Fellow Baby, if we go back far enough, I was one of the pioneers of the graphic post here. However, I do it all the time for a number of reasons. I give myself a half hour in the morning to view and possibly comment on as many strips as I possibly can. There’s really no time to look for pictures.
When I’m on my office computer, I will check out the rest of the strips if time allows. But I will not post pictures because many are blocked anyway and I do not click on links either. There’s no way of knowing for sure where that link will take me.
During the evening hours, pretty much all my posts are from my iPad. Guarenteed I’ll not be posting pictures from this contraption.
Hi, Shika. When I’m commenting at 4:15 AM there are much fewer comments to sift through. Then, when I eventually come back, I just pick up from where I commented. It goes better that way.
outstanding Stel ol’ bel, I think you have it covered…..FIVE F—-A—-L—-S—-E—-H—-O—-O—-D—-S!makes me want to go out and sing xmas carols and hang cheap junk on a dead treehope that feeling passes pretty soon!
No I don’t, Shika. I may buy some for next weekend. It’ll be a long weekend for me. I won’t need to buy b-b-cue suace. I’ve got plenty waiting to be painted on pig.
Sometimes I do, Shika. But I’ve got a bottle of sauce that needs to be consumed before it’s time to be tossed. I can’t think of a better way to go than on a rack of ribs.
StelBel, that version wasn’t as bad as I thought. I needed a good laugh and then a good cry, followed by feelings of resentment, irritation and…….love.
I can’t even keep up with this! Late to the party, and you pay dearly! Well, nighthawks, LOVE IT! YOU REALLY HAVE A TALENT! Your strip is EXCELLENT, SIR!
Sorry to hear that, Shika. That is my pack it in for the night song. It’s pretty much from the perspective of the performers as the show’s come to a close and their lives on the road.
And I hate karaoke. There are very few people who can do a cover of a great song justice. Most of the people who go up there are just hackers on one beer too many. I know. Some buddies of mine made me and my best buddy do Benatar and, because we were both wearing dark suits, The Blues Brothers.. We were actually cheered, but I knew we were as bad as the rest of drunken bums out there who got on stage.
To all my friends…my daughter-in-law is supposed to have surgery some time early this week. They want to put pins in her spine to give it strength. Then they are going to take out as much of the “mass” as they can. I suppose they will also start chemo and radiation but I really don’t know.So please keep praying it really does help :-)
Fellow Baby like I said, we would have a GREAT JAM SESSION. I also love the Pretenders. Glad you like “Angelina … You must also hear *”PROMISES"* by the Badlees. GREAT SONG! And as I said, they are LOCAL boys, local as being born and raised or gone to college within 40 minutes of here and closer.
sugie I hope all will go well. You have been in my prayers since you first told us about this. Hopefully, they can help her and even cure her. Sounds like she has a rough road ahead, but with love and support, we humans can do wonderaus things.
Sugie, my wife had a spinal cord injury 12 years ago. Lately she has been having more severe mobility issues. She went in for 3 MRIs and has found that she has significant changes in both jer neck and lower spine. We anxiously await her appointment with a specialist.

It doesn’t do anything for me, StelBel. Right now I’m thinking of The Load Out & Stay by Jackson Browne. And I know all the words.

Did you ever google “The Badlees” or “Bridges in a Bottle” and if so, what did you think?
And as I recall, you are also a fan of “Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band”, correct?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 12 years ago
Do you like Annie Lennox, Fellow Baby?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 12 years ago
Hey Shika!
GROG Premium Member about 12 years ago
Sorry there, Happy, but I never been a fan of the Neils, neither Diamond or Young. And there’s a certain Gordon I won’t listen to either.

I have actually seen Gordon Lightfoot in his boxer shorts. I would prefer that it was Fergie or Gwen Stefani.
