I have the Jags/Cowboys and Packers/Jets at noon. Then I have the Vikes/Patriots at 3.

Not much, except for a few chores I should start getting to.

I can’t say there’s anything appealing to me in the early games. I get Jags/Boys and Packers/Jets.

Vikings/Patriots is the late one, but I think I’ll watch Titans/Chargers or Buc/Cardinals. Non-conference games don’t really do anything for me.

I should start getting on those chores. I’ve wasted a good part of the morning flagging spammers.

Church I go to are happy they reached out to over 700 children not to mention also parents. Totally ran of goodies. I seen some imanigtive minds on costumes. I and hubby stayed later me to help clean up and vacumn floors. I hope to get on later, now for studies in prep for tests.

The SSBN Erehwon breaks water like a belly-flopping elephant, the periscope bent and dents evident on the con tower. It limps into the berth at the Big Top tent and lets out a hiss of steam like a dying geyser.

*The hatch clangs open, hanging on one hinge. Slowly the crew makes their way out, limping, bandaged, eyes appearing shellshocked. Slowly they make their way to the huge vat of Doc Toon’s Nuclear Coffee, picking up huge mugs in one hand and finger food breakfast bits in the other. Last off is the captain. Quaby’s shape is as bad as the crew, but the eyes flicker over each man and woman with pain and sympathy. But his eyes briefly light up as the catering truck pulls up by the Big Top. The crew looks around, sniffing

After a moment, the captain spoke, Aye, was the soft affirmation. Ye did good, me crew, though the odds they be against us. Prime steak, potatos every way you can think of and desserts to satisfy the inner child in each of you. Enjoy. The crew cheered despite their weariness.*

Soon enough the crew was stuffed past the eyebrows, curled up in groups with soft snores and exhausted breathing. The Captain, finally having a plate for himself, fell asleep beside his half eaten apple pie.

Because the Dallas offense isn’t keeping the ball long enough. The defense is spending all the time on the field. When they’re not, the offense is coughing the ball up.

I realize that the ratings don’t translate to wins and losses, but………………

But if you have a good rating, the chances are you are winning some games, unless your defense is equally as bad.

158.3 is the best one can get.

I think so Eldo, but if your rating is around 100, you’re doing pretty good. But if your in the 70’s or so or lower, you’re not doing so hot. It’ll put a lot of the pressure on the defense.

I wonder what Kitna’s rating is.

I just read that through Wikipedia Sojo. Interesting to say the least. I also googled and a player with 400 yards and 4 TD passes can have the same rating as a guy with 90 yards and 1 TD. Go figure!

And KC missed the field goal with about 3:40 left.

It was cut off to stop the monster he turned into when he looked at the full moon. Without it he didn’t have his super powers. It grew back. As when someone grabbed it he lost all his power he secretly learned not to be affected by that. I forgot how he lost it the second time but he learned to keep his super powers without it. Evil Little Sister might remember or maybe I could find it on the internet. I don’t think I have the DVD that shows his second loss. I don’t think anything became of the tail itself.

There was a thing in Yahoo a day or two ago, about people who were getting fed up with teenage trick or treaters.

Ah yes Sojo The monsterous Giant ape or monkey as Freiza called it. I remember Dragonball Z well.

I don’t think there is any set time here. Begins about dusk. There aren’t many on my street (if any) so I have stopped for several reasons. Usually local kids done shortly after sunset. Had some after 10;00 till almost midnight. They were all from who knows where. Once a couple of vans came down the street making there kids go to the houses to get all they could. The kids were only about 3 years old and about to fall asleep while standing (after 10;00). Others were young adults after !0:00 trying to get all they could. Those were after my porch light was off. The porch light here is the only guide which houses you should go to.

I live on a dead end street and few young children live here. There is a mall close by that has things for kids. A lot of parents go that route for safety reasons. One year no one came by.

We don’t get any trick or treaters on my street.

We have to have cops patrol the streets because of the local bars that are around.

I’m getting them fairly regularly so far. Mostly little ones with their parents. I recognize most of them. They are cute in their costumes. :^)

Young kids going to their neighborhood is the way it should be! :’)

Hello Tribe Yaaawwwnnn.

Having lived in apartment complexes since 1976 I’ve seen hoards and I’ve seen none. But,coming from the city where the Candy Man passed out the arsenic (or was it strychnine) laced Giant Pixie Sticks to kill his kids ( and bedammed be the neighborhood kids who might get one), Halloween was absolutely dead for about 4 years. Here we get the kids in the complex, being gated means no outsiders w/o going through the gate, so no chance of a van full of kids from downtown. I’m keeping the living room dark and TV off because I don’t have a porchlight, but we’re not doing candy this year. I couldn’t get the stuff we needed, I definitely couldn’t afford candy. Sniff, I still miss my ice cream.

I was older and didn’t get into it like kids would. To me it was more of escape fiction and expressed a good moral point of view. I never outgrew cartoons but don’t care for a lot of the new types.

My Halloween actually started a bit earlier this year. It was 6:15 and sti;; quite bright out. Usually I get them starting up just before 7 as it’s starting to get dark. As a result, the last call was 8:10.

And I actually had something left over. If I’d known that before I started, I would have handed out bonus bags.

Since I’m not too likely to make my presence known this week, this will probably be one of the few posts I make this upcoming week. I love month-end!

Starting Monday I will be turning in, not the spammers, but the website business site that they are providing the link for to our state’s attorney-general. He loves to prosecute spamming website owners.

Do the same for your state’s attorney-general; since go-comics doesn’t wish to help, then we can simply have the spammers owners fined out of existence. Nothing encourages them to “move on” like tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

Also, just the fact that Go-Comics will have government officials monitoring this site and asking questions may help to encourage them to stop the spammers instead of giving them shelter.

She sneaks up on the second craft, slightly larger but still of rickity 3rd world workmanship. What can be expected from Spamania. *

Even faster than its sibling the torpedo cuts through the water and catches the craft midsections. KLABLOOMISHBANFBANGBOOM!! The craft disintegrates. The SSBN Erehwon turns silently toward the rickity junkboat which had seen better days in Shanghai. *

This time when the torpedo hit the backside, barely a bump for most vessels. But this is a junkship and it starts falling apart, crew splashing into the water.*

I still see spam and even I flagged them. I’d much rather settle for the Rodent Revolution . At least that’s entertaining.

I was just going to pop in and leave a marker, but my filter’s blocking page 4. I’m guessing some spam showed up, that seems to be the main trigger lately. My mom died a year ago tonight - she was great at making costumes, but I don’t think I ever entered a contest. We never had a store-bought one, although I think my sister had a store-bought mask. I found that wearing makeup was much more comfortable, so tried to come up with ideas that didn’t require a mask. I’ve got a nasty cold - there are some things I would prefer my family didn’t share with me. No trick-or-treaters out here, and we always took our kids to church parties where they could play games and get candy that we were sure were safe. When we were kids, we had a territory we were required to stay inside of, but if we covered every house in that area, we were pretty tired. Sometimes I remember making a stop at the house to unload, so I didn’t have as much to carry the rest of the trip. Hope to see y’all tomorrow!
