First, congratulations on the new addition to your family! So, let me see if I got it straight: this is your nephew’s second boy?So, that would make you a great-uncle for the second time and your mom would be a great, great grandmother? Is that right??? Yay for all of you! Happy news!! (I will be a great aunt for the 1st time in early-October.)

oh, come on stel ol’ bel, we can all sit around the christmas tree on christmas morn, sipping some warm, slightly spiked egg nog , look lovingly into each other’s eyes and exchange christmas gifts.and then sip some more egg nog.gosh, stel, other people can read our comments. darn! somehow, our carefully constructed sigma code has been cracked! I thought NObody would crack that code that stel sent the other day. the one about being clear.curse you, codebreakers!.wuz(2), chill. there’s no in or out crowd here. just be nice. surely you can see that calling people names or making fun of their looks is not perceived as humorous anymore. The secretary of steaks is the best mom to have..nighthawks that’s a great way to deal with our differences, just don’t forget to bring the steaks next time. Faulty yard sticks are everywhere these days. I think they’re made in China.

Ye Gads, talk about dated! Some strips hold up pretty well to the test of time but not this thread. Buddy has been dead for 10 years now—hit by a car. Socks (the cat) on the other hand lived until 2009.

Ignore him, so far, so far I stress, he isn’t so bad this time around, but last time he was here, he was a nasty one. Just ignore him totally! You are better off.

noicant your mom looks like a SWEET DEAR LADY! HANG IN THERE, as hard as it can be, you won’t regret it! Been there, so I sort of kind of know what you are going through! My mom and dad were well enough to still live on their own, but Daddy would panic, and everytime the phone rang in the middle of the night, well, many long nights spent in the ER. Wasn’t easy, but she was my mom, my mom, who did so much for me and my kids and hubby and so many others! She was a GREAT LADY in so many ways!
