The new format is terrible! That’s why I left directions/formula on how to get the image code and insert image here…because they’re not providing the “shortcut” anymore that made them easy to use.
This is definitely NOT an improvement! You really have to want a certain image from Photobucket to do a trial and error fussing around to get it here!
I left you a message last night. I sure hope you’re feeling better today and the back discomfort is easing up a bit! I also hope that you’ll have an “easy” day today…don’t overdo, please.
I posted this on Ballard St way back in July, and cannot remember if I posted it here or not, but it is so-o-o-o-o good, why not look at it again??? I’ve watched it 8 or 9 times since I re-discovered it yesterday (at the request of Number Six). So, hope you all enjoy it!!
Of course, that was supposed to be my celebration smiley because I got it right the first time! I stepped out to buy a case of water, you know, just in case! LOL!
I just made seven jars of jalapeño jelly. I love having it in many different ways, but I really like it on a fried egg and ham sandwich. I whip two eggs, add ham, pour it into a scalding hot cast iron skillet. It puffs up like a mini soufflé and I serve it on this killer locally made wheat loaf. mmmm,!
Dry, did you delete the image you worked so hard on? That is what your image says now. I saw a picture of water and now it says you have moved or deleted the image.
Ohhhhhh…..no wonder I didn’t know what you were talking about! The photo after the face being squeezed is still showing on my screen. I wonder why your not getting it????
I guess you CAN teach an “old dog” new tricks, but it sure is more complicated than the old way! This is a pain in the butt and takes too long!
Shika, the image that was deleted I removed because when it posted in my commnet box it said the owner had taken it down. In other words, I guess that was a private album and she didn’t want the picture shared other than beyond Photobucket. At least that’s how I interpret their rules. The picture was another kitten sleeping.
My reply button functions only about 25% of the time. Sorry…don’t feel sorry for those of you that are used to it working all the time. It rarely works for me.
The winds are supposed to get up to 80 mph. I am starting to worry about a maple tree we have close to the house if the wind gets up that high. We had been meaning to get it trimmed but haven’t yet.
Dry I can see a white siamese kitten sleeping on the computer keys now. Before all I could see that it was moved or something. There must be a full moon coming up. This is weird.
When I first learned to do the pictures, I kept a scrap paper taped to my desk with the beginning and ending of the “formula” that you have to add to the URL. The more you do it, the easier it gets. I threw out that scrap paper ages ago, and just type from memory.
Do you do links? That’s all a similar process…..EASY!Say the word when you want instructions. Also, x-Tech’s Formatting Guide is here, if you ever get stuck:
Okay, the quickest way to insert an image found at Photobucket is the hover on the gear icon and select Get media links. From the Share the Photo popup click Direct Link copied should appear.Paste the link into the comment box and enclose it in ! points (StelBel’s secret shortcut) like this.
Ooops, that was a bit too big wasn’t it!!In a new comment box paste your saved comment (I told you to copy it didn’t I?)Now change the link by adding the width modifier.
AND I MISSED STEL! Have a good night lady! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AGAIN! Hope you miss the worst of FRANKENSTORM, looks like we are going to get hit with a MESS!
Hey x_Tech! Thanks for the assistance as well. It is a BIG RIP ROARING PAIN IN THE BUTT, ISN’T IT THOUGH?! Why do websites that are so user friendly turn into DEMONS?

Mel is such a sentimentalist.
We have had only one chewer, our first, Bleu. We were so young at the time and had nothing of real value, so no big deal. He was a sweetheart.

Where is Mel? I sense another first coming on.
Good Morning, cleo, sugar, Fellow Baby & the rest of the CD gang!

Dry and Dusty Premium Member about 12 years ago
Okay! (Scratching head, muttering to self)
StelBel about 12 years ago
Ok, ok, ok…….take a breather! One step at a time (These will be in separated comment boxes)
1. Type this: < img src = ’
(Just keep in mind the only space in between the img and the src. I have to put in more spaces or it won’t show up here…ahhh, the mysteries!)
StelBel about 12 years ago
2. Now paste in the URL image code.
The image code that you want to use is this:
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b155/mel_danielle/Tropical%20storms%20and%20the%20obx/DSC00186.jpg
DO NOT TYPE IN “IMG URL” !!! That’s what the CODE is called!!!!!
StelBel about 12 years ago
now, make sure there are NO spaces EXCEPT between img and src
StelBel about 12 years ago
after it says .jpg, ADD (with NO space) another apostrophe (’)
JP Steve Premium Member about 12 years ago
Poor Dry — getting instructions in stereo!
StelBel about 12 years ago
then, type: width = ’ 250 ’ > (but with NO spaces!)
StelBel about 12 years ago
So the whole sequence looks like this, BUT with only ONE space between IMG and SRC:
< img src=’ http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b155/mel_danielle/Tropical%20storms%20and%20the%20obx/DSC00186.jpg’ width = ’ 250 ’ >
StelBel about 12 years ago
(Is that the image you wanted???)
note: as I said before, width can be up to 350…then you won’t go outside the comment box.
StelBel about 12 years ago
“Is that last one for real? I mean the notice about hotlinking.
“NerdNirvanana”? Really"+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++?? Where? What? Huh? Where are you seeing “NerdNirvanana” and “hotlinking” ???

Shikamoo Premium Member about 12 years ago
I’ll never try Windows 8! I had so much trouble with Vista. Then I switched to 7. I’m quitting while I am ahead.
StelBel about 12 years ago
@Shika
Do you see an old, pouty pumpkin face that is right above our comments now. That’s the one that you couldn’t see from this morning.
