Very quiet this afternoon. It probably won’t pick up much tonight either. I guess I’ll go start dinner & a movie & come back later.

We’re supposed to get a cold front moving in tonight. It wasn’t too bad of weather today – sunny and high in the 50’s. However, tomorrow the high is to be in the 30’s and possibility of frozen precipitation. I didn’t enjoy my day – went to the dentist and found out I’ve got to have another crown & a filling. Not a surprise, but not good news.

I know it is harder for me to hang around the computer for long, now that my homeschooling days are over. Too much other stuff needs to be done that isn’t at my desk. Although, with me getting our tax stuff organized, I might be here a little more often until I get that task finished.

I’ve got all my own teeth, and only my wisdom teeth are missing. My parents died in their 80’s without false teeth, so I’ve got decent genes there. If I hadn’t drank so much pop (has acid beside sugar) through the years, I might have better teeth than I do. Because I’ve had multiple root canals & crowns.

I’m still missing at least one 1099. But we’ve had so many medical bills this year, that we will be able to deduct some of them. This is the first year we’ve had enough to deduct, so I hadn’t been making copies of our receipts. But since the ink on thermal paper disappears before the auditing possibility is past, I’m trying to get all the documentation copied while I still can. I’m disappointed that our credit union doesn’t keep the links working to our cancelled checks for more than a couple or so months. I’m guessing that if we pay a fee, we can get a copy, but not free after then. I’ve got the check numbers, but will hold off on getting copies of the cancelled checks unless we actually get audited, if I’ve got to pay to get them.

Sometimes it pays to pay for the service. In Canada I paid and got my cancelled checks back with my statement. I got to admit, having the original is better than looking up copies online.

I’m not even sure that option is available now. Because if it was, I probably would have picked it. I now know that I’d better print/save any check copies that I think I might need in the future when I reconcile to the statement.

You’re making me hungry! I probably should have fixed a good supper for my husband, but I told him to call me around 6, so I could plan, because he said he might stop somewhere to eat. When he hadn’t called by 7, I figured he wasn’t going to eat here. I think he was disappointed when he called at 7:45pm that I didn’t have supper cooking, but the boys and I don’t eat a big meal when he’s not around.

    Hi, ♠Lonewolf♠.

Every once in a while I enjoy having breakfast for supper – especially when I add some Bush’s beans (maple flavored) to the plate. It becomes like having a dinner at one of those Quebec sugar shacks.

I baked him an apple pie last night, and he took 1/2 of it with him this morning. I’m guessing if he sees my part in the fridge, he’ll be trying to snatch some of it.

I’ve often eaten breakfast food at supper. In the mornings, I’m not usually up to fixing a big breakfast until about 11, but I do like a lot of the traditional breakfast foods. Last week for Groundhog Day, I made pancakes & sausage for supper. It was a tradition in my family.
