And I’m nearing the end when it all gets blowed up real good.

The first time I saw that movie was when it was on a public television fund raising drive back when I was living in Montreal in the 80’s.

…as a child, in the early/mid 70s.

I saw many of my favorite classic movies on public televison long before I even knew of TCM. As I recall, the station was located in Poland Spring, Maine. They showed some great classic flicks on a Sunday afternoon/evening.
