We will have a very warm day for still winter time. 77° here. In March for states that do this time change. Are some of you getting ready to plan a spring vacation? Me not. I get no vacation even when no class time.

Hi Everyone…………….We returned from our trip yesterday afternoon, and boy were we lucky…….it started a wild wet snow storm about 3 hours later!!!

Sooooooo I turned in early last night, but had a fitful night’s sleep……I guess it was all that blasting, and potato launching, and poodle transmorgrafication!!!!!!!!!!

Now I’m hungry……so, I’ll take one of everything on Grog’s menu! YUM!!!

The weather has definitely deteriorated over the past 24 hours, and seems due to continue…windy and colder.

I have thought that various places use canons to trigger avalanches on dangerous slopes, and considered whether I should upgrade from the snow trebuchet–but I have decided that I really like the elegance of the trebuchet and will continue to use it.

Wink might want to use the cannon–but I don’t. Not even to shoot a clown with it.

By the way, I think Merriweather Lewis (of the Lewis and Clark Expedition) first noted the wind chill effect: on 10 February 1805, Lewis wrote

Hi, friends! bmonk - It is windy here, a “cold” front is expected to move in tonight. 77°F right now, only 66°F tomorrow. Compared to the temps we had a week or so ago, I’ll take this cold front. Of course now, they are warning us that severe weather (think tornadoes) season will be here soon.

Hi, Sojo! I’ve been getting some sorting done while my son commandeered my computer to do his school work. Slow going, but better than not at all.

Rmom - I’ll probably get out tomorrow even though it won’t be as warm (but less windy).

Sojo - I just hope that we don’t get severe weather with these warmer temps. T-storms are predicted on Saturday & Sunday, so there’s a chance.

No Thunder-boomers predicted for here–just possible snow today, and more again over the weekend. And about 9°F drop in the high each day to Sunday.

Hmmm–gocomics seems to be very slow to respond today.

They are about to steal my blood! After not letting me eat for over 12 hours! I don’t even get juice after : (

Hi, Grog!

We had clouds this a.m., then it cleared up in about 10 minutes time, and now the clouds are back–possibly with snow…

bmonk, we’re overcast but at least we’re in the 70’s. I was going to turn on the water to the sprinklers this week-end but, hold on a minute - we’ve got another freeze headed our way for next weekend. Hopefully that’ll be the last of it and we can get on with Spring.

I may be back later. If not, have a good evening.

Nope….. no vampires at the laboratory. Lots of psychotic vampires around these parts though.

Hi everyone. :-) I supposed you are wondering about the Mutated Poodle Hounds. Well it all started when I tried to be a molecular biologist and sneaky-like took a fur sample from Dusty Poodle. Then I went to see Calvin and Hobbes to borrow their transmogrifier machine but they weren’t home so I decided to borrow it anyways. Thats When Lio caught me red-handed and blackmailed me into letting him help me in the experiment. Eventually we got into an argument and I got mad and spilled Doc’s Nuclear coffee all over the DNA Sample and that’s how we ended up with mutated poodle hounds.

Well, I guess that explains a few things.

See! It wasn’t my fault. It was all Lio’s doing.

So it’s Lio’s fault. Of course he would pick poodles of all dogs. What would you expect from a Cybil the cat lover. And no I have no great love for Cybil either.

Well I’m going to try to capture some zzzz’s tonight and put them to good use. If I come up empty handed, I’ll probably be back at turnover.
