♥Little Sister♥ I had an interesting event for on-line class last week I got frustrated, I spent a wasted morning using a web site with a course ID, I notified instructor and she apologized for confusion from her part. Class was suppose to start 14th. Now I have to wait for 18th and short notice since class starts on Thursday. Course ID was not longer anygood and I didn’t know this. Strange part dates for course where old dates and I let instructor know this. Next time if dates are not right I before I try to log in I will let instructor know.

I wasn’t sure we make it to church this morning. Streets look okay. Weatherman talked about freezing drizzle last night. Just upon a HWY not far from us just across bridge, firetrucks, police, and ambulance where summoned. We found out why a two car wreck happened. Roads looked okay and HWY is very drivable.

I know there’s a football game going on, but I’m watching a much more important game on BBC America. The Tudors is in a marathon right now and Lady Anne has comedown with the sweating illness. Henry is beside himself and the kingdom is in shambles. In Germany peasants are suffering from another illness, Lutheranism. The match is heating up…how will Henry win his dispensation to annul his marriage to Queen Catherine?

Hmmmm, four episodes and Henry’s still not divorced. It’s going to be coming on Wed nights so I’m bailing for The Day the Earth Stood Still That’s one I don’t have on disk. Except for Knowing and Avatar (birthday gift) we haven’t bought any DVDs. Pity is I let a friend borrow Knowing and it has deep-sixed, and I haven’t’ seen it come on Encore or HBO yet. Sigh.

I explained one of your posts yesterday on Calvin and Hobbes–I hope you don’t mind and that I got it right.

Bmonk close enough. You have the jest of my comment. Calvin is so busy making snowmen I’m surprise they still have snow. All comments are more funnier then the strip. I type on laptop and sometimes the keys don’t go the way it should. I have retyped to correct errors. This time I missed. And besides I didn’t think others would read what I written. Most like short comments. I don’t believe I will ever write in clairty on sentences to make most happy or others to understand. Also my son ordered some time back a laptop keyboard cover to protect the keys. I am not sure if this is the reason for wrong keys being typed.

It was just because they didn’t get it, and were, umm, picking on you.

I could tell they were confused, most would wish I wouldn’t make comments on their favorite strip of C&H.

Oh and I do know the English language.

I agree. I’m not trying to confuse or offend anyone. I read other comments and thought they were great.

I was mistaken then about knowing English–wonder if I misremembered from someone else?

bmonk I know English words but not an English major. When a small child I had trouble seeing. Back then schools didn’t test and there was no such thing as eyepatching. I lost a lot of proper English structure, though I enjoyed reading books. Our son did have eyepatching when he was small and they did work with his English words. I also gave one document to one teacher that would aide students.

Also when my son finished HS his eyes were normal vision thanks to eyepatching. I know his fellow classmates gave him all types of problems. He sees okay, me if they had done this ages ago could have been different for me. My left eye is my weak one. I have told rmom there are words that give me trouble.

bmonk the strangest part or anyone who reads my comments here that is fine. When the instructor messed up and others posted there were a few who stated they did not have the best English speach.

Lonewolf, I have teenagers again. Did you know that cars don’t run without gas? You think that will count as my third time locking the keys in the car?
