Many eons ago, I majored in French in college and spent my sophomore year in Paris. NOT that I can speak any kind of recognizable French at this point after so many years, but at least I didn’t have to “Google” : “bien sur”. Anything more that, and it’s straight to the Google translator!!!! PS: also studied Spanish and Russian and am equally as bad in those languages as well. Beyond rusty!)

And I’ll tell you something else I HATE about AUTUMN!

I hate these little RAT BAST—-S! They are called Stink Bugs for a reason!

Imagine having 20 – 40 of these things on virtually all of your window screens just looking for a place to come indoors for the winter. And to date, there is nothing that will kill them, short of smashing them, and then you get even more STINK!

Shika you just had to go and mention Fiddlehead, didn’t you? I used to order Pickled Fiddlehead Ferns from some store in Vermont. Got to thinking about them a few months ago, and couldn’t find anywhere that sold them. Any ideas, folks?

That picture above of the window screen had lots more bugs on it, but of course, I still don’t have the knack to fix it so it fits. Oh well.

Speaking of WHERE’s x-Tech been lately? Can’t recall seeing him anywhere of late. Or am I just missing him here and about?

x-Tech!! Good to see you sir! And thanks for fixing that. It gives a somewhat better idea of how annoying Stink Bugs are. Imagine several screens loaded with them, and then they get into your house, and oh my!

I thought it was silly at first and I wasn’t keen on it, but I’d watch it because it was sandwiched between shows that I liked. It just kind of grew on me, and now, even in syndication, I’ll watch the reruns over and over. There’s very few shows that hit me like that. Dharma and Greg did, to the point where I bought that show on DVD (something I never do.) So, who can explain it? What appeals to one person doesn’t to another….or you don’t like it at first, then it grows on you and you become the biggest fan. I guess that’s why there’s variety…the spice of life!
