Fellow Baby, I’ll bring homemade fried chicken (none of that fast food stuff), pickled cauliflower, knockwurst and Boarshead horseradish (I found some), chili and crackers, and Clamatto for the drinks. Anything else you need?
Umm, who is Fellow Baby? I gather Sugie is the one who has cats, one recently having had surgery of some sort. This feels like some sort of private club with passwords only the member know.
But that’s kind of nice. It makes for a warm, loving place to visit. But I kind of wish I was included.
Hello, puppybreath. Dry and I call eachother Fellow Baby because of our common love of WKRP In Cincinatti. Dr. Johnny Fever referred to his listeners as Fellow Babies.

Fellow Baby, sounds delish. I’ll supply the roast beast, Inglehoffer’s horseradish (in case you prefer it), honey mustard, a shallot & cellery platter and of course the Smirnoff Vodka.
Yes I think the Steelers will blow the Jets out of the water. Maybe not though. Playoff games for the most part, over the years are always full of surprises.
With no TV I have to live vicariously through you two. If my team isn’t in the playoffs I tend to hope for the underdog. So far…one down. Although, in the second game I have been a Steeler’s fan since Mean Joe Green and of course the steel curtain.
Then cleo my man you are in GOOD shape! Oh yes, how could I have forgotten the Iron Curtain! And what did they call the LA Rams front four when Merlin Olson was playing? If memory serves, they were unstoppable also, back in the day
I guess it is time to totally ignore pasty face and go back to my team for the Super Bowl. Brett’s not coming back, and I’ve been a cheesehead since forever. Cowboys too until Jerry Jones came on board, so. Always hated the Steelers because they always beat Landry/Meredith/Staubach for some reason.
Fellow Baby, I, too, will be cheering for the Pack. Can’t stand the Steelers going all the way back to the Steel Curtain days and beyond. Of course, as luck would have it, my boss is from the Steel City. Still has his season tickets.
cleo, I hope you will have a Superbowl party to go to. I’d hate for you to have to count on the play by play account of what’s going on from us. Besides, my big screen is downstairs and my computer is connected upstairs….and unfortunately that’s the way it’s got to be.
I’m calling it a night now. I’ll catch up with any other posts in the morn.
Goodnight Fellow Baby! Super Bowl 45! Geez talk about feeling old! I remember the first one, mind you, I was just a wee one, but I remember my dad telling me to “Pipe down”. LOL! I do get enthused about football! I think I even embarrass my kids sometimes, but they are used to their mom! :-D

Grog, I don’t think Mel will catch a cold, I believe the cold caught him. Plenty of ice for cocktail hour.
Good Sunday Morning to you Grog, Dry & sugie!

*Fellow Baby sounds wonderful. As does the shallot and celery platter!
sugie yes one should be rested for the big games today! 2 good ones coming up
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 14 years ago
Well Fellow Baby and sugie, that party’s over, for the Bears anyway. Now on to the Steelers and Jets. For a while there, it was a ball game!
GROG Premium Member almost 14 years ago
Yup, I knew it would close. I just didn’t think the Bears would get 2 TD’s from their 3rd string QB.
I have a feeling this next one won’t be so close.
