JOHANAN, Haven’t been blessed with the wonderful taste (to say nothing of side effects) of *DOC TOON’S WORLD FAMOS NUCLEAR COFFEE in 3 months. I’ll take a case of unobtanium collectors mugs (filled, cream no sugar please). Er, after detox and a three month withdrawal, do I have to rebuild my tolerance to BT’s favorite brew or can I resume mainlining immediately? Santa only brought me 6 pounds of coffee this holiday (” Holiday”, that PC or what?). Did they have a frost at the North Pole Coffee plantation? I’d better return to the warm, loving climes of BIG TOP. After all these months my SpellChex still refuses to recognize the two basic need’s of humanity, UNOBTANIUM and the Boston Red SOX. I need a geek.

    Good Morning, All!

Especially: Grog, DocT, DFrog (long time, no see!), Ooops!, and lakesnake!

Oooooops!, the trick is not to oversing your voice. If you strain, it will hurt. When you have a cold, be even more ginger about singing, especially when it gets high.

And it doesn’t hurt to sing every day. A local music department policy is that you have to practice only on days you breathe.

Doc, would it be real not nice of me to not wake Gma when I bring in her food less than ten minutes after she asks for it in the morning when she is asking for it before 8am? Really, if you are willing to wake someone up at 5:30am and ask them to make your breakfast, is it not polite to at least stay up long enough to eat it? (especially if you can get it yourself)

I lost a month of sleep that week of her service, I think she had a stroke, I was in bad shape, hospital couldn’t understand why no one was there. I need to see doctor and couldn’t. After I did sent to specialist, years later my left ear inside constantly has air sounds and occasional ringing.

Sadly technology in medicine didn’t have me when I was my son’s age little to eye patch. My son who is 28 hasn’t worn glasses since leaving HS. Poor guy I know kids ridiculed him but he has glasses free. Our daughter has different type of vision and instisted on contacts though she has glasses. There dad only needs glasses for reading. My copper locks had streaks of silver in them when I was thirty…very stylish frost job for free….Pretty much white with dark trimmings at 45…I colored for a few years then quit and look at my white top and sides and upper back part of my hair and am happy while my friends have color jobs…No blue for me either….YUCKY POOH…No perms either as I have natural body-like curl/flips/waves.

Reading over past comments, it is a little hard sometimes to keep track of who is talking to me. Hmmm……. maybe I should choose one name again?

bmonk - Here is the web site. They are expensive (probably to make them seem worth more than they are). Each course goes on sale at least once a year at 70% off or more. They are The Great Courses by The Teaching Company. I was able to get several course for $35 or less each. This course was 24 lectures each 30 min. so was 12 hours long. Most courses are good, have only ran across a few that should of been better. They have a full return with no questions asked and no length of time.

Well shucks! I don’t know if anyone here actually looks old. For all I know everyone here could live in the same nursing home and be making up stories about their lives for giggles.

You peoples aren’t doing that, are you?

I heard a few years ago that “old” is at least fifteen years more than your current age.

Even when I was a teen, I didn’t care about being normal. Now I am hardly normal–in my lifestyle, in my personality or interests. It may look rather sedate and mundane, but inside it seems quite different.

Hi, peoples! Just popping in. Busy day in town, two hours of which was spent in the dentist’s chair. Now I’m trying to finish reading books I checked out for my trip before I need to return them. BTW, I think it sounds more distinguished to say I have silver hairs, instead of grey ones. They’re shiney, so why not? “It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser.”
