Hi, Shika. I started my movie late because I had to run that errand to the Hobby Lobby. But I did say a couple days ago that I wanted to watch these movies without distractions. I was positivly riveted to this one tonight, particularly in the last hour.

i got mom to the respite group this morning and went to my once-a-month support group.it is such a relief listening to other people that are also dealing with the same problems i am.i have also discovered that i am a rare fish. these people are mostly dealing with the fact that there loved ones are in “homes”. they are amazed that i chose to be moms caregiver.i don’t know what to think. one wife just got finished settling her husband into a group home and is feeling good about not having to worry about her husbands safety, but she is also feeling guilty and lonely.another put her alcoholic father into a lock down to save his life, and feels guilty about that.i don’t think i need to feel like I’m doing something wrong by trying to do it all myself.tomorrow i am going to talk to a V.A. rep about some financial help for the cost if the adult day care. if i get the max i could afford to have mom in two days a week, and longer visits.i might, if that happens, think about getting me a fishing license. or a little job. or a coffee date with an adult…

i also discovered “stumble upon”.yes i am going to need to trim my comic list.

im going to “toon tour” ill be back…

noicant, no need ever to feel guilty about looking after your mom. You are getting help and doing a great job of loving her and looking after her. I think that is awesome. Not everyone could do that, including me.
