As the smells of the breakfast Little Sister * has set out the crew of the* SSBN Erehwon queue up and begin attacking the buffet with polite precision. The Captain found the officers standing in a circle around the chair. Captain, you need to eat. You’re but a shadow of your normal self.

The Captain nodded and stood, escorted to the front of the queue of crewmen and handed a plate that had the first item ready for consumption, a luscious pile of bacon cooked just right by the First Officer. At first the instinct was to protest the amount, however, a quick scan of the buffet noted a heaping platter added for the hungry mob, both ship’s crew and the denizens of the Big Top Shortly the feasting began, the crew and * Big Toppers *mingling amicably in the large, homey dining area.

When I was a young boy, I loved frogs so much I would tie my fishhook to them as to cause no pain. However I don’t believe I felt any pain when that large mouth would stretch his big mouth around my frog happily swimming away. I would actually feel pretty good as I paraded, er walked my bass, er frog home. Ah, the look on Mom’s face when she realized I had just changed her dinner plans. Frogs legs, er I mean, baked bass. Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbet. Someday I’ll tell you about tying a hook to my baby brother and trying to catch Gen Sherman at Mud Hole creek. It was a dark and stormy night.

Sojo, one of the most difficult parts will be getting the flatbed backed into my driveway. The snow is piled so high at the corners of the driveway entrance and the flatbed is so long. Getting the toolbox up will be fine once I get it started on the lip at the end of the bed. Securing it safely will also be difficult.

Little Sister! Snapping turtles live in bogs…..

But who lives in the tips of bogs?? (And do I really want to know?)

It could be worser: it could be a Bug Tap…

Good Afghan, Everybody!     (somebody stop that Spellcheck!)

This warm weather is playing havoc with the slush on the streets–but the snowpiles are still shrugging it off. And it’s really treacherous walking on the ice when the wind gusts. Walking west, I think I slid back one step for every two I took.

Chicken and dumplings are good–I’ve had a Bavarian cook (mom) do them, but never Southern style.

As much as I’d love to stay here and chat, I need to get off for the night. Need to get that hubby to bed, as 4 am comes too soon.

    Good night all!

Hi, Sojo! A pretty typical Sunday, so enjoyable, but not out of the ordinary. Worse part is that the dishwasher part that arrived Friday didn’t fix the dishwasher, so I’m starting the 4th week of doing dishes by hand. We made homemade pizzas for dinner, so dirtied a lot of pans. My hubby’s blood sugar has been too high, so he’s going back on the Atkins diet. He had a “crustless” pizza, the rest of us wanted crust.

Is it still Christmas? TCM had Miracle on 34th Street playing and now Going My Way is on. Love both - but especially the latter.

For both really, ♠Lonewolf♠. I’ve always played Going My Way at Christmas since I bought the movie. Of course, before I bought the movie, I saw it during the Christmas season.

Grog I think they are running every movie known to man that has an academy award nomination of some sort. Hence, The Miracle on 34th street etc. It does seem strange to have the C’mas movies now. I need to see the Bells of St. Mary’s.

Good night all. I feel sorry for Rmomand all those pans

Thanks, HopeandJoy! That certainly explains it. There were some awesome Christmas movies pumped out back then, But then, I can watch a movie like Going My Way any time of the year.

Good night to you and ♠Lonewolf♠. The movie is nearly over and I’m going to watch the finale and start sawing some logs after the movie’s done.

Shika Move to say I didn’t realize that The Bells Of St. Mary’s was actually the sequel to Going My Way. I should have known based on the similarity of the problems involved.
