I’ve done some boating in Montreal. I’ve even done the tour boat thing, but no sailing. I still consider myself a landlubber even though I was a 5-minute walk from the river – Pooey Louise as some have called it.

Galveston Bay is less than 10 miles away from me now. I haven’t even set foot on so much as a cabin cruiser.

I’ve also seen the seaport that is furthest from the open ocean in all the world. And even been in the water there—briefly. (50º is COLD even in August1)

I had a homemade sailboat (2 sails and a cabin). In high winds with the waves would hit the front of the boat and go over the back. I would have to stand on the cabin and release the boom to reef the main sail to keep from capsizing as the boat bounced around in the waves.

Carefull, LuvBFooFoo, I just might get you all wet. All I have to do is shake.

I tried talking like a pirate and got seasick…. Maybe a couple of dozen pop tarts washed down with gallons of DWFNC will settle it down….GOODMORNING/AFTERNOONTRIBEANDALL!!.Pageant update…. top 15 and most photogenic…. she’s not happy…. lots of competitors supporters thought she should have made top 5… I’ll never understand how the judging works, but I’m very proud of that girl and her mom.Kicking adversity’s butt is what they do best…. I think pageants are their outlet. There’s a lot of people in this country living a little safer because of them..Ok – got somethin in my eye… BBL.Play nice (((((TRIBE)))))

Too bad, Plods. I’d say it’s all rather subjective. The ones we pick personally never make it, whether it pageants, best song of the year or best movie.
