But there are times when the quality time would be better than what’s on.

Good Morning, cleo, sugie & Fellow Baby!

Fellow Baby, TCM would be my first choice because of the absense of commercials, but if I see it on AMC or FMC I will watch it there, but the movie will really drag.

Cold, Fellow Baby! The temperature dropped from 63 to 38 by lunch. We’re not expecting snow though until Thursday-Friday. Not sure of exact timing or how much.

You mean this storm missed you? I saw the news and the Packers and Steelers were saying how they brought the snow with them. I guess another storm is coming in for the weekend here, but not like this one.

Yeah, most of my Dallas counterparts worked from home today. We may be doing the same Friday, but I hope not.

Are you sick of winter yet?

I love summer, the heat, humidity, long days of sunshine, the smell of fresh mowed grass,,thunder storms, etc. ; I do like a massive snow storm, if everyone is home safe, but the problem is, it just doesn’t go away the next day. Pretty to watch, and then that’s enough!

Yeah, I always liked a storm on Christams Eve. But once that’s over, be gone until next Christmas..

I’ll never forget the ice storm in Montreal over a decade ago. Power outages virtually everywhere. At my place it lasted for almost 2 weeks. I stayed at a downtown hotel until it was restored.

One of the worst experiences I ever had. What a wierd winter it was. Thunderstorms in January in Montreal just don’t happen. But it did that year.

When’s the ice storm coming? Hopefully it won’t be a severe storm - but everyone appears to be getting strong winds to go with their share of the storm’s fury.

Fellow Baby it’s started. Power is out in some surrounding areas. There have been a few electric company trucks out already, and they have cancelled school again for tmr.Yes, I hope it won’t be severe. Back in ‘93 we had one HECK of a snowstorm, it was BAD. Our neighbor died in that storm, had a heart attack after he was done shoveling his driveway. He was only in his early 60’s.

Stay warm & safe, Fellow Baby. Don’t go out there if you don’t have to.
