Sir Lew, when people repeatedly use such things as $#:+ & %#$@:-+&;::&;’% it shows a distinct lack of imagination and makes them look vulgar. I may not be the brightest crayon in the toolbox, but I am neither vulgar nor lacking imagination (at least most of the time).

We have had the most beautiful sunrise! Big ole clouds are receding over the city, Venus is in her glory, and the sun is just beginning to peak through. Ooooooooooo yeah!

I’m glad you were able to enjoy the sunrise, Montana Lady. Venus is at its greatest elongation (it appears farthest from the sun) today. It has been cloudy for a couple of days here in Darkest Saskatchewan, and today we’re expecting 2-4 cm of snow.

While I’m orating about astronomy, January 4 was the seventh anniversary of the Spirit rover’s arrival on Mars. Unfortunately, the poor thing hasn’t been able to communicate with Earth since March 22, 2010, and may not have survived the Martian winter. Considering it was supposed to be a 90-day mission, it has done extremely well, but I still hope it can wake up and keep trying to extricate itself from the sand it’s stuck in.

Hi Little Sister Enjoy your “freedom” for a few more days then back to the book routine.

Too much foo-ball and basketball out there for the tribe to watch. That is what we have been doing. Our hometown university team lost when a fellow hit a mid-court 3 pointer with .3 left on the clock. We were one point ahead at the time of the basket. It might make the news.

There was football on today!

Oh well at least the Tribe can enjoy it, so that makes me happy :-)

I couldn’t bring myself to watch the early game. I loath the Seattle uniforms and the team wearing them. If by chance they make it to the Super Bore, I’ll refuse to watch that too.

Grog - I didn’t watch the first foo ball game today either. A few weeks ago one of the local stations started to carry METV. Tonight they’er showing shows that Anna Francis was in as a tribute to her. She died a few days ago. I’ve been watching them. First they showed to shows of Honey West, then Cannon, Rawhide and now Gunsmoke. I’m not sure what other shows are coming up but it is interesting to watch different shows that one person acted in.

Anne Francis was also in The Forbidden Planet. I Wonder if they’ll show that.

Tonight’s game was a good game, but I didn’t like the outcome of either. I think I shall retire to bedlam.

I think I may have seen that episode, but I’m not totally sure.

They showed The Untouchables with her and are now showing another Honey West.
