This seems to be a very Confuzzling Monday for everyone. Maybe that is why I am having such a time with balance and dizziness.

Well off to pick the Monkey up from Church. I have been trying to figure out which countries and religions my preceding generations come from. I guess I will need to actually research. Blechy! What do they call your religion if the religion itself doesn’t matter because you only go to socialize?

Better go I have one minute ……. ooops……….. less than a minute to get there.

In the Catholic Church, we have “cradle Catholics”, those who come twice a year (Christmas and Easter), and those who show up to be “hatched, matched, and dispatched”–for baptism, marriage, and funeral. And the “social Catholics” who identify themselves as Catholics, but don’t really have any other way to show it.

I’m guessing that many other churches have similar members.

If you can identify your family name(s), and figure out what language they come from–that often helps narrow down the country, which in turn may narrow down the religion.

On another note–time’s a’wasting! Gotta go!

What a nice Saturday for 68°. Wichita made weather news nationaly Friday, I wonder will happen again. I don’t know where that park was the camera crews shot.

No…… these are the people who go to church almost every week, pretty much ignore the service (or perhaps are somewhere else for that part) and mainly just socialize. They will pretty much go to any church as long as they know people there. (you know the people dozing, texting, intently reading the book they are hiding, passing notes, whispering, etc)

That sounds like a contemporary service, Ooops!

I attend the traditional service, socialization stops when the pastors come down the aisle and begin the service with the ‘greetings’. It restarts after the ‘Go in peace, Serve the Lord—thanks be to God’ ends the service.

Or maybe Lutherans are just polite. I haven’t attended the contemporary service in over 10 years.

Well…… we were talking about certain members within the congregation so you are saying they are Impolite s.

They don’t really get a special name. I guess that makes sense, Impoliteness does show up everywhere. (even without my help).

Hmmm…… I better steer away before we get in trouble…… but……

We should probably remember some people literally couldn’t sit still for any length of time without going batty. I know I can’t.

Peeks Hi Sojo with the eggs(?), Grog who has finished his movie; Ooops, who is still up to mischief, and all out there without a balloon for comments.

I am envious of the Wichita area people and their wonderful weather today! I was happy for 50’s yesterday and today it was all of 40° and now we will be getting sleet, ice, snow beginning Sunday nite. MAJOR STORM they say!! Watch out Easterners!!

Oooops Our services try to involve a lot of people and are not too formal but respectful. Lots of music of various types with one service a month done by a worship committee/youth etc. We are a family, pretty much…potlucks and do work in the community. Which reminds me, Bedtime Now So I can get up. Smiles and happy dreams, now

Yes…………. I did it again four eggs, one of my less than six month old pots and a two and a half hour nap. I woke to the smell of burning. The really sad part is not only do I get to have wasted food, a mess, and a possibly ruined pot but……

LOL

I really need to remember use to pans I don’t care about to boil eggs. I am not sure why I am always compelled to lay down and go to sleep as soon as I turn on eggs. It makes no sense.

Maybe you could set the alarm clock when you cook eggs, just in case.
