To StelBel and all the gang – great stuff as usual yesterday! I like to ‘observe’ from a distance…You are in my thoughts, Sugie and don’t ‘cry, Dry’ – I have it on good authority that No6 is not ignoring you! Apparently you were one of the first to greet him when he ‘arrived’ at GoComics… BCNU.
As long as there is hope, anything is possible. You and your family and most especially, your daughter -in-law, have so many people from across the country, and, indeed, around the world, hoping and praying for her recovery. Keep strong.♥♥♥

Yeah, we should be getting some nicer, dryer weather by mid-week with morning temps going down to the low 60’s. I can’t wait to turn off the a/c and open the windows ll day & night.
It is best not to lie when trying to make a connection for a date. It will become obvious if you do.Dry, gocomics seems a tad slow to me this morning, but this is my first comment of the day.Good morning to the handsome and gorgeous Citizens of Dog.
Good morning kids. I see the gremlins are hard at work today at the Go Comics site. Back to work and the daily grind today. Bike weekend at the Ozarks was a blast of cool air and some rain, but a good time nonetheless. Good thing Dry doesn’t live in the Midwest. Fall temps started about the end of August. 80’s during the day and cool 60’s at night. This has been a wierd year for weather..Maybe you should go with a cross between a little Mel Gibson and a lot of Mel Torme. It hits a little closer to home Fergus..nighthawks EXCELLENT WORK as usual sir..sugie I hope everything goes well with the surgery. You and your family are in my daily thoughts.
The character, Mel Cooley , was Alan Brady’s brother-in-law (Carl Reiner played Alan Brady), and also Dick Van Dyke’s, RoseMarie’s and Morey Amsterdam’s immediate boss.Mel Cooley was played by Richard Deacon.
Grog and Dry, I am sorry I left so abruptly last night. I really had a headache from the loud music in my building, and I was tired from all the problems on my laptop last night.
No need to apologize, Shika. I remember such experiences from when I lived in Edmonton. In the last 6 months of my stay, I didn’t get much sleep with my new neighbors.
I vowed I would never live in a townhouse (or appartment) again. A detached home is the only way to go.
got mom to bed.it looks like I’m the one with the headache tonight.paint fumes i think…M.N.F. is more about penalties than game tonight so i might be in bed early.

Mel Torme could have been my late FIL’s twin brother. They even passed away in the same year at the same age. Spooky!

Then there’s Mel from Alice, played by Vic Tayback.

Gee, LIE MUCH Fergus?
I used to love Mel Gibson until he turned into such a duche bag, but I can still watch his movie “Signs” over and over and over again!
