The storm has been delayed by some 6-8 hours but it is finally here. We’ve got about a quarter inch of ice on our streets and though we may not get much snow, even a light dusting will only make things worse.

San Antonio is completely shut down with the snow that hasn’t arrived here yet.

Ah Wink, I think you need to get out of there. Photon thrusters are notoriously unreliable.

Thanks PLODS WITH BEER but why not just pour in water. I put on my coat and galoshes to go to the store when HER dog decided it was walk time. Holding a dog, a quart of half and half, and a plastic poop bag walking in snow and ice requires more coordination than this caffeine addict has. Where da heck is that pipeline Doc Toon has been promising? Yeah, right, I’m gonna whistle at 4 AM in my household.

I don’t use milk or cream, cuz I don’t want to see what’s floating in it so I can’t feel your pain.

Sir Lew In general I prefer foods with less chemicals (Gma seems to prefer more chemicals, very odd). So when I run out of half&half I add milk and ice cream to my Nuclear Coffee. If you actually care about the temperature of your coffee you may have to heat it up. Or you could just have a Nuclear Float.

Of course, I was just inspired to look at my can of Pepsi and saw the phosophoric acid which for some reason as a kid always made me think my soda should glow in the dark. I guess this is the special ingredient in colas that makes it good for removing rust and other such things.

@Ooooops!!, you could also make matchheads out of the Pepsi.

And, yes, that’s what makes it good for cleaning engines or battery terminals.

I think it’s a lot of chemistry. And rather tricky–like nitrating glycerine or toluene (to get nitroglycerine, or TNT, respectively).

I have seen Dragonball Z Kai And am amazed at how some of the things have changed from the original Dragonball Z show.

When I change avatars. it often reflects the current mood that I am in. Right now I am happy and feel at peace.

I like the original Goku as a kid. Some of the newer shows show the same part repeating over and over like a soap opera.

I ordered that Plan 9 from Outer Space movie. Hopefully, Monkey 2 and I will get to watch it this weekend together. I will be able to pick it up tomorrow at the library. Bad movies are way better when you have someone to make fun of the movie with.

King Kung Fu is a really stupid movie made here in Wichita. Hollywood counld’t get over the tallest building here at the time was a Holliday Inn. I was in a crowd shot they made. Most of the humor you had to be from here to get the connection.

The last release of King Kung Fu may be different than what is shown. I got a video of it a long time ago and it was changed a lot from their original plan. What I had I think the escape down the side of the Holliday building and the crowd sceen was deleted.
