You know the day’s getting off to a bad start when you can’t access the cartoons when you get up in the morning. I should have stayed in bed. Things only got worse from there.

Weather here says breezy and cool thru as far as they are willing to say. Slight chance of storms a few days and nights. Odd—from today’s overcast, I thought they might be this afternoon, but they say not.

I just had my usual breakfast, toast and coffee. But I might be interested in a sordid omelet—as long as it’s not too dirty, or the right sort of dirt—this site says “dirty eggs” (in the South) are eggs over easy cooked after bacon, so the eggs pick up the bacon “dirt”. Yum!

Oh, and a bit of bell pepper or mushroom, onions, and the like would be good too.

It was at least from 4:30 AM CDT. Not sure when it came back, but I was finally able to access the site when I got into work.

We are back over 100 again for the next 3 days at least. We have some small chances for rain coming for Friday and the weekend.

Should be low 90s today but then cooling off again. Poss. rain Tuesday night and the high Thursday may only be in the 60s but then warm up into the 70s and 80s.

Off to lunch. If I do make it back later, it’ll likely be MUCH later.

Hello all. I cannot access gc normal way. Had to put bt after gc. Did go to state fair hubby and I, seen a great cowboy comedy all corny had a great laugh. Temps high close to 100°. If SRMom went to state fair I do not know. There were other women and older on scooters.

Oh I should say refresh does work just not going through gc site.

Hi, friends! We went to the fair today, I’ve sunburned my forearms, but I wore a hat, so my face isn’t too bad. Other than on Saturday, rode in the Miata with the top down, and didn’t have a hat then, so got some red that day.I’m going to work with my hubby this week. If it doesn’t rain too much, I’ve got a big painting project his boss is waiting for me to do. Considering the weather here in KS, there’s a very short window between “too hot” and “too cold” to paint, so I need to get it done soon. See you later!
