Doc & bmonk may I borrow your snowapults please? It is still snowing here, not hard but just enought to be miserable. It’s a dry snow so we can’t even make snowmen or have a snowball fight. What good is that? I’ll just fling it into the air and anyone who wants it can grab some.

Sure–we’re currently at about 14 °F (-10C), and sunny–but the snow is due, maybe, over the next couple of days and nights…

The trash and part of the recycling is out. I don’t recycle paper in January (we only get 1 time monthly). I save it for February.

Feeling much better, and I plan to get out and get some vittles. We haven’t replenished our fresh veggies, etc. since we got back, and I’m actually feeling hungry for the first time. :)))

The state of Confusion is near the state of Insanity, and may be next to the states of Anger or Grief. I’m not sure what capitals or other symbols any of those have.

I’m usually in a state of Insanity, which is odd when I’m also in a state of Confusion…

@Montana Lady, I live in West Dakota, which is that state across the Missouri River from East Dakota…

@Oooops!, I don’t know about the state of Confusion being pretty, but I’ve heard that the state of inebriation can be pretty–at least for those there for only a short time.

Too soon and you get some bad trips, and it’s not so pretty. And it’s never really pretty for the outsiders who see the inhabitants…

Some people reading this might wind up in a State of Shock.

Finally got my lawn mower started (battery was too low to start] and cleaned the leaves off my front yard! :-)

At least that job is done. Now if … .

I have one of those, Sojourner.. I could never keep mine fully charge for doing my whole lawn in Dallas. Haven’t even tried in League City.

I think I had it sit too long before using it. Besides the battery getting low it was hard to start due to the time sitting unused. I had wanted to run it at least once a month in the winter so I wouldn’t have to winterize it but let it go a couple of months before running it. Tried two different times but the battery died before starting it. Had a friend bring over a charger I had given him and after a while finally got it to start. May try to run it every 3 weeks instead of a month, that should work! Also disconected the headlights. Don’t know why but it has two headlights with no on/off switch so they are always on, even while starting.

Grog - If you were talking about an electric mower that runs off of bateries I had one that worked great for my size lawn for about 5 years. Then the batteries needed to be replaced and were so expensive I just got a different mower. Right now I use a riding mower. I have a small lawn but it sure makes it easy.

Yes, that’s what I was referring to, Sojourner. I found that it could not now the whole lawn before needing a recharge.

In which state does one find Paranoia? Maybe it is a river that runs through several of them? I hope the States of Confusion and Insanity are close to each other otherwise there are going to be a lot of divided people.

Actually, Ooops both the states of Confusion and Insanity are very close to where I live. I have visited both many, many times and you are more than welcome. I haven’t seen any snakes, but…….. I think the quickest way to reach either is straight through the state of Denial.

Even paranoids have enemies.

@serenasakitty, I agree (LOL!)–and remember that denial is a very narrow state, like it’s namesake river…

I guess I’m last though okay. I put my 8 hours in today, wow was busy. Head dept is pushing for some type of work from new boss, very detail and dead lines, can’t tell you what type though, will continue with project afternoon. I was in a state of bewilder for today, and I alreay new of this people came in for interviews, dept has some turnover in certain shifts, others can move up or change positions more then I can. Good night to ones who have gone to bed.
