How was your day happy?

The weather man is promising us some pretty heavy rain and flash flooding for tomorrow. I’ll be quite happy to be done with my shopping by 9AM. I can take a nap later on while the downpours are hindering traffic for most everyone else.

Almost, Shika. Given our weather situation tomorrow, I’m especially motivated to get an early start to my day tomorrow.

Stel sorry I missed you! Yes nighthawks deserves the AWARD! But that was just a bit, well ….. LOL! I’m sure glad I don’t have Gnomes in my yard! (At least none that I have seen, but you never know about those dudes. I hear they come quietly at night and steal your soul.)

Me too Grog. When you hit the hay, I’m outta here. I did my laundry today, I’ve made my bed, and I’m a gonna lie in it!

time to start mo rtoward bed.ill be back in a bit.

Okay, I will be good now. I like doing laundry. It feels good to have everything fresh and clean again. Not that my clothes get terribly dirty mind you.

Unless I have been gardening of course.

Actually, no. I didn’t think of it right away when I got home. So I was folding laundry when I should have been cooking my dinner.

I do that sometimes Grog. Today, I wanted to get everything done before I left for dinner, so I was motivated to finish early.

I will never ever eat haggis. I finally know what the ingredients are.

What brought that on? Is theere haggis around that I missed? Fortunately, I’ve always known what haggis is, and so I’ve never tried it.

Guy Fieri ate it! But I won’t!

I love steak & kidney pie, but I will not do haggis!

Am I the only one who still has to access my comics here one by one? I’m not going to read them here. I can read much faster at my other comic site, now that they have fixed it.

I will try most any food once.

It was on Diners, Drivins & Dives, Shika. It’s on the Food network here. I don’t know if you get that.

I’m afraid I can’t say the same, cleo. There are some that might intrigue me, but others will give me the dry heaves.

I try to eat fairly healthy. We always have a big salad that we have as our last dinner item.

It’s true, cleo. I may drool over a good bit of it, but it’s also a good reason why I don’t eat out much. When I cook like that, it’s on special occasions or holidays.

cleo, you’ve always cooked meals to die for. And healthy too.

I am on a tight buget, but I make my grocery money count. I get healthy food and cook healthy, is not expensively.

I eat a fair bit of fish and it’s not deep-fried. I hardly eat beef any more and will occasionally eat pork because I love it so much. Chicken is probably one of the more healthy meats, but I can get real sick of it real fast.

Oh for crying out loud. Suddenly I can’t reply to you individually. I drool over high fat foods as well and occasionally indulge, but I try to eat with a healthy mindset.

And on that note, I’d better say good night before this party gets too late for me.Good Night Grog, cleo, Dry and happy.happy, I’m glad you had a good day. You are getting a lot done. I love how you refinished the bathroom! That took a lot of work.

Our dinners for a week tend to feature fish four nights a week, vegetarian once or twice and meat once or twice.

What I don’t understand is how Guy Fieri doesn’t look like Paul Prudhomme. I don’t know if he’s still around but the last time I saw him he was a BIG man.

They great thing about fish, cleo is there are different speices with their own taste. But chicken is chicken is chicken no matter what you do to it.

i try to eat smart, but i do allow myself cheats once in a while,we eat a lot of talapia. and chicken.mom always loved veggies, so that part is easy.tonight was a cheat. i made meatball soup.my meatballs are half beef and half pork.mmm…the pasta was whole grain.: )
