Well, I was “cooking” all day today……….

First, was vegetable beef barley soup………….alllllll day……. the house smelled so good!!!! Lots left for the Tribe!

Then, for dinner, I made shrimp and chicken egg rolls. They’re big enough so 3 is a whole meal.! Of course, enough to feed the whole tribe again.

Woke up to licences jingling against collar. Pulled on clothes, grabbed leash, and went out in the pre-dawn cold. Stood like an idiot with my little plastic bag in my soaked slippers. Brought the ungrateful hound in to find a dark circle in the carpet. “I”ll, take care of it, feed it, and take it for walks every day.” Do all men fall for that line? My cats only demand, er need feeding twice a day. Their litter boxes need only to be as clean as a hospital operating room. They only demand attention during waking hours (their’s, not mine). A cat shows affection my kneeding my knee with their claws.

On the talk of pets. My daughter brought home a male reddish orange cat. We had declawed and fixed. She loved playing with him when little. Those back claws watch out. He is older and tends to himself. Now he is older he has to attend to me insist on being petted when I go to BR. My daughter and her guy insisted on a dog and then another one. The female wasn’t loved by prior owner and the little boy loves and hogs all the attention. We give the female lots of attention. They both tend to their own dogs.

I’ve seen that commercial myself and know what she is referring to. For me I’m free of that.

We woke up this morning to………..

    SNOW!!!

only about 1/2 inch here, and 4 inches up at the ski resort. More snow is supposed to come later. We get these surprise snow showers until mid June……:))))

The animals and birds love it because they get water all over the place as it melts. And, then the wild grasses all get watered for their food.

Would any of you in the south like Ooops to come over and use her grape shooter to send you some snow??

Grog that commercial Woopie does is fairly new. Yes I agree big eye opener. Though I seen one more funnier than that one. Not based on what Woopie is trying to sell and I thought she be done with that. One better I am talking about involves young boys, outside, tree, slingshot, and I can’t remember kid with clothes basket and mom standing there watching. There have been part commericals that have been very funny and some that need to be dumped.

Ooops! oddly enough the only time my back feels remotely good flat is in the tub. Last night I slept in a firmer upstairs bed. I initially went to sleep on my side and as usual, I woke up on my back and in pain. I’m not doing that again tonight. I’m sleeping in my recliner. It’s the only other place I feel no pain. And I’ll be sure to take a couple of Advil before I do.

By the way, I’m too tall, or my tub’s too small for me to lay completely straight. Although my legs will be bent, so would my head & neck.

Well…. get a bigger tub! Your tub should reach from the top of your head to the bottom of your bottom with your legs in the air at ninety degrees with an extra inch or two.

Magnum PI comes on after this show but I usually watch the news as I go to bed as I have seen all of the Magnum shows. If I’m interested the A-Team comes on after that I think.

Right, Ooops! I’ll have the existing one ripped out of its built in location and have a new one installed, just for you, at obscene expense. Are you going to pay for it?

Oh, wait. It won’t fit. You lucked out…..this time!

Hi, friends! Ooooops! - I think you would really enjoy watching Magnum P.I. There are a lot of shots of Tom Selleck’s cute butt in tight jeans. (Just watched several episodes recently.)

Hi, Grog & Sojo! Well, that last comment got me in trouble with my sons. One happened to come over to my desk for a hug, read it and got “creeped out”. Of course, just kissing my husband will do that to them too.

Tom Selleck is easy on the eyes. Of course, I like the fact that he actually knows how to use guns, unlike Daniel Craig.

Sojo - Did you have any problems with our hurricane force winds on Friday? We had the unpleasant experience of a tire choosing that night to shred. Thankfully my hubby could get a signal on his phone, and got our oldest to come do most of the work. It was a bitterly cold night!

Rmom - No problems here unless that was the cause of my internet problems. If it was my provider won’t admit it.

Our internet was out on Sunday morning, but it was back up when we got home from church. I’m guessing some maintenance, but of course, they don’t usually tell us. I was really glad we could get our son to help, or else I would have had to get out in the cold to assist. Plus, he brought a floor jack from our garage, which is better than fussing with the rinky-dink jack that is in the trunk. It is iffy getting a signal with the hills in that area. I couldn’t get one on my at&t, but he could with his work phone that’s on Verison.

Reminded me of this quote: “If somebody has a bad heart, they can plug this jack in at night as they go to bed and it will monitor their heart throughout the night. And the next morning, when they wake up dead, there’ll be a record.” –Mark S. Fowler, FCC Chairman

Glad you liked the humor! I got word today that I’ve got another aliment that I’ve been expecting. Low thyroid. Both of my parents had it & a brother does, so figured it was just a matter of time. At least it only requires taking a medicine. I’m falling apart. Oh well, someday I guess it will be me “waking up dead!” I need to turn in for the night. Good night!

I don’t remember the exact words but this was from a real court case. A lawyer was asking a doctor if he checked to see if the person he was going to do an autopsy on was dead. He asked if he checked to see if he was breathing, No. Did he check to see if he had a pulse? No. Why? His brain was in a jar beside the table. And you assumed he was dead? I guess he could of been a lawyer.

From a lawyer questioning the coroner: Q: Do you recall approximately the time that you examined the body of Mr. Edington at the Rose Chapel? A: It was in the evening. The autopsy started about 8:30 p.m. Q: And Mr. Edington was dead at the time, is that correct? A: No, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was doing an autopsy!
