If you don’t like the program change the channel. If you can’t find a good program turn it off and read a book, write a letter, talk to someone or comment on gocomics LOL.
TALK TO SOMEONE? Do you mean in person, or on that ” thingamajig” they now refer to as a landline?
Any by turn off the tv, do you mean with that control “zipper/zapper” thing, or actually get up off that sofa and walk forward towards the set to physically touch the set, to there by touch the button that turns it off?
cleo, I know my vacations work out pretty much the same way as you describe. I suppose when I retire I won’t know Monday from Sunday if it weren’t for the Sunday comics.
The movies I’ll be watching through Thursday are Rhubarb, Rio Bravo, Rio Grande & Rio Lobo. I’m going to enjoy this.
cleo, I can’t say I’m a big McQueen fan. I do have 3 of his titles though: The Great Escape, The Magnificent 7 & Hell Is For Heroes. (I loved the Bob Newhart scenes in the latter).
The Sand Pebbles was also good, but I don’t have it.
I am a bigger fan of Bogie, Cagney and The Duke. I have many more of their titles and of course certain Hitchcock favorites as far as directors go.
Well, they all work in my book, but I too, loved Steve McQueen, and the Great Escape, well there again, another GREAT ensemble cast, and one of the GREATEST movies!
And Fellow Baby Said it before, I’ll say it again, “Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!” You have got to see it! I promise, I think you will laugh your @ss off, honest!

With all the channels, you would think that couldn’t happen. But it does!

And with no TV, I am the lack of audience that programmers dread!
Welcome to another soon to be over week Grog, Dry & sugie!

Network tv really stinks these days! Except for CSI’s and L&O’s.
Good morning Fellow Baby, sugie, and cleo!
And you are right, cleo, this week will be over before we know it!

Too bad you don’t have a DVD collection, Mel. That’s what I turn to more often than not.
The week has only just begun, cleo, sugie & Fellow Baby!

Hmm, I wonder if they’re re-syncing the comic so it actually fits the day of the week (normally Monday would be showing a Sunday strip).
