My morning was busy. For a change took hubby and I waited on him for a medical senior medicare tests. He has one more to schedule. Can be done on Saturday. So far I have worked with two teachers 1 English teacher, and both are still wrong on run-on. I would tried to copy and paste on lap top for word. I can copy but lab will not paste. On main frame computer tried to print screen, copy but will not paste on Word. Bummer. This would help the ones I am asking help from.

Have a great sleep time Doctor Toon I tried to sleep a little more but cat said no you need up. I wound up with a slight headache strain. Took Advil.

I didn’t have enough time to make a small tour of strips.

The knew or promoted manager plans to have more PMI meetings with staff under them. Former manager didn’t with lower levels like me. So far when I have called in for such meetings no matter how hard I try never good enough.:(

Hi, people! I would have joined you earlier today, but my filter doesn’t like something on page 1. I saw a bald eagle on Sunday! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before in real life, and not in captivity. I’d heard some have been spotted around Wichita, this was near Augusta (20 miles or so east of Wichita).

Hi, Rmom! I can’t see what might have blocked you, but then I’m not your filter…

bmonk - I thought maybe it was spam, but thank goodness, gocomics seems to have figured out how to stop that. Sometimes it just happens to be a combination of words that upset the filter. It takes about 24 hours to get a site unblocked, because their automated system blocks it, and to get it unblocked, one of their staff has to personally look at it, and make sure it meets their standards. So, I don’t bother trying to get pages here unblocked, since it takes that long.

It still does that and except for a few cases I won’t bother to edit my connents to fix the way they look.

Ooops! - Did you take that picture of the elks? I don’t think I’ve ever seen any, except maybe at a zoo. DFrog - That’s the problem with my memory, it isn’t as sharp as it used to be. Hi, Wolfie! - Are you playing pool tonight, or are you going to be here? Kab - I’ve heard of some bald eagles around Watson Park, and I guess up by Twin Lakes, that’s why I was more surprised to see it by Augusta. I’m pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve seen one in RL, but I’ve seen enough pictures that I’m positive that’s what it was.

Rmom my sister was sitting outside in the car waiting on her hubby inside doing some business, seen one, then witness a 3 car wreck, and other things going on at times. The Bald eagle swope down on the car then up on a posts.

Lonewolf my hubby could relate to your coughing. He used to get broncitis real bad. Coughing would wear him down. Now he doesn’t get that.

Me I haven’t seen the bald eagle and Watson Park is further east and north of us. More east and I only drove my Watson park.

Rmom, I am staying home from pool again tonight. I didn’t get to work yesterday because I wasn’t feeling well & I stayed home from pool last night. The extra rest is doing me good. I actually felt better at work today. Other than some extra coughing right now, I am feeling pretty good.

I think it is just congestion from a cold, Kab.

I think years ago that may have been how my hubby’s started. He went to doctor then and I can’t remember if they gave him antibiotic but more told him has to wear itself out. This only refers to him. Took awhile for the coughing to wear out and a lot of sleep. He was working a lot of hours back then.

Ooops, I suspect that’s how Thom would come up with some great stuff. Of course having a warped sense of humor helps when you’re translating the stuff into comics.

Yes, Rmom I looked out the window and it took me a moment to register what I was seeing. There are at least fifty elk.

Ooops! - Glad there’s a fence! Wolfie - Rest does help! I took a short nap today, just had the sleepies, and couldn’t think of a reason I needed to stay awake. So, instead of reaching for a Coke, I went for the couch instead.

Ooops One last comment, If you can climb a tree the next time you see elephantscoming your way, here is a way to catch them…(You might try it on the elk even)

Sit on a branch with a fruit jar, tweezers and a pair of binoculars. * When the *elephants come by, Look at them through the big end of the binoculars to make them smaller, pick them up with the tweezers and put as many as you can in the fruit jar
