Sorry, Saskfan, but I have to draw the line at jelly beans. The idea that someone would want ruin their eggs fried in bacon grease with jelly bean sprinkles just turns my stomach.

I finally got the strip up too Grog – LOL

I usually read that & others at the Daily Ink. You pay for it, but there isn’t the frustration of dealing with SeattlePI and their adds. To me the Daily Ink is well worth it, even though you can’t make any comments on the strips.

With my Norton, I don’t get the pop-ups, but sometimes it is sooooo slow.

Not popups really, but all the ads around the strip and on the bottom of the screen annoy me. And it’s usually slow for me, too.

Still no update at 2C&C

Gocomics has a definite glitch when it comes to updating all the strips.

I’m finding GoComics to be rather lethargic today, too.

Little Sister I did get your email and also read yesterday’s comment. Not sure how to reply to your news.I am currently on our very slow desk top. Turns out the pin where cord plugs into lap top is broken. I do not have $149 for repair or replacement on that pin. Little Sister unless you wish to try for fb since anyone can see this, on our desk top computer internet the email is so slow not sure mail will go.

Officailly here we are on count down time. 7/28 is my mom’s surgery for overnight. I have been busy going shopping for her. Her weight, this will be strange to for most to hear for some wish to loose weight, including me, for her weight needs to go up lets say 7pds more. My mom is gaining more on body mass very needed for this surgery. She starved herself too much. Ensure with bone drink we hope helps her bones to. She is still very sore in her lt side of her back muscle.

We’ve enjoyed a picnic in the park, and now I don’t know if I should have a nap or go cycling again. There are a trio of WWII trainer aircraft flying across Canada, and they’re here today.We watched a biplane flying over downtown Regina yesterday, Oh, here comes the Harvard!! Gotta go watch it!

Just checking in, Tribe……………EXTREMELY busy with all kinds of events from the wedding……….Just getting dressed for a BBQ for all of us July birthday people, and then two more days of dinners and fun before we head on home.

The wedding was absolutely fabulous……a very elegant reception, and of course this mother of the groom was teary eyed the whole time.

BMonk: Hello, Brother. 31ºC t 18:00 hrs, and 38% humidity here now. 4 hours of cycling at a leisurely pace today; I could get used to that on a regular basis. Say, across the country? No money for a holiday, though, and my Beloved and the Youngest Son don’t cycle. So no cross-country trips until we’ve got the money for a tandem recumbent tricycle. Lot$ of dollar$ for one of tho$e, though, $o that’$ lot likely, either. :(

This weekend has been nice. Spent most of yesterday doing some maintenance work for my church. Today was a day rest watching the finish of the British Open and the Women’s World Cup finals. I was happy for Darren Clarke winning his first major. Disappointed that the few mistakes team USA made wind up costing the championship, Kudos to team Japan for taking advantage of opportunities.

Thunderdog – I also watched the British Open yesterday and today but did not have acces to the World Cup Finals. Glad Clarke won and it sounds like the Cup would of been good to see.

Both were on ESPN. Oh well. Time for this East Coaster to head to bed. Have a good nite!
