I have actually had and served on one jury duty that should not gone to trial. Based on stolen check the one accused didn’t know was stolen. Bank pushed for trial. Guy found not guilty. I’m waiting for instructor new assignment. I have already checked in. So glad my writing lab is done. For essay’s not sure I will pass.

I was on a jury once–a civil case where the plaintiff wanted money from an off-duty cop and the City of Xxxxx for getting shot in the foot while he and three of his buddies were advancing on a guy waving a gun and the guy’s girlfriend. We didn’t have too much sympathy for the guy–at least not to spending taxpayer more money on him.

Hmmm–a hot breakfast would be nice today. Let’s go classic: Eggs over easy Hash browns bacon Docs world famous Nuclear Coffee Vegetable juice (V8)

I’m on my Spring Break or Spring Recess That’s what my college calls it.

Not much to do right now so I guess I’ll go to work early.

Hello I will be leaving very soon. CBS has decided to ask Charlie Sheen to come back on the show. I agree he gets way too much publicity. I don’t even watch that show. Though why take it out on his co-stars, they didn’t do anything outside of being hired to be on that show.

My daughter came real close to being on jury duty but got off. I won’t say all due to senor’s. Was based on a disabled young lady being S assaulted by a man.

One I told you some time ago, I went to a technical college, my hubby was on jury duty and the victim happened to go to same campus. I said nothing to either until over then told hubby about it. Only reason I found out I mentioned my hubby on some jury duty not knowing what type and the student was the defendant in court at that time. Found the intruder guilty. Bye all

Hello serena - Hope it’s getting warmer where you are.

It is warming up a bit. It is about -5C rather than -30 or so. Almost feels like a heat wave. But the snow and ice still do not seem to be in any hurry to go. We STILL do not have a furnace, but at least it is sort of livable.

We have been trying to do some upgrades on our house. The kitchen is nearly done. We are just waiting for our new countertop. Even now it looks ever so much better. We are also repairing and painting the living room. I want it all done and get rid of all this MESS. We’re going to need a BIG truck to haul all of this garbage away in the spring.

serena - Your house should be nice by the time you get your furnace.
