Hello everyone. We had dense fog here and The Sojourner we were out in that rain. At my mom’s house not far from a major hwy pea size hail and down pouring milky rain. I believe I saw those pictures your were talking about ♠Lonewolf♠.

At least rain is better then snow except in low areas where flooding occurs.

I see some discussion on gas prices yestre. Last week it was 3.19; then on Friday it jumped to 3.29–and today some local stations (near the Interstate) are asking 3.44.

There are some in this area at 3.55 per gallon for regular!

Really enjoyed walk with temp of 59°, damp and fog in view. Snow is vanishing AT LAST. Hi bmonk and ♥kab♥ Marilyn M is riding a raft-sort of thing down the river with Mitchum and little boy, on Fox Family.

Gas here was $3.03, now $3.19 and $3.21. With our grocery card we just topped off at $3.14….Whoopeeee????!!

Our temps are still a bit below melting. Which means that, where the dark is visible–like tree bark or asphalt–the sun gets it hot enough to melt, but most of the snow is just sitting there laughing at the sun.

We still have some piles of snow left from the big drop, but not much!

♠Lonewolf♠ excuse me for the blunder. I should have said video especailly about that cat. I showed my hubby and daughter and they were surprised with it. I emailed someone from my church who went NW of KS to Hays to I assume a small town gas there is $3.39. ♪Hopeandjoy♫ although $3.03 was nice while it lasted on gas prices. I do miss when gas was closer to $2.00 or less, but alas (*sigh) may never see those days again.

36° and holding here. Was supposed to hit 41, but doesn’t look as if it will make it. The few inches from the past couple of days is melting nicely though.

I believe we went over 41° here. Oh and I am telling myself if we in the future get nasty weather like hail or tornado warnings I will try my hardest in future not bring it up. I make no promises though. I realize in each are you all live you won’t get that type. Since some of you got more snow then us.

I think we’re in the upper 20s yet.

It’s 80F here today, and will be that way tomorrow before we go back down to upper 50’s lower 60’s for a few days. My hubby’s letting me use his car tomorrow for the a/c. I’m taking my car in next week for oil change and such, and will have the a/c fixed. Hopefully it won’t be an arm and a leg.

The Sojourner in your area and it is thunder outside, did you get any heavy rain in your area?

It looks like the worst part will pass just to the west althogh we might catch the edge of it. There’s another cell growing beside and behind it that might be more of a direct hit. Time will tell. The first storm I got a lot of 1/4 ” hail although these storms may produve up to quarter size hail. Rain is now starting.

The Sojourner yea we are just a little south of you and getting closer. Glad no sever threat. Rmom might get some in her area.

I take that back Rmom won’t see anything. We get a drenching.

Upper 40s today and outside of tornado watch so far. Supposed to get into the 20s with snow tonight. Tomorrow it should get into low 50s. A good weather end to February!

Just want to be able to get my oldest sister to a wound care clinic near KC safely tomorrow morning and home again without the snow materializing again as they are suggesting.

Just checking in……..we had 34 today, with a promise of 40 tomorrow!!! Love it! During our heat wave two weeks ago, our lemon tree sprouted some blossoms, and they are open now. I’ll have to get a brush and pollinate them, as I don’t want to invite the bees into the house.

Sounds interesting Montana Lady What do you put on the brush???

….duh…I mean like, where do you get pollen???? From little blossoms on the same tree…???

Hi, friends! We’re doing fine here, just keeping a close eye on the radar to see if we need to head to the basement. So far, just rain and wind. First my sister called, then my in-laws, so I just got off the phone.

I’ve filed my taxes, that’s how I’m getting the cars fixed. The Focus (which I just paid off, whoo–hooo!!) only needed the basic things done after 2 years of neglect, only $250. I had allotted $1000 for it, so I’m going to try and get the a/c fixed. Last summer was absolutely miserable.

Comics done reading. Time for some television.

Hi, Quaby, Wolfie & Sojo! Quaby - Only $250? Good deal! I know it is miserable here in the summer in any car w/o working a/c, I’m sure it is for you, too. Sojo - I just finished reading a book written by a National Park Ranger, and part of the time he was stationed in Yellowstone. Some interesting stories! There is a link on the NPS Yellowstone page to some videos of the wild animals attacking stupid visitors who got too close. Well, trying to get some other stuff done. See y’all tomorrow, I hope!

♠Lonewolf♠ - It was on PBS. go to www.pbs.org and go to Watch Videos then choose Nature to view the shows you can watch over the internet. That show is not on yet but may be later. It was titled Encounters with Bears and Wolves. It may not be on the internet yet because it was just shown. There are other shows though about wolves. Choosing to filter the results with ‘Animals’ may show more avalible shows.
