Seems like Shoe fits right in with the Members Of U S senate & House of Representatives and te State of Arizona Senate and House they never get anything done .
Jeff MacNelly, the late creator of SHOE, was also a masterful editorial cartoonist who skewered a wide range of political targets here and abroad. I like the way his heirs have continued his modus operendi in his daily strip.
(I do miss MacNelly’s yearly spoof of the United Nations, which I laughingly discussed with his widow via e-mail. Where else but in a MacNelly spoof could you encounter a delegate from “The Democratic, Free, Easygoing, Nice People’s Republic of Dungeon”?)
