Thank you one and all (to Dry,Lonewolf,cleokaya,sugie63, puppybreath)—All the good wishes and positive energy that you sent our way meant so much to us. So far, we’re feeling very encouraged that it might be a bladder infection or arthritis flare-up – both of which are treatable ailments, so Quincy Jack is now on anti-biotics and he does seem to have perked up a bit! The vet did mention the possiblilty of Cushing’s Disease, which is difficult to diagnose and treat (Quincy’s brother, Andy, had that and passed on 10/09).
Anyway, the shivering is something that dogs do when in pain, which I didn’t know after a lifetime of having dogs! It’s hard not to worry when your beloved dog is elderly.
All of you have been so supportive, as only fellow dog-lovers would be, of course. Sugie 63”s quote yesterday really says it all…
Again, thank you all. You’re a great bunch of people! I will keep you all posted re: our hoped-for continued progress.
And, I have to add, finally, that I love the little girl’s “goalpost” pig tails!!!
StelBel Pets are a part of the family, if they aren’t, people shouldn’t own them! I have had dogs and cats both most of my life.. Right now, I am the proud owner of some very sweet rescue kitties, and hoping to get another dog soon. I am glad that things are looking better for Quincy Jack! :-)
Stelbel, know that we are with you at least in spirit. My Tina went through a time earlier this year and everyone helped pull her through. She is now as fiesty as ever. In fact she is now trying to help me type this comment :-D
What would we do without our furry children?
StelBel, I am happy to know that there has been something of an upturn in Quincy Jack’s condition. You both have been in my thoughts so much and I wish you many happy, fun filled, healthy days ahead.
My furry, four legged kids, both dogs and cats, have been so much a part of my life and have brought me so much joy that I can only grateful to have had them.
It is so scary and fills one with such apprehension when one of them becomes very ill.
We all care about you both and are sending loving thoughts and positive energy your way and hope to hear happy news soon, that Quincy Jack is “all better”.
Libraries might have a MEDIA room, but you’d STILL have to be quiet. And if the dog yells, “Gooooooaaaaaaalllllll!” the Librarian is gonna throw his dog a s s OUT!

I will continue to hope for the best with Quincy Jack. There is nothing that I can do to ease your worry, so I will just worry along with you StelBel
Fergus, being annoying doesn’t do much to aid concentration on homework.
Good Morning Dry, sugie &Grog!

StelBel, sorry I didn’t add to the support until now. I was a little under the weather with some shivers of my own yesterday.
She hasn’t got the Football Fever, Fergie.
Good Evening, cleo, sugie & Fellow Baby!
