Saw something on GMA this morning I realize most may not watch too much on TV. There are a group of guys wears what they call superhero costume’s in Seattle think they are helping law enforcement in fighting crimes middle of night. I would not be out at 2 or 3 am sleeping, they would terrify me, law-enforcement not happy.

Another nice day today Sunday not to promising, expecting rain turn to snow not sure of accumulation.

good morning (for another half hour) Tribe Canada (my part of it, anyway) is finally getting weather that looks like our winter should look. although there is bright sunshine outside my window, we are currently a little bit below freezing and we had snow last night, so we finally have a white Christmas (only 2 weeks late).

@ Kab - when the guardian angels were started in New York City the cops were very much against them, too. the pros don’t like amateurs horning in on their territory, and vigilanteism can cause more problems than it solves. someone should tell those guys that even Batman was an “unofficial” member of the Gotham City PD.

@ DocT: you do still qualify as newlyweds. on the game show it was any couple who had been married less than two years (if my memory serves correctly). my nephew is still a newlywed as far as the family is concerned. they got married at the beginning of October.

The weekend weather outlook–not so good.

not doing too bad, bmonk, although the knees have been hurting lately. weather is changing to colder hereabouts, so the arthritis flared up a bit. once temp steadies down a little the pain will ease as well.

@yyyguy, I know some weather predictors who use hips or knees…

Hello all just a brief line or two. Talk about your knees hurting when we had last cold front hit my right arm upper muscle hurt all day not in joint and not where surgery had occured. Since another front is coming in so far I am fine. Oh that pain did finally spread through to behind my neck. I know of a couple though years ago they have been married a lot longer then a year still act like newlyweds. Time to leave for work. I wanted to find out from ones from KS if our ground temps are still warm or has change to cool down since we are in for some snow. I will check later. Gotta go. bye.

hi Hopeandjoy i ALWAYS compliment grandmoms when the opportunity arises. i never saw much of mine as a kid (they lived in a different country) and never even met one of them, but i’ve seen how my Mom was with her grandkids (among other examples) and it has led me to believe they are the closest thing on earth to saints (and not New Orleans Saints, either).

Still supposed to get nicely cold, but not so fast…

Might have to wait a couple of days to see what the weekend weather will be like.

bmonk - They keep changing the forcast here (as always). The falling frost keeps being moved up sooner and the cold keeps being predicted to be colder and last longer. As it’s about here I will soon find out what happens.

Well, Sojo, they did warn us that this storm was not too well defined for track and intensity, and the forecast could change. I’ve noticed they aren’t giving that caution anymore.

Hey Ooops I read through later comments yesterday and saw where you live near Portland. The Grotto is a tranquil park with walks, water and benches to relax on. I think there was more to the name, but haven’t looked it up.

I used to tell my kids now adults wait until the first 200 have their wrecks thinking they can drive normal then you will be somewhat safe. Me by Monday whatever the dept of snow I still need to go in not sure I make it if we where to get a foot of snow. Time I leave roads I hope will be okay. Workers that maintenance roads have been treating them in preparation.
