Who is Uncle Henry supposed tyo be?
I think that that is Prince Henry the Navigator. Used to pay explorers to wander the world and make maps for him. He himself never went anywhere.
Hi Pab - it’s been a lot of years since I took German in H.S. I remember enough to get the gist of the last panel (although it’s pretty self explanatory). I googled to find out more about “The Battle of Stalingrad” during WWII.

Henry is Henry Tudor, also known as Henry VII. Sorry for the glitches that kept this one until late.
I was thinking he was someone from the Tudors but all I could think of were people from Henry VIII. Thanks!
Henry the 7th would have been Victoria’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather, not uncle. I might have missed a great or two.
