Good Morning Wyntre – Welcome to the Big Top! This strip is in re-runs and has few comments to it. All who meet here are the tribe including you! The menu is tradition to be posted by the first person to comment. The only thing is we don’t talk about politics, religion (although good thoughts and prayers for those who need or request them is okay) and play nice, that is, not to get into arguments but to have a place to enjoy each other. Other people may be better at explaining this than I am.

Good morning, Tribsters (and others), including, Wyntre, Sojo, & Grog!+++++I’ll have some French Toast, if possible, with a side order of French Fries, washed down with some Chardonnay. And escargot as an appetizer. +++++I might not be good company today—last night was too hot and muggy. And tonight and tomorrow look worse, if possible. :-( It’s—high heat with humidity—not supposed to break until Wednesday night. SRMom, I’d have been happy with you guys not sharing this sort of weather. ;-)

I try to get most of my books used or check them out from the library. I have a bunch of books ready to be donated to the library (they sell used books) if I don’t chicken out. Checking out books saves me money and space, so now I try to only buy books I know I will want to read five zillion times. Unfortunately, Monkey2 is a bad influence.

Hello again. I see a lot of people with books. Yes I know there is a machine called the Kindle if one can afford it. I was reading on the Borders site comments made. Some do not like to go to Library especially if reading a series. One part series they read as they claimed could be checked out or in book case ready to be put back. Me I am trying to avoid series. Tell your daughter that 1890 American History book is real history of that past time frame.

♥Kab♥ – When you get your laptop fixed (or maybe use the desktop) Kindle Software is free from them to read their books. Other readers also have free software for computers. If you like books that the copyright has expired you can get those free to use with the reader.

The Sojourner believe this I have checked those sites out. I have personal books from past I have boughten are past shelf life. I thought Kindle cost to load books. My former boss bought one for himself and his mom. Oh I do not have very good spell check here. I did try to download. Some of those free books have complete chapters others just tempt and tease a reader without ending knowing how did the author end the story.

We have some good used book stores, and the library is a lot easier to use with the ability to order the books online. If you know when they are coming out or just keep a list of ypur favorite authors handy you can often get them soon after they come out. Also for series, I can order all the books at once but put the start dates different so they are waiting at the library for me when I am ready. This is really good for DVD series too.

Kab Sister, you can get a Kindle Reader free for you computer at amazon. They also have many free and not free books you can download. There are other places to download free books as well, most of them are classics like Mark Twain, Moby Dick, Sherlock Holmes, or just books that are out of copyright. Sometimes authors will allow current or recent books to be released to increase their readership base.
