definitely an improvement. And I sleep with a window open at night, so it needs to be cooler outside. Picky-picky.

I have a deadly aim with a squirt bottle too, but I use it on teenagers & children.

Still in Dallas, and about to start packing, but should be home this evening local time. Hope everyone has been having a good weekend.

James told the neighbor that we would clean out his gutters, so that is on our agenda here shortly. They ( next door neighbors) have both had strokes so they don’t get around very easily anymore. I think I mentioned them a while back. I also have a customer’s car that needs a power window motor and regulator. A little busy today.

Soon afternoon everyone. Lazy day here. Ladywolf if you read this for your wrist you need to apply ice pack help with swelling and wrap your wrist. Ice for maybe 20 min and let rest for an hour so no skin freeze. Over 20 years ago I stepped on my son’s boot going to answer phone with my right foot and twisted it badly, I iced my ankle and had to rap and use crutches. Dr. had x rays done and no broken bone. But had to be off for more then a month. Then got frustrated and tore the mending healing and start over. What’s was so bad I went barefoot around house with crutches and hurt my small toe on left side so I told hubby I’m not doing anymore.

Here’s ones who want it coffee. Just havin fun.

Another quiet day. I just got finished trying to watch the total eclipse. We were just about to get the diamond ring when the clouds thickened…..and thickened….and after 10 more frustrating minutes I knew I had missed the best part of the show, the corona, so I came on over to the comics.

Got to try and get stuff done today….but I just don’t feel like it. I would think I’m lazy, but I prefer to think of it as cleaning-challenged. Ya’ll have fun and I’ll be popping in here and there.

I hear you Kab Buch, I have iced my wrist down even before logging on this morning. I know that it will hurt for awhile, and I probably will not type that much, but I still like to come here and be with you all.

No pain can completely keep me away.

LADYWOLF - I don’t know what you use, if you already have done this or could use this. I’m not sure about Macs (I used them at work) but at home I use a PC and you can use ‘sticky keys’ for CNTL, ALT, and shift to use them sequentially. It may make it a lot easier.

Okay, no one’s here because Doc’s company is shortighted. Fortunately between Food Lion, Wal-Mart and K-Mart I have wheeled in a full spread of ice creams, toppings and anything you can imagine to go with it. I even have some of the more ahem stronger drinks should you wish to have an ice cream soda with kick.

Good evening everyone. Very hot day here. For Gocomics looks like another strip where others are visiting. Hubby worked off and on mom’s yard triming. My late dad when somewhat active planted a lot of trees so have to mow under them, but not today. I’m not sure if I can mow as yet, since my shoulder is getting stronger but still have to take now, two pills. I’m taking slowing down off very slow. Ladywolf sorry I wasn’t being bossy to you just was not aware if you knew about using ice. You can also wrap you wrist to give you support. My rt angle I had to use ice over 25 years ago and my mom then said I need to soak in warm to hot ephinsalt water, I did and stopped my foot felt like it was going to burst it hurt to much. I have a constant reminder now of a nerve on ankle.

Sojourner what type of job do you have? I work in an office and my computer is HP. Most of upper management has gone to database, except me I’m left in old days.
