I don’t even like the European version. I much prefer Rugby.

I am required by something to like soccer and baseball and boy scouts. Oh yes,it is in the official job description of Aunt.

Hate soccer, like baseball, never did Boy Scouts so I have no opnion there. Soccer is just so unAmerican.

I’m really late. I just got back from the birthday party a bit ago. It was fun.

LUVH8 As Robert Preston said in the Music Man (or my mother said as she taught me to play with one arm) “Pool is a bum;s game. Billiards is for gentlemen.”

Pool is simply hitting one ball in a pocket with another ball and you have 15 balls to choose from. Billiards, on the other hand, is a game of mathematical excellence where you have no pockets to distract you while you hit your cue into the two other balls, with the gentlemanly agreed upon banks or taps. Of course you never wager.

In 1942, the Coast Guard closed all the billiard halls on Hampton Beach, NH in anticipation of U-Boat attacks. One of those liberated tables found its way to our barn. Is the war over? Should I return it?

With I heightened security alert, I suggest Homeland Security move Big Blue to my basement for the safety of future chess playing generations.

Pop Everyones still sleepin’ and I can’t. Nuc me please. I got nothin for the toon today. Pool’s easier to score when you’re hammered. Maybe that’s where the bad rap comes from. Hope everyone has a safe and restful Sunday.

James’ freshman football team also lost yesterday by one point! I’d call it a bad Saturday, but he got himself a girlfriend at the homecoming dance! He’s definitely following in someone’s foot steps! :^))

Grog, today I have the Titans/Giants and Lions/Vikings at 12:00 CST and the Colts/Broncos at 3:00 CST.

Of course you already know what the Sunday night game is.

Well at least the day wasn’t a total loss.

I know…………………………I keep telling myself that! We did get money on all three teams too.

Well I have Cowboys/Texans and will put them on the rabbit ears. I’ll flip between Falcons/Saints and Browns/Ravens early. I get the same late game but I think I’ll flip between that and Eagles/Jags.

Well, game time. I’ll drop in @ the half.

We received money for advancing to the first round of COC, Grog. Only 50 per team member(8), but at least it was some consolation.

It’s sad to see him still play. He should of stayed retired (and not risked further injury). Time waits for no one. He is to me one of the best quarterbacks.

The Dallas vs. Houston game is not available for me to watch. Instead they are making me watch the New Orleans vs. Atlanta game.

Still it’s a pretty good game.

Joe Montana is probably my all time favorite. I don’t watch that much football and I know their are others like him. What I liked was his ability to concentrate on his job and take his time to make a good pass despite about to get hit hard by the defence.

Testing out my new keyboard. My hubby’s keyboard was sticking like crazy, making it hard for him to do schoolwork. So I swapped with him until I could dash out to Best Buy for a replacement. Been working at least an hour with wiring, batteries, etc, but it seems like I’ve got it done. So far only complaint is the mouse wheel, it clicks, but it keeps me from scrolling too bleeep fast so I’ll put up with it.

Looks like I have things working now. It’s a nice keyboard, not bad for $60.00, yet very similar to the keyboards I bought about 3 years ago for $30.00 each. Signs of the time, I guess.

Got to get back a lot of terms still and some are sinking in. McConnel Air Force Base had a showing but didn’t go. Lonewolf not sure if your interested or others. For Saturday some got cancelled from rain no hail. We had rain between OK and KS. Turnpike doing road work 2 lane at 55. Try to catch comics am. Helped to cut back on tunes.
